Charlie Chaput Gleefully Funds $250,000 Bail For His Favorite Child Endangerment Monsignor Bill Lynn

Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput said in a letter to clergy and parishioners today that helping Lynn come up with $25,000 to post 10 percent of his bail was "both reasonable and just." He said Lynn remains on administrative leave and may not function in public as a priest.

Chaput described the appeals court decision as a matter of legal substance rather than technicalities.

Lynn "presents no danger to anyone," the archbishop wrote. "He poses no flight risk. The funding for his bail has been taken from no parish, school or ministry resources, impacts no ongoing work of the church and will be returned when the terms of bail are completed. Nor does it diminish in any way our determination to root out the possibility of sexual abuse from the life of our local church."

David Clohessy, director of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, said Chaput has refused to "take harsh, clear disciplinary measures against those who hurt or let others hurt kids."

Monsignor Lynn, Clergy Pedophile Enabler, Bribed Out Of Jail? Philadelphia the Most Corrupt Archdiocese in America?

On the one hand your have.
”The Philadelphia archdiocese says it doesn't change its pledge to protect children and remove abusive priests.
And then you have a bunch of typical greasy palmed Pennsylvania judges saying that Monsignor Lynn is not responsible for the welfare of children in the archdiocese. How convenient.

Cake and Eat It Too.

They don't call Charlie - "Chaput The Fixer" for nothing(-$).

Monsignor William Lynn has served 18 months in prison after a jury found he endangered a boy by helping protect a predator-priest. But an appeals court on Thursday overturned the child endangerment conviction, saying Lynn was not legally responsible for the boy's welfare.

Lynn's lawyers hoped the 62-year-old Lynn would go free, but the Superior Court has instead sent the bail issue back to the trial court.
Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams vows to oppose bail and appeal the ruling.

Victims' advocates are outraged by the ruling.

Vatican’s War on the Laity – Scapegoating (Discounting) Humanity

Cries for justice to an unhearing pope.

In the cover up of the growing Vatican banking scandal, the part time consultant, President of the IOR, the Vatican Bank, has been fired because he was not transparent enough to his PR mission statement of transparency.  Poor dear.  Ettore Gotti Tedeschi is not a consecrated clergy type and is fallible and conveniently expendable.  Another lay person bites the dust.

And then there is butler who somehow is the mole that is leaking documents showing the pope and his very poor choice of Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone as his Secretary of State.  Tarcisio is a self-taught expert on child rape and blames the homosexuals for the prevailing pedophilia sacred tradition in holy mother church.

The butler, Paolo Gabriele, is a lay person, fallible and conveniently expendable.

I began to notice this scapegoating of the Laity lately with the American bishops war on Girls Scouts.

I also noticed it when Archbishop Chaput of Philadelphia took great pride in insisting that a female treasurer at 222 N. 17 Street HQ in Philly be made a public scapegoat for embezzlement and writing checks to cover her gambling debts in Atlantic City.  If a priest had been guilty of embezzlement, it would have never been mentioned in public.  After all with the Monsignor Lynn child abuse trial currently going on in Philly, a priest can rape a child, children and never be reprimanded.

Anita Guzzardi, former Philly Archdiocese CFO, is a lay person, fallible and conveniently expendable.

Which brings us to the curious tale of a growing discomfort in the mob of Rome regarding the fate of Emanuela Orlandi, a fifteen year old girl who disappeared in 1983 and whose disappearance is the subject of some rather strange speculation.  Emanuela was the daughter of a Vatican employee who lived within the Vatican Walls and who disappeared on the way to her music lesson outside those walls.

The current meme regarding Emanuela Orlandi is I think a reaction to the citizens without rights living within the Vatican and the callous "we don’t give a shit" about disappeared lay people and or their children by the Vatican police, and their sloppy standard operating police work carrying out the plots and criminal cover ups of the gossipy old queens running the Vatican bureaucracy.

No transparency in faith, banking, police investigation in Vatican City is possible.  Scapegoating Humanity (Laity) welcome.

There is growing resentment of many regarding the blatant corruption of the Vatican absolute monarchy and its war on humanity and or the Laity.

The plot thickens.

Material Witness in Lynn Child Abuse Trial Msgr. Quirk under Protection of Bishop Bransfield in W. Va Diocese – Sanctuary!

You can't touch me. I am in West Virginia.
Sanctuary!!!

Out of state witness Monsignor Michael Quirk is not available per West Virginia judge who does not think that Philly Child Abuse trial has anything to do with West Virginia.  Duh!

According to Blessington, an unnamed West Virginia judge has balked at honoring the district attorney's "material-witness petition" for Msgr. Michael Quirk, one of three church judges who heard the 2008 canonical trial of Brennan on child sex-abuse charges.

Brennan is a defendant in the Philadelphia criminal trial for the rape of a 14-year-old boy in 1996, an assault he has denied.

On trial with Brennan is Msgr. William J. Lynn, who as secretary for clergy of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia from 1992 to 2004 was responsible for investigating allegations of sexual abuse of minors by priests. Lynn is the first church official to be criminally charged with enabling or covering up the allegations.

The prosecution in the trial, now in its fourth week, maintains that the Philadelphia Catholic Church had a long-standing pattern of trying to avoid scandal at the expense of the priests' past or future victims.

As part of the trial, Blessington has said he wants to present testimony from Quirk about Brennan's testimony during the 2008 canonical trial.

Although the canonical trial was in Philadelphia, Quirk is assigned to the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, W.Va., where he is judicial vicar and assistant to Bishop Michael J. Bransfield.

A week ago, prosecutors approached Sarmina at the end of a trial session and asked for her to write asking the West Virginia judge to honor the petition from a Pennsylvania Common Pleas Court.
Although state court subpoenas usually have no effect on other state's courts, they are often honored as a matter of courtesy among judges.

The West Virginia judge has apparently decided that Quirk's testimony would not rise to the level of being a "material witness" and has not honored the petition.
