I see Rafael Cruz Sr. on YouTube telling some Tea Party Conferences
in Iowa about how evil Social Security and Medicare are for America. Queer
hearing this from an eight year naturalized “American” citizen. Did he ever bother to pay into the system? Grifter!

about how great America is. It is so great that it took him 50 years to repay
the country of his good fortunes and become a citizen in 2005, fifty years
after coming here as an illegal(?) in 1957 –

on naming my son Messiah because it means God and I didn't think a judge could
make me change my baby's name because of her religious beliefs," said
Martin. Her appeal will be heard by the Cocke County Chancellor on Sept. 17.

U.S. "churches aren't their own," Gastonguay said, suggesting that government regulation interfered with religious independence.
Among other differences, she said they had a problem with being "forced to pay these taxes that pay for abortions we don't agree with."
The Gastonguays weren't members of any church, and she said their faith came from reading the Bible and through prayer. "The Bible is pretty clear," she said.

I thought that the self-serving account of the Great Governor of North
Carolina Pat McCrory in Wikipedia had no link in the body of text regarding his Alma Mater Catawba College.
So I thought that maybe there is no
write up on Wiki so I did a further search on Google and found that yes, there
is a Wiki write up on Catawba College.
Considering that McCrory has an honorary title from Catawba and is a
current member of the Board of Trustees makes me wonder if there is something
in the self-serving Wiki Tea Party misinformation, disinformation, omitted by
link information, what is Pat McCrory hiding or Masking by default on Wikipedia?
Apparently there is a simmering, festering, on the back burner the
issue, possible racist issue of the use of Indians as mascots for Catawba sport
teams.
That the NCAA has a two faced Janus ruling, not unlike their approval/disapproval
policies with child abuse at Penn State, apparently Catawba can trash Indians

U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx’s former chief of staff is taking the helm at the N.C. Republican Party.
Todd Poole will serve as executive director, managing the day-to-day party activities and staff for GOP Chairman Claude Pope.
Poole is a Hickory native who recently opened his own political consulting firm, Red Dome Group.
Most recently, he served on Foxx’s staff and previously worked as an aide to then-Rep. Richard Burr. He also worked in North Carolina on the Bush-Cheney campaign in 2004.
“We are excited to welcome Todd as the new executive director of the North Carolina Republican Party,” Pope said in a statement Monday.
“Todd’s experience, knowledge of the state and political instincts will serve our party well as we work to elect Republicans at all levels of government with a keen eye on defeating Senator Kay Hagan in 2014.”

What Religion is Art Pope in North Carolina – the First American Christian Sharia State?

Eleven Republicans, including the state’s House Majority Leader (Edgar V. Starnes), backed a resolution proclaiming that the Constitution “does not grant the federal government and does not grant the federal courts the power to determine what is or is not constitutional,” and then decreeing that North Carolina could establish its own state religion. On the bright side, state house Speaker Thom Tillis announced that he would not advance this resolution after it was widely panned.

Church on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway – Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral - Philly
The RC cathedral on Benjamin Franklin Parkway was started in the
1840s about the time of the Know Nothing Riots of the natives, mostly
protestant, against the immigrants, Irish and German, mostly Catholic.
It was built on the western edge of the city that was more populated
along the Delaware River than the Schuylkill River on the west. It was also
built on Logan Square, the general area of which including the Cathedral
grounds, was the city’s potter’s field.
Contrary to popular belief the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, a new
diagonal boulevard that mirrors the Champs Elysees in Paris in design and
measurement, was not thought of by returning American veterans of WWI after
they had seen Paree. The Boulevard was a
diagonal thoroughfare from City Hall to the old obsolete Reservoir, planned
site of a new city museum way before WWI.
No doubt because it was the cathedral of a powerful voting block of
Catholics in Philly in the beginning of the twentieth century, it could not be
knocked down for political reasons. The angle of the road had to be adjusted to
keep Sts. Peter and Paul’s intact on Logan Square being cut through and soon to
be a fancy traffic circle on the cultural mile of public buildings and museums of
the new parkway.
Sts. Peter and Paul’s is not an attractive building on the outside.
Its brownstone façade dates it to the nineteenth century. So too it sits tall and out of
proportion. Perhaps the original design
with two small bell towers on top of each end of the front would have balanced the top
heavy appearance a bit more into architectural symmetry.
That and Urban Myth
has the cathedral having ten feet added to the bottom of the structure as a
defensive move so that no stained glass and or windows would be near street
level for anti-Catholic rioters to attack or throw rocks through.
The true beauty of the cathedral is its surroundings of classical
and French architectural style public buildings, museums and public art.
This lack of street level windows and or stained glass near to the
main floor of the interior makes for a rather gloomy interior.
Though with a lot of lighting some of these interior pictures seem presentable. That and the overall interior of marble veneers and gilded plaster on wood decorations in
imitation of solid stone structure presents an acceptable theatrical setting
but nothing of remarkable original or unique design.

If it goes on to be approved by the Senate, Uruguay will become the
first country to regulate the production, distribution and sale of marijuana.
The law is backed by the government of President Jose Mujica, which
says it will remove profits from drug dealers and divert users from harder
drugs.
Under the bill, only the government would be allowed to sell
marijuana.
The state would assume "the control and regulation of the
importation, exportation, plantation, cultivation, the harvest, the production,
the acquisition, the storage, the commercialisation and the distribution of
cannabis and its by-products".
Buyers would have to be registered on a database and be over the age
of 18. They would be able to buy up to 40g (1.4oz) per month in specially
licensed pharmacies or grow up to six plants at home.

The contracts have proved popular with employers as they do not set a minimum number of hours that have to be worked, allowing firms to draft in extra staff at short notice during busy periods.

Those employed under the contracts say they do not know if or when they will be working from one week to the next, making family and childcare commitments impossible.
Buckingham Palace uses the contracts for temporary staff working in its shop and the State Rooms during the summer.
A spokesman for the Royal Collection Trust, which employs the temporary workforce, denied that the deal equated to a zero-hour contract.
She conceded that employees were not guaranteed work but said rotas were issued around a month in advance, meaning workers could plan around their hours.
A copy of a staff contract from 2009 stated: ‘Your hours of work will be advised by the visitor manager and will be dependent upon the requirements for retail assistants at Buckingham Palace as and when required.’
