Sarah Palin a Million Dollar Petty Cash Campaign Expense for Donald Trump?

Soccer mom, Momma bear, Sarah Palin dropped her falling down-drunk kids in Wasilla to perform on stage for Donald Trump in one of the weirdest performance of her failing career as "hostess" to the men of the GOP ruling circle.

North American Intervention Needed? – A-Rod, Bieber, Ford, Grimm

This is a rather tight around Toronto, (Canada, that other nearby place), and New York kind of intervention.

I am doing it in reaction to my own ranting and raving about these Media Idol Idiots. All of whom seem to be addicted to one sort of drug(s) or another.

That I was taken back by the remarks of an Internet “friend” that suggested that U.S. Congressman Michael Grimm’s threats to a media reporter were more likely attributable to that of the use of drugs / steroids, that of a “roid on a rage”, than that of any homophobic energy.

That these idiots, A-Rod, Bieber, Ford, Grimm are in desperate need of an Intervention.

That I dare mention this forbidden topic?

Closeted Liberal Tourettes Police Chief Mark Kessler of Gilberton Pennsylvania is begging for an intervention regarding his buttled up emotions and such…

Gilberton Pennsylvania

Gilberton Pennsylvania is one of those far too many rotten boroughs in that state and in Schuylkill County Pa.

Gilberton is one reason why political analyst James Carville describes Pennsylvania as Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between.

Local police chief Mark Kessler of Gilberton Pa. (population last census 765 “people”) is apparently upset that Homeland Security sends Gilberton hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition along with other technical stuff to find “Terrorists”.

But the ammunition and weapons and spying devices come with instructions that he is supposed to read.

Fuk the gubmint man!

How do you spell functional illiberate?  How do you spell librul (sailor)? LOL

Time for an Intervention in the Church?

Rosanne Barr, a well known comedian, has chimed in on the abuse scandal in the RC Church. She sees a plot against Gays. And a Critical Silence about the numbers in abuse regarding girls.

The RC church’s dictionary definition of pedophiles identifies them as homosexual. It would not be the first time that the church uses scapegoats such as Gays or Jews to get over a rough spot in their mismanagement by the hierarchy.

Barr Wades Into Catholic Church Abuse Scandal
In a post on her official website, she writes, "The pedo (pedophile) priests are trying to cover up the number of Little Girls they have molested too, as if that doesn't matter as much as what happens to boys. Trust me, the number of girls raped and molested by priests is at least double the boys. They are trying to cover it all up so that they can end up purging gay priests, and laying the blame on them.

"The fact is pedos like to rape both boys and girls, and only a small number of pedos are exclusively into male children.

I am starting to think that any parent who takes their kids to Catholic churches from now on should lose custody.

Taking your kid where you know sex offenders hang out is inexcusable!!!"
Interesting point about the almost seeming silence of abuse about girls.

There is also a very interesting note of non-denial – yes I said non-denial - from a RC archbishop regarding the present crisis in the church.

The image of the Catholic Church
"We have betrayed the very Gospel we preach. The Good News we claim to announce sounds so hollow, so devoid of any meaning when matched with our much publicized negative moral behaviour. Many who looked up to priests as their model feel betrayed, ashamed and disappointed. They feel that some priests have "slipped away from the footprints of the Apostles." Trust has been compromised. The halo has been tilted, if not broken. What happens in Ireland or in Germany or America affects us all. It simply means that the misbehaviour of priests in Africa has not been exposed to the same glare of the media as in other parts of the world.

"We must therefore take responsibility for the hurt, the scandals, the pain and the suffering caused by ourselves who claim to be models of good behaviour. The image of the Catholic church is virtually in ruins because of the bad behaviour of its priests, wolves wearing sheep's skin, preying on unsuspecting victims, inflicting irreparable harm, and continuing to do so with impunity. We are slowly but surely bent on destroying the church of God by undermining and tearing apart the faith of lay believers. Ironically, priests have become a stumbling block to the promotion of vocations.

"Bad news spreads like wild fire. I wish I could say that there are only a few bad apples. But the outrage around us suggests that there are more than just a few bad apples."
I am quoting a big chunk of Guardian UK editor Andrew Brown’s article on this. I thought the quotation in whole was significant enough to print it in its entirety.

Somewhere between what Rosanne Barr believes and what Archbishop Buti Tlhagale of Johannesburg South Africa has to say and believe – and what you and I believe – I think there is a consensus and forum growing for an Intervention on behalf of the People of God toward the failed management of the RC church.
An intervention is an orchestrated attempt by one, or often many, people (usually family and friends) to get someone to seek professional help with an addiction or some kind of traumatic event or crisis, or other serious problem. Wikipedia
The church needs an Intervention on this matter. The Archbishop has started the process. Maybe it will work it way all the way up from the bottom of the world in South Africa.

The victims have had to deal with this management problem of denial. Denial every step of the way by management along the timeline has brought us to this massive crisis.

It is time for the front office management to own up to poor management past and try to change management style and depth of caring before the company goes under.

That Celibacy Thing - Part Two

Someone sent me an article about a help center for priests in New Mexico in the 1950’s run by a religious order. The center had been started as a treatment center for alcohol abuse and emotional problems. The facility eventually also treated priests involved with sex abuse with children.

The main point of the article was to illustrate how there was an awareness of this heinous crime back then, over half a century ago. Letters and discussions of the topic were circulating among the American church hierarchy. Recommendations, such as not putting a priest back in the setting where he could molest more children, never got made into any formal policy within the hierarchy of the American RC church.

Individual and ambitious bishops apparently did not want to take any meaningful first steps toward revolving this terrible situation. No bishop wants to tell the RC institution or the emperor that management had a problem that it could not solve. Nobody wanted to tell that Emperor that he was not wearing any clothes. Only a few good “yes men” need to apply for the position of bishop.

I recommend that you read it:

Catholic bishops warned in '50s on abusive priests

There was such a large volume of Catholics in those years of the 50’s that a few bad priests got unnoticed on the public side except if you knew the victim etc. The buck had to eventually stop somewhere - and the underlying issue is "celibacy".

Celibacy is not chastity. Celibacy is only an agreement not to marry - and not have legitimate heirs to claims deeds or church property etc. Considering all the legal hassles the church thought it would avoid with this medieval policy of celibacy, I think it may be cheaper in the long run to let priests marry and in a way eliminate some of the reason that these sick bastards, operating under an institutional blind eye, hit on children etc.

Celibacy, besides meaning both celibacy and chastity, no doubt is also a code word of sorts for protecting those who cannot control their sexual needs and appetites. Is it a code word for that “sex topic” thingy? Don’t touch! Bad mojo! Bad juju! How immature!

This passing the buck obviously went on for decades until the numbers in the ranks of the faithful thinned and individual crimes got more notice. This is I believe a worldwide phenomenon. It is only because it is so easy to sue people in the USA that this whole abuse thing spun out of control and fell into the public forum.

The issue(s) under the heading of “Celibacy” must be separated, dissected, discussed and possible solutions recommended and in an open forum of both hierarchy and laity. This RC Celibacy thing needs an intervention. The dysfunctional nature of this present RC corporate culture matter regarding sex interrupts, disrupts and interferes with the energy flow of Christ’s true mission statement for his church.

John Paul II formally dumped this American mess into Cardinal Ratzinger’s lap in 2002 when this American mess blew up in the press. Ratzinger doesn’t understand the scientific life saving benefits of condoms. Both as Cardinal and Pope, Ratzy has not dealt with the problem. It has been swept under the bumpy carpets in the papal apartment waiting for some other pontiff in some other decade to maturely deal with it.

God help the planet and protect us from all failed corporate CEOs!
