I read the other day about 8 kids ripped from their moms on the Mexican border now being housed on Long Island at I think a "Catholic" charity called Mercy First which is now acknowledged as being one of several in New York state now housing such children, such jetsam and flotsam from the southern border, per this NY Post article, a Murdoch product along side Fox News.

My first reaction to the Long Island facility has to do with the RC church as a business dealing with the care and feeding of children considering its track record worldwide. i.e. Madalene Asylums for unwed mothers in Ireland and their gateway to child trafficking via adoption and adoption fees etc. to support the church etc.

The Peron years in Argentina and the last days of the Franco years in Spain made for some really profitable adoption of infants ripped from female political prisoners, many of which disappeared back over some other border in the middle of the night after some makeshift encounter by law with a Jeff Sessions Kangaroo Immigration type Court ? etc.

Isn't it Putin who no longer wants his Russian children to be delivered via "adoption" to the Americans in retaliation for the Sanctions imposed on Russia for the invasion of Crimea. To punish the Americans who have the most influence to change the Sanctions?

And is this sarcasm? Wasn't the secret meeting in the stairwell at Trump Tower before and or after the 2016 election between ring leader Donald Trump Jr. and Jeff Sessions?? etc and Russians about "Adoption".

And President Trump now acknowledges that he dictated the "Adoption Meeting" memo with the Russians for functionally illiterate son Don Jr. Like father, like son. Adoption always on some perverts' minds?

The paranoid part of me thought of how close these kid victims of the Border War or is it a War on Humanity, how close these kids on Long Island are to the pervert billionaires at the Hamptons at the eastern end of Long Island, it being summer season and all that, and maybe some kind billionaires can invite the kiddies to the beachfront properties for a day visit and picnic out on parole for the day from kiddie prison?

Rep. Jodie Laubenberg, R-Parker, says her antenna lifted when her 76-year-old mom visited the Plano driver’s license office recently and was fingerprinted.

“They do not have the legislative authority to do this,” Laubenberg says. “I was there in 2005” when the bill the DPS says gives them permission was enacted. “I guarantee this would have blown up if that was part of the bill.”

The 2005 law said the DPS could collect “an applicant’s thumbprint or fingerprints.” Two sponsors of the original bill have said it wasn’t meant to let the agency collect all 10 prints; only if a thumb wasn’t available, fingers could be used. That was, they say, their intent.

The decision to fingerprint all Texas drivers was handled by DPS through rule-making, not law, Laubenberg said, and that’s not good enough.

“I’m all for supporting DPS, but this one is a privacy issue. And this is one that we need to debate publicly. … I want them to cease taking fingerprints.”

These problems kill a Christian love of poverty and zeal. They choke off a real life of faith. They create the shadows that hide institutional and personal sins. And they encourage a paralysis that can burrow itself into every heart and every layer of the Church, right down to individual Catholics in the pews. The result is that Philadelphia, like so much of the Church in the rest of our country, is now really mission territory–again; for the second time...  

First, religious freedom is a cornerstone of the American experience. This is so obvious that once upon a time, nobody needed to say it. But times have changed. So it’s worth recalling that Madison, Adams, Washington, Hamilton, Franklin, Jefferson–in fact, nearly all the American founders–saw religious faith as vital to the life of a free people. Liberty and happiness grow organically out of virtue. And virtue needs grounding in religious faith... 

We’re becoming a nation where, as Ross Douthat describes it, “a growing number [of us] are inventing [our] own versions of what Christianity means, abandoning the nuances of traditional theology in favor of religions that stroke [our] egos and indulge, or even celebrate, [our] own worst impulses.” And it’s happening at a time when the Church is compromised by her own leaders and people from within, and pushed to the margins or attacked by critics without...

Marco Rubio - self hating immigrant?

The story breaking in the press is that Senator Rubio, who was until today going to be the VP on the GOP presidential ticket no matter who going to be the top on that ticket, that Marco had played  fast and furious with the truth.


He, in his election propaganda, said that his parent were Cuban "exiles", presumably from Castro. But this is what I love, the timeline. His parents were merely immigrants from Cuba a full two years or more before Castro came to power.


And of course, Senator Rubio, is a big right wing hawk favoring the strictest of laws by states like Arizona to screw immigrants, illegal of course. No compassion from one Hispanic to another? NO.  Nothing personal.  Strictly business.  FYIGM


Which leaves you wondering why Marco Rubio is in denial about the immigrant label on his parents and he as the son of immigrants.  Makes him sound like some self-hating immigrant or to be technical, a self-hating son of immigrants.

Death Panels - Death Squads - Code Pink

I see a common thread throughout all the current shouting and fuss over Health Care Reform legislation. The Birthers, Deathers, Town Hallers, exhibit a certain energy and strength and yet they are still delivering the same blob of whatever as they did during the recent campaign. The cause changes but the energy of it all speaks of some common roots – linguistic and primal.

What I see in looking at recent campaign tapes on You Tube and elsewhere is a sort of recycled five hundred year coded message that immigrants to America brought with them from religious persecution in Europe. And they, the insecure, the border line crazy, will not let go of it!

Indeed, the last bus stop from east to west was Los Angeles for many decades. The pioneers, the immigrants pushed westward to La La Land and carried with them some long festering fear and paranoia related to an imperfect freedom in America – imperfect because somehow someone or something will reach in and take freedom away. Once they got to the west coast there was no place to convert mental energy into travel – or to hide from your active fears and anxieties.

A blunderbuss at your door mirrored the real fear of attack by those natives on whose lands you were now in some European sense taking hold of. A need to carry arms mirrored the belief that no European country with its religious persecution was going to take away the American dream, whatever that is – it like the pursuit of happiness can be very elusive and from generation to generation takes on new meanings and nuances.

Listening to some key words in the current anger and fuss in Town Hall settings, I see different things. Many Americans feel out of touch with the bizarre way Washington rules itself and is not accountable to anybody, not even God. And not balancing a budget is just bad business and bad economic sense but it just goes on and on and on. Now that we have reached our credit limits with China, I see new overtures toward India and their potential lines of credit for the American consumer appetite – the modern day version of bread and circus to keep the mob under control.

Some key code words being tossed around right now in the streets and on talk radio are:

Big government – possibly the English Crown, Tudors and Stuarts, who perpetuated the religious persecution of commoners along with German princes.

Hitler – Satan – the prince of darkness used to be black until the nineteenth century and the invention of color lithography when he turns red.

Red - Satan

Nazis – devils

Swastika – twisted cross – (Crucifix – the pope)

Eupropean Socialist – European.

Birth Certificate – legitimacy – one hundred and fifty years of European religious wars all over who has the right religion and who is more legitimate than the next guy.

Death Panels – the Inquistion – and let’s not overlook Sarah’s possible Freudian slip of death panels meaning death squads, an acceptable way blessed by conservatives to rule by dictatorships in Central and South America.

Let us not deceive ourselves into thinking that in a coded subculture surviving to this day that used to suppress slaves and murders Indians, that the coded message going out now is a real message so much as very hot pressure point push words being manipulated by certain parties and that may go back to the Reformation.
