Pope's retirement was foreseen when restructuring work began on the Mater
Ecclesiae convent, within the Vatican, where he will live after the last nuns

I am reminded of a story I came
across somewhere about how when Cardinal Krol of Philadelphia retired in 1988,
he stayed in the premier living space of the 40 plus room Bishop’s Mansion on City
Line Avenue in Philly.

That newly appointed Archbishop Bevilacqua had to settle for whatever else secondary space was available in the
big house. Notes to the Vatican regarding protocols for retired senior clergy
were met with polite non-reply.
Krol had after all been John Paul II’s
kingmaker in the papal election of 1978 as official liaison for the American delegation and unofficial liaison for the CIA.
Rank, through indebtedness and or blackmail involving a
pope, has its privileges.
He stayed long enough to tie up many
loose ends from his work with his predecessor. Paper Shredder #23's warranty

An excellent article by Jason Berry regarding some
info in leaked documents coming out of the Vatican regarding “Pedophile King
Marcial Maciel” of the successful financial cult Legion of Christ, fully
supported in its day and now currently being recycled in its assets, within the
arms and definitions of the Roman Catholic church now under control of Benedict the German,

It would seem that rather than clean up the cesspool
cult and it brainwashing pedophile tendencies, Ratzinger and Bertone are too
busy looting the wealth of Maciel’s religious empire before any reforms are

The phrase Berry uses in quotations haunted me when

Maciel is the
grand-nephew of a Mexican saint canonized in 2007, Rafael GuÃzar Valencia,
who also was an integral part of the founding of the Legion of Christ. There
has been speculation that conduct by Maciel contributed to the death of this
great uncle.
According to an investigative report: The day before Bishop
Guizar died, he had been heard shouting angrily at Marcial Maciel. He was
giving his eighteen-year-old nephew a dressing down after two women had come to
the bishop's house to complain about Maciel, who was their neighbor. Father Orozco,
who was among the original group of boys to found the Legion of Christ in 1941,
said he heard the women had complained about the "noise" Maciel was
making with children he had brought into his home to teach religion. He said
that the seminary officials blamed Maciel for his uncle's heart attack.
Through the Legion of
Christ and the Regnum Christi, Maciel started many schools, a network of
Universities and a large number of charitable institutes. In January 2006 he
stepped down as head of the Legion of Christ…

executive director of the International Cultic Studies Association sees classic
signs of a cult at work in the Legion. A counseling psychologist and scholar
with a long background in the field, he toldNCRabout his visit to
Legion headquarters in Cheshire in 2003. He wanted a representative to appear
at a conference for an open forum with critics of the order. "Fr. Owen
Kearns [former U.S. spokesman for the order] told me that Maciel had a charism.

negate the good the Legion has done, or make all these young priests bad
people.' His response was, 'It would mean I have been following a false
charism.' Later I recalled C.S. Lewis'The Screwtape Letters, seeing that position as one of
spiritual pride. We see this in cult environments all the time: elitism, a

Radio, TV and Internet were banned in the rooms

Legion general director Corcuera advanced through an early Regnum Christi youth
group. Fr. Luis Garza, the Legion vicar general -- in effect, the chief
financial officer -- graduated from a Legion prep school in Monterrey, Mexico,
one of eight siblings in the family of one Mexico's wealthiest industrialists.
Garza oversees Integer, an internal mechanism Maciel
created to keep certain assets off the Legion books, according to sources
familiar with the finances. As Maciel siphoned off Legion funds -- which had
been donated to a religious charity -- for support of his two women and four
children, Integer was a means to control and shield accountability from church
authorities. The former Regnum Christi insider explains: "If someone sues
the Legion, they have no assets. If the pope says, 'Show me your assets,' well,
we have no money."
I know this sounds bizarre but a light bulb went on
regarding the Prince Bishop of New York City Cardinal Timothy Dolan sticking
his nose up the ass, into the affairs of the Irish Seminary in Rome, on behalf

The problem with the Irish Seminary and the staff of

One seems to forget John Paul’s invitation to
Britain at the behest of the fascist minded Margaret Thatcher Government in May
1982 only to have John Paul II fly over to the fascist Junta in Argentina to
give succor to fellow fascists and pretend to be a peace maker in the Falklands War.
I am reminded on how what a total creep and massive
personal friend John Paul II was of the Pedophile King Father Marcial Maciel of
the Legion of Christ anti-human cult within the RCC sect of Christianity. The Pedophile King could not be $topped by
John Paul II, would not be stopped when the bottom line spreadsheet had impressive numbers

His dismissal for "defective pastoral leadership" is an irony given
his reputation as one of the most pastoral-minded of all the Australian
bishops. To offer a single example, in 2009 he sacked the principal of a
Toowoomba Catholic primary school and two Catholic Education officials for
failing to report to the police an early complaint from one of 13 schoolgirls
aged 9 and 10 who were sexually abused by a teacher. The teacher was later
sentenced to 10 years in jail.
That the bottom line for the sacking of Bishop Bill Morris of Toowoomba in Australia was his willingness to hand over a sex abuse case involving a Catholic school teacher over to the cops. Something no American bishop and any RC bishop worldwide seems capable of doing.
That if anything is evident in the present Vatileaks
scandal of the Ratzinger/Bertone Regime is that money, greed, embezzlement,
bribery, blackmail and oral and anal sex among celibate seminarians, priests

Some news from parts down under. The above billboard poster outside St. Matthew’s in the City Anglican Church in Auckland New Zealand got defaced recently. Some Catholic group took credit for the vandalism proudly in the energy and spirit of the Ratzinger USCCB knuckle dragging, club wielding, Volksmiliz enforced “New Evangelism” .
No doubt Ratzinger’s limited German vision sees the perfect German town square where like-minded German people are welcome to share only one state approved vision of things like the Virgin Mary, pregnancy, etc. and in the total abstinence of thought of petty matters that women should not concern themselves with like birth control or pregnancy testing devices like the one the Virgin Mary is holding above.
St. Matt’s is no doubt an intelligent progressive type of congregation and no doubt gets its kicks out of insulting the intellectual mechanics of the average New Zealander Archie Bunker types. Having seen firsthand the dark and shady nature of business in both the Mortgage and Brokerage businesses I have to concede that it is a breath of fresh air that accompanies the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) indictment of Goldman Sachs.
Goldman Sachs packaged shit as securities and then sold the “securities” to their best customers and then took out insurance on the shit already planned to fail in the mortgage business. It says a lot about the moral state of the money changers and money lenders in our midst in our day.
In an appropriate metaphor to explain the current indictment at Goldman Sachs:
Described another way, Paulson handpicked sick, diseased pigs to be made into sausage, then bet millions that the resulting sausage would make people sick. Goldman, for its part, made the poisoned sausage (and got paid), sold that sausage to its own unwitting customers (and got paid again), and. like Paulson, bet millions that those customers would get sick (and got paid yet again).
It says a lot about how criminal cartels whether they be drug lords in Columbia or Wall Street executives or even bishops of holy mother Church.
The words “criminal cartel” came to mind with the reading of this article below about how a Vatican bureaucrat Cardinal Dario Castrillon Hoyos sent a letter of praise to a French Bishop for his harboring and hiding a priest rapist from the wrath of the public and civil law. Cardinal Hoyos had also orchestrated the return of the Piux X cult last year, tricked another cardinal into signing off on it. You remember Richard Williamson, the rabid anit-Semitic bishop of that cult?
The Sept. 8, 2001 letter from Cardinal Dario Castrillon Hoyos, then the head of the Vatican office in charge of priests, praised bishop Pierre Pican for risking prison time to defend the Rev. Rene Bissey.
French Catholic publication Golias published a copy of the letter on March 30. The Vatican has faced accusations of secrecy that allowed priests to rape and molest children unchecked for decades.
Of course after 2001, that bureaucracy no longer had charge of priests and priests issues such as buggery. That the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith (for centuries called the Office of the Inquisition) under Cardinal Ratzinger could and did change the pro-priest, anti-people corporate culture in a snap of his fingers. Yeah right.
It does takes time for large corporations to change a corporate culture. It takes years, perhaps decades, and not mere months to change centuries old secret hidden traditions attached to celibacy and the like. I say hidden in that denial of a problem and its constant cover-up for centuries is an embedded problem when brought to light in a modern age of human rights and enlightenment.
Which bring me to another article that when I read it I was struck by the thought of how the RC corporation was able to shift pedo-priests all over the globe and back again.
"The pattern is if a priest gets into trouble and it's close to becoming a scandal or if the law might get involved, they send them to the missions abroad," said Richard Sipe, a former Benedictine monk and critic of what he says is a practice of international transfers of accused and admitted priest child abusers. "Anything to avoid a scandal."
Church officials say that in some cases, the priests themselves moved to another country and the new parish might not have been aware of past allegations. In other cases, church officials said they did not believe the allegations, or that the priest had served his time and reformed.
That with hundreds of priests helped in their escape from civil justice for crimes against children that there must be some central inquiry board within the Vatican to advise where there is a desperate need for priests in the various parishes of the planet. If not that, then there must some paid consultants that for a fee will advise a bishop as to where to apply for the export of troublesome priests out of their diocese.
In any case, the advice recently of the pope for Christians to pray for repentance of their sins in reference to this pedo-scandal of its pedo- priests and pedo-protecting bishops, why do I have to pray for the pope’s and his crony bishops’ many, many, many sins?

I start with a quote from Al Jazeera English about a California Priest who got caught molesting kids - his defrocking as requested from then Bishop Cummins of Oakland got put on hold for years before the priest was defrocked.
John Cummins, then a bishop in the US, wrote to the Vatican arguing that Kiesle should be stripped of his priesthood.
"It is my conviction that there would be no scandal if this petition were granted and that as a matter of fact, given the nature of the case, there might be greater scandal to the community if Father Kiesle were allowed to return to the active ministry,'' he wrote.
In a letter sent to the bishop years later, Ratzinger says that Kiesle should be provided with "as much paternal care as possible" while awaiting a final decision.
He urged local church officials to take into account the "good of the universal church" and "detriment that granting the dispensation can provoke within the community of Christ's faithful, particularly considering the young age".
Kiesle was 38 at the time, and remained a priest until 1987. He was convicted of more sex offences against children during the 1990s and now lives as registered sex offender in California.
The Vatican confirmed the letter bore Ratzinger's signature, but refused to comment on its contents.
Hardly a smoking gun but the documents proving the Vatican and the pope to be liars in these matters will continue to come to light and accumulate on the scales of justice.
John Paul II would not let go of priests - they were too valuable as asset to waste. The age of the offending priest was a factor in that at 38, you could probably get another 40 years of labor out of him. In this case Cardinal Ratzinger was probably following orders from his superior John Paul to sit on all exit paperwork for priests, whether molesters or not.
I started with Al Jazeera news service because this story is now on the front pages of Muslim newspapers all over the world.
That I as a Christian, Culturally and minimally, would be ashamed to announce my belief system in Syria, Egypt, Iran, Indonesia etc. because the Roman Catholic church as the so called, by numbers only, leader of the Christian faith – is now content in representing that Christianity to the world as something like a religious whore house full of peckers after little boys and little girls.
The real scandal is not in the numbers, large or small of crimes, but of mismanagement and the absolute cold and distant manner in which people are viewed by the hierarchy of the RC church in the Vatican. In document after document the offending priests or clergy are written about with care along with that of the prestige of the RC corporation. People be damned in comparison to the priests and heirarchy.
The RC church that uses the world Universal which should mean Global means nothing more that the private (by membership only) boys only club in the Vatican.
The hierarchy is separate from the simple faith of the laity and the hierarchy should be chopped off like a diseased limb by the laity.
At least Bishop Cummins in Oakland in the early eighties was trying to get rid of a bad apple of a priest. But we must put all this in context of the ambitions and dreams of John Paul II to use his powers first and only for the dream of a free and united Poland. That buggered children in California was not part of that global dream of a very ambitious Polish Priest and Pope. That by appointing mediocre cronies like Ratzinger to sit on paperwork to get rid of “filth”, John Paul devoted all his efforts in concord with the CIA and the USA to destroy Soviet hegemony.
The theory that any Bishop in the Catholic church can defrock a priest or end celibacy in that diocese will not happen. This will not happen as long as cronies, loyal to their pope only - as Cardinal Ratzinger was blindly loyal to John Paul II, continue in office even after showing failed Management and failed Moral skills. They are not loyal to any mere laity creatures.
No changes will happen so long as these political cronies keep getting put into positions and appointments in Europe and America. And certainly not while these papal stooges keep selling, draining, stealing off assets of those two political entities to build the new next century RC church in Africa and Asia.
John Paul II had the same medieval, backward looking, not friendly user attitude toward the laity that Benedict XVI is now being trashed for. John Paul II could get away with it. John Paul II, if you read current history books, single handedly brought down the evil Soviet Empire. The west, masters of the liberal media, and pro-western, anti-Soviet propaganda, makes John Paul some sort of Nietzsche religious superman if such a combination could possibly occur.
In fact, I think that in fifty years, I believe that historians if they are able to be honest will paint the source of the present crumbling western culture on three people. They will be Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and John Paul II. Not a true axis of evil so to speak but maybe a goofy “Gang of Three” who set the western civilization down a wrong road toward Global fascism and away from human liberation and freedom – a secular real time salvation.
What we have in the Vatican in the midst of the European dam burst on sex abuse by RC clergy is American Style Management which in reality these days is American Style Mismanagement. Gross mismanagement.
There is somebody in Germany who comes forth and says he got molested by a priest under Archbishop Ratzinger’s jurisdiction and tenure. After some delay, hemming and hawing, some underling has fallen on his sword for the commander in chief and stated that he made the decision to house this molester away from his parish etc. and then the “priest” went on to molest more children unimpeded for another thirty years.

Instead, the priest was allowed to resume full duties almost immediately, and went on to abuse more children.
The Vatican also sought to defend the pope against criticism that a Vatican rule requiring secrecy in abuse cases was tantamount to obstruction of justice in civil courts. …
The archdiocese said in a statement on Friday that the priest was moved to Munich in 1980 for therapy with the approval of Archbishop Joseph Ratzinger, the man who later became Pope Benedict. But the priest was soon reassigned to pastoral work by Archbishop Ratzinger’s deputy, Vicar General Gerhard Gruber, and was later convicted of sexually abusing minors. “You see how they just kept moving him around,” Wilfried F. said. “He could keep doing it like before.”

The Pope played a leading role in a systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by Roman Catholic priests, according to a shocking documentary to be screened by the BBC tonight.
In 2001, while he was a cardinal, he issued a secret Vatican edict to Catholic bishops all over the world, instructing them to put the Church's interests ahead of child safety.
The document recommended that rather than reporting sexual abuse to the relevant legal authorities, bishops should encourage the victim, witnesses and perpetrator not to talk about it. And, to keep victims quiet, it threatened that if they repeat the allegations they would be excommunicated.
There are good Catholic Christians out there who must endure the burden of this cross from all its corrupt bishops who routinely cover up crimes against children in the interest of protecting their vested interest in that institution.
I pray they have the strength to endure and throw these bums out into the street and into jail where they belong.
The Roman Catholic Church has not had a real, human or decent pope since John XXIII.

The pope is not guilty of his brother's sins. The tsunami of corruption that now is the hallmark of the Catholic past and present will not go away with apologies or insincere attempts to reform this corrupt dysfunctional system of rule.
BERLIN (AP) — The pope's brother said in a newspaper interview published Tuesday that he slapped pupils as punishment after he took over a renowned German boys' choir in the 1960s. He also said he was aware of allegations of physical abuse at an elementary school linked to the choir but did nothing about it.
The Rev. Georg Ratzinger, 86, said he was completely unaware of allegations of sexual abuse at the Regensburger Domspatzen boys choir, part of a string of charges of sex abuse by church employees across Europe in recent days.
It is very sad. The partial admission does not shade the overall genetic corruption and abuse of the system.
I get a sense of panic in the official words. The wagons are circled. Nothing will change. Benedict's pontificate is over. He is a failure figuratively as well as literally.
With the return to a Medieval mentality of present and recent hierarchies, comes the medieval "Pornocracy" - the rule by whores (bishops) of the Church.

Watch the race to the doors out of the temples, and more local scandals, the bishops with their pockets full of cash now deserting a sinking ship. Maybe a few indictments will happen etc. Yeah right.
The animal-rights group PETA, which earlier prompted monks at a U.S. abbey to quit raising chickens, is hoping scripture, moral suasion and the words of Pope Benedict XVI will spark change at Our Lady of Calvary Abbey in Rogersville, N.B.
"It denies God to treat animals this way," PETA's Bruce Friedrich said yesterday. "It's standard factory farming. They are denying these animals everything God designed them to be and to do."
He added that the monks' argument that they "carefully follow government norms" carries little weight.
"The monastery should not hide behind human laws, they should do what is morally right," Mr. Friedrich said. "Cruelty to animals is not just immoral, it's unchristian."
