Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, LCMS, begging for crumbs at the Catholic/Mormon table - 2012

Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, President of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)’s bragging rights and admission to the discriminatory, and some, myself, might call the Hate Table of present evangelical American Christianity merged in secret PACs of the RCs with the Mormon Pagan Cult and the fanatical far right politicos is some strange ride for first termer President Harrison up for re-election in 2013.

Of course the LCMS is highly thought of in the RC hierarchy circles for its strict conservative view of Scriptures.  Harrison’s tenure has seen immediate downsizing and outsourcing of the corporate headquarters in St. Louis to displace hundreds of employees.  One wonders how the State of India or the People’s Republic of China will serve in practical function of the outsourcing of Sacraments to save a buck under “Tea Party Matt”.

The saving view of a dying institution like the RC church in Europe and North America is to downsize on people and expenses in the hope that the middle ages will return in the global world view in the future.  The LCMS has taken this survivalist; take no prisoners approach in defending the Bible as literal and jumping into bed, figuratively of course, with the USCCB United States Conference of Catholic Bishops on all political matters with Matt Harrison at the helm of the leaky LCMS rudderless boat.

The landmark Hosanna Tabor case handed down by a unanimous Catholic dominated U.S. Supreme Court stands by “ministerial exception” or “ministerial” Privilege alongside outmoded concepts like Chattel voting rights and people as property in the original U.S. Constitution.  Bravo Matt, enjoy the fruits of your labor at the Catholic feast table against human rights in favor of religious liberty to discriminate against all non-Catholic/Missouri Synod members and non-members within your religious bubble world.  And let's not forget the religious freedom to the feeding frenzy on all your elderly members, their assets and bequests.

The LCMS is at odds with it falling memberships against the larger more progressive ELCA, Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, with its more open interpretation of Scripture but sticking to basics.  Even with that, female ordination or monogamous gay ordination are within the boundaries of the ELCA message of Jesus that has its roots going back to tolerant Quaker Philadelphia in mid-eighteenth century America.

LCMS, enjoy the temporary merger in the 2012 election year with the Papes and the Joseph Smith-ers. And don’t yell rape in 2013 when the crumbs the Catholics and the Mormons sweep your way today are not enough to sustain your dying religious base into the future.

Have a nice day.

Dr. Matthew Harrison LCMS’ Penis is so Small…

…he has to sit next to Bishop Lori on Capitol Hill to feel like a really big guy.
Gosh Matt, you don’t have to sit next to a RC Princess to get a hard on, just keep preaching your anti-female hate in your Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Churches on Sundays.
Governor Jan Brewer is President of the Matt Harrison Fan Club and falls on every hate filled word that falls from your lips.
“Oh Matt, you are so BIG to me…”  “Love, Jan”

All male expert Capitol Hill panel on female issues
Gov. Jan Brewer signed into law late Friday a bill that bans the state or any local government from using public money to contract with an organization that includes abortions in its services.
The governor’s signature on House Bill 2800 comes on the heels of her approval last month of a bill that bans abortions after 20 weeks.
Brewer signed the measure while speaking at a reception for the Susan B. Anthony List, a group devoted to helping elect anti-abortion officials to public office.
“This is a common-sense law that tightens existing state regulations and closes loopholes in order to ensure that taxpayer dollars are not used to fund abortions, whether directly or indirectly,” Brewer said in a statement. “By signing this measure into law, I stand with the majority of Americans who oppose the use of taxpayer funds for abortion.”

Gov. Jan Brewer’s Vagina is so dry…

…it makes southern Arizona look like a rain forest.
Nothing personal Jan. Just adding a punch line to all the blogs and tweets I see on the Internet that want to metaphorically put their fist up your cunt the same way you Republicans want to put your hands down my pants and up women’s vaginas all across America and claim it has to do with protecting privacy, freedom etc.
What sort of hate letters are you listening to in church on Sundays these days from your religious leader Dr. Matthew Harrison of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod which lists you as an active member on Wikipedia.
Dr. Matthew Harrison’s anti-female anti-contraception testimony on Capitol Hill recently obviously gave you a hard on in your Arizona campaign against all non-white, non-male humanity?
It is just that your hate campaign against brown people and females kinda sucks! You Suck Jan and Matt too!

Don’t call me a “Christian” anymore!

Beards for the Military Industrial Complex

This blog has evolved.  I have evolved.

I am told and I am witnessing the fact that my old label “This Cultural Christian” does not market well.  People under 40 are turned off by all things labeled “Christian” these days.

The Christian Brand has lost most of its luster.

Rather than turn off potential readers I am going for the mystery of “X”.  My descriptive is above.  I state what I am.  I am an agnostic, areligionist, X-tian.

Please do not confuse me with that knuckle dragging Christian Political Party Shit. (GOP)

It has been a forty year process to officially merge the Republicans with all things hypocritical and hiding under the label “Christian”.

Jesus is one thing.  I like Jesus.

I believe in G*d.  Not madison avenue toothpaste sold as G*d.

But this Christ cult thing worshiping Constantine’s army god is not what I believe in.

I think my turning point came this week when the Pagan majority Supreme Court said it was okay to hate blacks and gays and women and others, especially the disabled as in this particular court case, if you are a tax free church and you don’t want to hire them or you just want to fire ‘em.
-
What would Jesus do in a situation like the above  Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison of the LCMS?
-
Tell the gimp to go fuck off? I don't think so!

If you look at those dumb Marines pissing on some dumb slob Muslims in Afghanistan, those Marines are nothing more than a beard for the MIC – Military Industrial Complex.  Are they Christian? You betcha.

Death and Profits are all that Christianity seems to represent these days on the worlds' markets.

There is more God in my pet rock than these political hacks masquerading as religions these days.

If Stephen Colbert can run for President, I want tax free status for my pet rock religion and the right to diss anybody I want scot-free.

MY PET ROCK is the ONE TRUE PET ROCK!

Contributions greatly accepted for your Pet Rock Salvation. Guaranteed. Etc. LOL

I have some hope for some of those mainstream “Christians” that still operate in intelligence like the Lutheran, Anglicans etc.  Some – not much.

Christianity is a dying religion.  It is perhaps already a corpse in some places (like Italy) and merely being propped up by some dusty empty buildings.

But the ignorant Pagans, Roman Church and the Literalists, Fundamentalists, those who worship the words in a book and do not know how to think or consider those words, well, what the world sees is the insane American Government as it stands to the nations, a “Christian” country. It is of late just a waste of any real people’s time, the Christian part that is, to that world.

I want my America.  I want my country back from these religious fanatics and Christians.

I humbly remain This Cultural Xtian.

Have a nice day.

Catholic United States Supreme Court Protects Religion Bigotry Entitlement over mere Secular Human Rights

SCOTUS Approved Workplace Rules?

The hack elitist US Supreme Court, run under the skirts of the Vatican, with its Catholic majority is out of touch of every day workers reality.

If a church has employees, if they pay taxes to the state, social security, Medicare taxes etc., do these employees have to surrender their human rights to sue under secular laws like in this case because their employers claim a connection to the great mafia godfather in the sky?

Ignorance and injustice is somehow grandfathered in the law if it is connected to the mythical grandfather in the sky?

Ignorance. Injustice. Fantasy. Delusion. – The U.S. Supreme Court

WASHINGTON — In a groundbreaking case, the Supreme Court today held for the first time that religious employees of a church cannot sue for employment discrimination.

But the court’s unanimous decision in a case from Michigan did not specify the distinction between a secular employee, who can take advantage of the government’s protection from discrimination and retaliation, and a religious employee, who can’t.

It was, nevertheless, the first time the high court has acknowledged the existence of a “ministerial exception” to anti-discrimination laws — a doctrine developed in lower court rulings. This doctrine says the First Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of religion shields churches and their operations from the reach of such protective laws when the issue involves employees of these institutions.

The case came before the court because the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued the Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church and School of Redford on behalf of employee Cheryl Perich, over her firing, which happened after she complained of discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Arizona Cracker Law HB2281

I used to stand and wait for a bus to go to work near a cemetery on Oracle Rd. in Tucson. I would be standing something like thirty feet from a huge granite tombstone of the infamous local financier Sam Hughes who orchestrated and paid for the Camp Grant Massacre in 1871.

Camp Grant Massacre

The tombstone is still there but the man is long forgotten. “The evil that men do lives after them.” The massacre deserves to live on in “ethnic studies” courses in Tucson that cracker Governor Brewer and the hack white Arizona legislature have banned in HB2281. Too Bad.

Arizona Legislature Passes Bill That Outlaws 'Ethnic Studies' (HB2281)

The new Arizona law:
“Prohibits a school district or charter school from including in its program of instruction any courses or classes that:

Promote the overthrow of the United States government.

Promote resentment toward a race or class of people.

Are designed primarily for pupils of a particular ethnic group.

Advocate ethnic solidarity instead of the treatment of pupils as individuals.”
The target is Tucson, T.U.S.D., Tucson United School District, and the one progressive end of that state.

The first provision to not promote the overthrow of the U.S. Government is a dead give away about the paranoia of a dying white majority to deny the rights of ethnics claiming their heritage through the honest study of history.

Jan Brewer will do anything, say anything, sign anything to get reelected this year.

Wikipedia has Governor Brewer listed as a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

I have looked through the internet to find comment of the LCMS on the recent racist SB1070 Arizona Immigration “show me your papers” law. No comment. A shrug perhaps. And they wonder why they can’t fill pews these days.

It is too early for that “moral” comment perhaps on this scraping of history from the history books - as is now law in this new White Only History - Arizona law. Is silence tacit agreement?

Dressing for Success in the Religious Business

Pope Paul VI was the last pope to have an official triple crown Tiara made. The symbol for hundreds of years claiming some divine right to rule all of Christendom was more or less relinquished after Vatican II in the hopes of uniting or more closely bonding the Christian belief systems since the two major schisms of the ages – the one with the east with the Orthodox church and the one of the Protestant Reformation.

The first photo is of Paul VI’s last tiara that is never worn anymore but is probably in some vault in the Vatican. I saw that Tiara many years ago in the late sixties when it was on display in a bank lobby in Philadelphia making a world tour of sorts. So much of the promise of change from within the RCC was in the air shortly after Vatican II. Whatever happened to that spirit of change?

A bunch of lower level clerics who attended Vatican II mostly as administrative assistants to bishops have risen in the ranks over the years and seem to want to negate Vatican II both in style and substance.

Benedict XVI was gone back to the medieval practice of wearing ermine fur in the winter with his costume. Not very egalitarian or populist. Definitely medieval. The second photo is of Benedict wrapped in gold cloth.

We should also remember that it was backward looking John Paul II that insisted that wearng modern pants, jacket and collar were to be discontinued by priests in favor of the black cassock. A dress instead of pants so to speak.

The young Turks from Vatican II want to forget Vatican II. Thank God for the present meltdown of management in the Vatican at present. There is hope of a reformation of sorts at the Vatican still possible in the future.

When the President of a modern religion business such as the bishop of Rome wants to be in style in the future, he or she might consider the modern dress of say another President of a religion business, say that of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

The next two photos are of President Gerald B. Kieschnick LCMS in both his every day black business suit with collar and his official church service garb sans the gold cloth.

President Kieschnick is up for re-election as President of that business and running a distant second to his opponent at the moment before this summer’s convention and elections.

Something to think about and consider when you have tiaras, gold cloth, corruption and sex scandals going on now in Rome.
