Raleigh RC Cathedral Buys Stained Glass at Fire Sale Prices From Philadelphia Temple Closed / Tossed Aside in Inner City

Architectural Rendering - New RC Raleigh Cathedral

$50 million in Pledges for the new RC Raleigh Cathedral. Stained glass recycled out of a dead Harrowgate Kensington Church, a true city on a hill structure in its day amidst the factories of Kensington. They let the roof go for years, decades. The factories closed, the whites ran to the burbs and the ‘po folks, the feared blacks and Hispanics have moved in to compete with the majority numbers in the old Irish neighborhood.

The ultimate decline of Ascension Parish took it final hits while Cardinal Rigali mismanaged everything in sight while he slept mostly in Rome with Philly as his second or third home. AD of Philadelphia obsessed on Abortion (never mind Birth Control) since Humane Vitae instead of race relations or anything remotely Christian led in part in my opinion to a racially divided Philadelphia to this day.

Rigali still exists, unpunished,  as a house guest of the Bishop of Knoxville Tennessee, a “protégé” who is also building some sort of hundred million dollar Cathedral in the burbs where the white Catholic money is these days.

Cathedral building and pledges of millions of dollars is the new pet project of American Bishops to show financial power and laundering abilities and to move onto a RNC approved red hat appointment.

RALEIGH — The Catholic Diocese of Raleigh is still months away from breaking ground on its new cathedral off Western Boulevard, but already it has bought the windows.
Forty-two stained-glass windows are being removed from a church in Philadelphia and painstakingly restored so they can be installed in Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh. The 85-year-old windows from Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church tell the story of Jesus’ life, from the angel’s visit to Mary to the resurrection and ascension, in vivid colored glass held together by lead.
Ascension of Our Lord closed Oct. 1, one of countless once-thriving churches and synagogues in the Midwest and Northeast whose congregations have shrunk as members move to the suburbs or beyond. Their buildings are often filled with ornate windows, statues, carved woodwork and other works of art that sometimes find new homes in the growing churches of the South.

Swiss Guards Covering up the Sex Crimes of the Vatican? Who has Police Jurisdiction in the Largest “Gay Sauna” in Europe in Rome – The Rome Police or the Pope?

I have to wonder if the Lateran Treaty gives police jurisdiction in matters of crimes and or sex crimes by clergy reported to authorities in the City of Rome - to Italian or Papal forces? To whose police department do these crimes get reported to?

In this case below where the Vatican may own the majority share of some palace condo complex with a big gym sauna hookup in the basement, who gets called when a Cardinal rapes an of age, but non-consenting adult working out at this gym?

Do the Rome Police take the report and hand it over to the Swiss Guard/Private Police Force protecting the Vatican City State and properties claiming diplomatic immunity under the Vatican seal – are these reports filed and forgotten in the Swiss Guard Barracks/Police HQ – or do they simply get shredded immediately as matters of state security.

Who gets those reports of drunken Cardinals running naked in the streets of Rome in the early hours of the A.M.? And who cover ups or destroys these theoretical reports??? (theoretical - yeah right)

That the drunken, sex crazed priests, bishops and cardinals can do anything they want to and expect sex crimes reported to legitimate authority to be taken care of, a policy reflected worldwide, macro, in the abuse of millions of children in the past five decades?

That while many would want to shift blame to “homosexuals” and their so-called disordered natural state – perhaps the crime is in that closeted homosexuals commit crimes too just like the heterosexuals but get and have a better chance of covering up the crime along with the heterosexuals in the Vatican or in Rome in buildings flying the Vatican Diplomatic Flag?

The First Gay Political State (closeted of course)?

There was some real bad crime covered up under the John Paul II / Secretary of State Sodano administration in the form of blaming, perhaps framing Swiss Guard Cedric Tornay for some other cover up of sex crimes in the Vatican Hierarchy that Cedric’s boss Alois Estermann knew too much about?

Ask Cardinal Rigali what he knows.

Cardinal Rigali traveling on a free dime through life even after the Philadelphia Child Abuse Fuck Up on his watch.  A free ride because of what he knows about the sex crimes of the higher ups in the Vatican as father confessor to the Swiss Guards and one of the keystones and or stepping stone for this moron's rise in the ranks of the hierarchy with no other credentials of intelligence and or humanity? -

- and incidentally voting today with him, some unnamed sex criminals, red hats, about to name the next cover-upper of sex crimes worldwide and the Vatican in the New Pope – like New Coke – a temporary fad I would imagine.

I prefer Pope Classic, the real thing. None of the Shit I have seen or tasted for the past thirty odd years or so etc.

A day ahead of the papal conclave, faces at the scandal-struck Vatican were even redder than usual after it emerged that the Holy See had purchased a €23 million (£21 million) share of a Rome apartment block that houses Europe’s biggest gay sauna.

The senior Vatican figure sweating the most due to the unlikely proximity of the gay Europa Multiclub is probably Cardinal Ivan Dias, the head of the Congregation for Evangelisation of Peoples, who is due to participate in tomorrow’s election at the Sistine Chapel.

This 76-year-old “prince of the church” enjoys a 12-room apartment on the first-floor of the imposing palazzo, at 2 Via Carducci, just yards from the ground floor entrance to the steamy flesh pot. There are 18 other Vatican apartments in the block, many of which house priests.

The Holy See is still reeling from allegations that the previous pontiff, Benedict XVI, had quit in reaction to the presence of a gay cabal in the curia.

The Vatican (Benedict)’s Payback to the Irish and the Brits – Gentlemen’s Club Membership Cancelled? – Omerta goes bye-bye - Watch Your Backs Conclave!

Cardinal Keith O'Brien of Scotland - Not a Red Hatted Friend in Sight

One cannot but help notice that the Italian media have led the way against two Cardinals with Irish Names.

Cardinal Mahony of Los Angeles has gotten the heat in the Italian press not to show up and vote for Pope.

Born in Northern Ireland, Cardinal Keith O’Brien of Scotland got the heat in the media real fast when Omerta evaporated away and Priests and or former seminarians got phone calls (?) out of the blue for an intervention for poor dear Keith - no doubt, anonymous phone calls (?), old phone numbers listed in files from decades old complaints, from the not so secret Herranz Report overlapping with the Ratzinger Worldwide Pedophile Legacy Archive in the Vatican -

– all of a sudden accusations against Keith came out of the closet and he was getting payback from the Italians for all the nasty Irish Politicians that have put the Vatican in the its place lately? Talk of legalization of abortion in Irish Parliament etc. Legalization of Gay Marriage in Britain etc.

And retired Philly Crime Boss Justin “Big Frank” Rigali, an I-talian, not so much as a peep of the Child Abuse mess in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and how he was allowed to walk away from those crimes against children and humanity, and retire in the lap of luxury in the lap of his protégé Bishop Stika's Baliwick in Knoxville Tennessee.

Does Pennsylvania have an extradition treaty with Tennessee?

No justice in the world.

Plenty of hypocrisy!

Fair weather friends even among birds of the same feather.

Expect more backstabbing as the days progress in Rome. LOL

Gated White Diocese in Knoxville Tennessee – New Wave of the Catholic Right’s Future? – Glory Hole of Corruption?

Bishop Stika / Cardinal Rigali of Knoxville Tennessee

This all started when I saw Cardinal Rigali getting good air time on some eyewitness news channel related article that gives good air time or print time to local human interest stories to children, animals at the zoo and or a OMG Real Live Cardinal Living in little old Knoxville Tennessee with all us hillbillies kind of media story.
Rigali in my previous article was of course spouting what qualities a new pope should have. Whatever on that.
In my previous article, I thought that maybe the new Cathedral “Rectory” and or Bishop’s Palace had not yet been built in Knoxville. Further research thwarts me on finding any real news on the Internet regarding that matter.
So just giving a reread of some standard things like Wikipedia, one sees where Bishop Stika's career soared under the tutelage of Cardinal Rigali in St. Louis Missouri. Bishop Stika of course dealt with aspects of priests as personnel, Vicar General, and their sexual habits (alleged) with children.
It occurs to me that one of two things seems to be needed for promotion in the Roman Catholic Church IMHO. Cash for bribes and Sexual Blackmail and or knowing a lot about the secrets in the Diocesan Priests’ Personnel Files etc. Of course, that may not be the case in this matter. Bishop Stika came up through the ranks on pure merit. Yeah right. LOL
When Philly crime boss Justin “Big Frank” Rigali was forced to resign in July 2011, in the middle of the Local authorities, District Attorney’s Office in Philly having to take over, intervene, clean up the mess of decades long child abuse and child rape in the Philly Archdiocese, exasperated by Rigali being a part time Philly bishop when not in Rome and hanging with the Swiss Guards etc., I quoted in another article at the time that Rigali was retiring to Knoxville:
Rigali is expected to head to Knoxville, Tenn., to visit his best friend, Bishop Richard Stika, who has "built a home for him to get away from it all," said Michael Sean Winters, a blogger for the National Catholic Reporter. Additionally, Rigali will be making trips to Rome as he is still a member of the Congregation of Bishops.
Apparently Michael Sean Winters quoted correctly or incorrectly in the Philly Press was doing his usual fawning Catholic half-assed PR propaganda best. Cheers, Mikey!
Apparently, Rigali was already looking for retirement digs even before his forced resignation in Philly as mentioned in a blog dated June 2010. Knoxville was “delighted” to have a retired red hat coming to Tennessee?
Do read all the many links attached to above article. Makes very good reading about the Knoxville Diocese.
Well looking into how Opus Dei Archbishop Gomez is no doubt giving retired Cardinal Mahony grief in retirement, hoping to suggest a vote, Mahony’s vote, in the papal election in exchange for friendly prison privileges in his L.A. retirement hell. Etc. -
Looking for the mythical Michael Sean Winter’s memorial Rigali retirement home in Knoxville, I see some shuffling around of funds, funding, Cathedral plans, non-plans, rectory shuffling, convent shuffling, new Bishop’s palace architectural plans in Knoxville, - Justin Rigali is or is not somewhat homeless except for digs in Rome and the occasional sleepover in Stika’s bailiwick to save Justin from the wrath of Charlie Chaput in Philly who should have the upper hand here in asking, suggesting who Justin should vote for as pope/ceo of the Vatican Inc..
Somewhere in there is a grant to build the new bishop’s house for Stika/Rigali in Knoxville from a Dan Murphy Religious Foundation in Los Angeles with a lawsuit from a former board member listed below regarding disputed reporting and or value of assets…
Getting back to the previous link above, it would seem that Former Bishop Kurtz of Knoxville may have been involved in middle of a shell game of funding with an archdiocese loan of $11million to build a great medieval church worthy of being a cathedral in the middle of the rich white western suburbs of Farragut Tenn.  The Cathedral Church of St. John Neumann is on a 42 acre campus and is ready for perhaps a college and or seminaries, convents to sprout in the shadow of the Cathedral church.
Saint John Neumann - Farragut Tennessee

A new very richly appointed rectory was supposed to be ready for construction in 2010 at St John’s of a similar rumored budget, later quoted as a misprint, as the new rectory going up next to the old sixty year old modern Vatican II era Cathedral more centrally located to the center of Knoxville.
Vatican II Era Sacred Heart Cathedral Knoxville
And here is why I used the word shell game for Bishop Kurtz in that the whole thing reminded me of the story I did on Phoenix and the delicate diplomatic long term switching of cathedrals from old urban inner city space from the 1950s and in minority territory to the raging flavor of the month “Rich White Suburb” geographical goal of the Catholic Church in many places in America to replace that old city stuff, that old Vatican II stuff and be on top as a city on a hill in the burbs. (Phoenix's game plan slightly different.)
I have to wonder too with the South involved that the new St. John Neumann Cathedral in Farragut/Knoxville will not be unlike the big plantation house with its colleges and seminaries and nunneries, missionary convents already arrived from Uganda, will receive tithes and adoration from all the brown and Hispanic parishes down the hill and in the valley so to speak.

                                                                                                                                         (Google maps)

A gated Diocese and or Cathedral – I.D. required to enter the segregated whites only house of God?
That art and or religion imitates politics and the GOP goal to loot the national treasury and build economic fortresses and gated white castle communities is not unlike how the Diocese of Knoxville may be going.
I also wonder too that how maybe Bishop Morlino of Madison Wisconsin thwarted in his attempts to outright build a new cathedral or skim funds off for personal (bribes?) and secret Vatican projects, may in fact be making a large diocese loan at this very minute to build a new mega parish in the middle of some cow pie pasture in Wisconsin that one day will be the new Madison Cathedral.
Without transparency, with tax exempt and tax free status, with religious barriers to civil and secular review of the books let alone review by the peasant laity in the obedient ranks, how much money laundering and cash flows and what not rival the teachings of Jesus, discount those teachings into zero and less than zero in the hearts of the RC hierarchy these days?

Etc. Links and Quoted Material:

Rigali also put Stika in charge of Pope John Paul II's visit to St. Louis in 1999. Marti Aboussie was on the St. Louis Board of Alderman at the time and worked closely with Stika on the planning process. "He'll be a good administrator," said Aboussie, "but more importantly, he'll make an excellent bishop without compromising the pastoral skills that made him a great priest." In 2004, Burke named Stika to be the director of the archdiocese's Office of Child and Youth Protection and delegate to the archdiocese's review board and chairman of its Child Safety Committee. "With the exception of proven, admitted or credibly accused pedophiles, there is perhaps no priest in the archdiocese less qualified, in our view, to be a bishop than Richard Stika," the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests said in a statement Monday. "In his dealings with child sex abuse and cover up cases here, he has repeatedly shown a penchant for secrecy, reckless and half-truths."

Donovan v. Dan Murphy Foundation (2012) 204 Cal.App.4th 1500.  A former director of a non-profit charitable organization sued the organization and its current directors alleging that he was wrongfully removed after he had raised concerns about financial oversight and governance.

2   Roupp and Rewinski were elected as directors after Donovan was removed from the board of directors of the Foundation (Board).

According to the complaint, Donovan first began expressing his concerns in 2008, after the Foundation’s assets had dropped approximately $65 million in value from the previous valuation of $250 million. Donovan’s concerns were shared by two of the seven directors at that time, Julia Schwartz and Rosemary E. Donohue, but were rejected by three other directors, Edward Landry, Richard Grant, and Maria Grant.

The complaint detailed Donovan’s disputes with his fellow directors. First, during a proposed transfer of management of the Foundation’s assets, Donovan sought a review of the transfer by the full Board. Landry and Richard Grant opposed Donovan’s request, and the management of the Foundation’s assets was transferred without a review by the Board. Second, Donovan “demanded” that the Board exercise its responsibilities under the Probate Code to oversee the management of the Foundation’s assets.

Cardinal Rigali Under Boss Monsignor Lynn Found Guilty in Philly

Monsignor William Lynn and Cardinal Justin "Big Frank" Rigali

Monsignor Lynn, under boss of the Cardinals Rigali and Bevilacqua regimes, has been found guilty of the charge of Child Endangerment in the Philadelphia Archdiocese Child Abuse Trial.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-18560069

Prosecutors alleged that Lynn, who supervised hundreds of priests, helped cover-up child sex abuse, often by transferring priests to new parishes.
He is now the highest-ranking US Roman Catholic official convicted in connection in a wider scandal.
Child sex abuse cases across Roman Catholic churches in the US have cost billions in settlements, driving some US dioceses into bankruptcy.
The jury deliberated for 13 days but was unable to deliver a verdict against a co-defendant, Rev James Brennan, accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy....
As secretary for clergy from 1992 to 2004, Lynn was in charge of supervising about 800 priests in the Philadelphia archdiocese, including investigating sex abuse claims.
Lynn told parishes with suspected predators that their priests were being removed for health reasons and then sent the men to unsuspecting churches, prosecutors said.
Defence lawyers argued that Lynn alone tried to document the complaints, to get priests into treatment and to alert higher Church officials to the growing crisis.
Central to but physically absent from the case was Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua, who ran the archdiocese.

Tornay and Estermann – Victims of Papal Politics and Abuses of Power? – Opus Dei

Cedric Tornay's Medal

Considering my timeline piece and the possible real connection of John Paul IIs rehabilitation of Cardinal Rigali back into JPIIs power circle, the response tells me that there is a worldwide hunger to find out about the possible faked “suiciding” of Cedric Tornay, the Swiss Guard scapegoat caught up in the greater politics of Free Masonry and Opus Dei within the ranks of the little people in the Vatican surrounding the Papal Monarchy.

One thing begins to emerge from reading.  That many young professionals are recruited by secret organizations such as the P2 Italian Masons and Opus Dei to spy on their superiors. They are often asked by important clerics such as bishops and cardinals to do this in the name of some greater glory of faith.  The truth is that pawns in these spying operations get rewarded with promotions or murdered or even arrested like the pope’s butler Paolo Gabriele, himself a member of the Communion and Liberation Catholic cult that surrounds the pope much like the late paranoid American billionaire Howard Hughes surrounded himself only with an army of Mormon bodyguards.

The power brokers are spying on each other in the Vatican in order to perpetuate power in the next papal election.  It is important that the next election delivers the right results.  Otherwise a lot of cronies backing the wrong horse will have to pay back a lot of Vatican Bank interest free loans on day one of a new hostile papacy of some other party.

Considering how Cardinal Rigali got rehabilitated and is now still actively serving on committees in the Vatican, the death of Alois Estermann, his wife, and Cedric Tornay is an important example of power politics played out in the lives of many, many victims, not unlike two million abused Catholic children over the last fifty years within the RCC.

And if you look at Rigali’s protégés, Monsignor Lynn of Philadelphia Child Endangerment fame, Opus Dei Bishop Finn in Kansas City and Predophile Bribe/Bonus payer Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York City in this one big Circle Jerk of power and abuse of power in the RCC, you see how unstable and sad the world has become on the global stage because of the cesspool of power in the Vatican and its extended power games worldwide.

From the Internet on Cedric Tornay:
...Neither version fit for Muguette Baudat. She noticed numerous discrepancies in her son’s last letter to her (released by the Vatican) and concluded the letter was either doctored or a forgery. When Tornay’s body was flown to Switzerland for the final funeral, Baudat literally stole the body from a Swiss morgue to have a second autopsy done by Dr. Thomas Crompecher, professor of forensic medicine at the University of Lausanne. Based on his conclusions, Baudat retained Luc Brossolet and Jacques Verges, the two French lawyers who had defended Slobodan Milosevic before the World Court at the Hague. At a press conference her lawyers released a seventy-five page report that disputed the Vatican’s version of the murders and asked for a new investigation.
Brossolet and Verges claimed the second autopsy contradicted the Vatican’s conclusions on several points. First, Tornay’s service pistol used 9 millimeter bullets, but the exit wound in his skull measured 7 millimeters. Second, Tornay apparently suffered a fracture of a cranium bone, which was not on the bullet’s trajectory. His lungs contained a large amount of blood and saliva which could not have been caused by suicide, but could have been caused by internal bleeding due to blows on the head before he died. Third, the Vatican’s claim that Tornay had an egg-sized tumor in his head (which supported the “fit of madness” conclusion) was contradicted by the second autopsy, which found no tumor. The report also noted that Tornay’s front teeth were broken off, as if a gun had been forced into his mouth. Finally, graphologists and psychologists who examined Tornay’s final letter to his mother have also concluded the letter is a forgery.
Despite these discrepancies, which may or may not be explainable within the Vatican’s or John Follain’s theories of how the murders were committed, the Vatican has thus far refused to reopen the investigation. Baudat’s lawyers are not accredited by the Vatican City State, so they have no standing to be heard. Brossolet and Verges tried to get accreditation, but were told by the president of the Vatican Appellate Court that “The case is closed.“ Baudat and her lawyers appealed to the pope, but there is no indication they have received a reply. It seems the mystery will remain unsolved for the foreseeable future.
Alois Estermann’s predecessor, former Guard Commander Roland Buchs, gave a speech at Tornay’s funeral in Switzerland that Cardinal Sodano refused to allow him to say at the Vatican funeral. After noting that Tornay was well regarded by his fellow guards, and that “his first step as a young adult was to put himself at the service of the Church,” Buchs strayed from the Vatican story line even further by saying:
”His act remains mysterious. Who can understand his last gesture? At this tragic time, may ’whys’ and ’wherefores’ remain in suspense…many questions remain unanswered. I think that God knows the real truth, and the precise reasons behind this tragedy.
The last words will be given to Cedric Tornay’s mother. After attending her son’s funeral in Rome she remarked, “It struck me that the Vatican smelled of death.”
