In all fairness what 73 year old can find Kansas City on a map?

In all fairness what 73 year old can find Kansas City on a map?

Справедливости ради, что 73-летний может найти Канзас-Сити на карте?

Kansas City is in Missouri and not Kansas Comrade Trump.

Канзас-Сити находится в штате Миссури, а не канзасский товарищ Трамп.

His Majesty - King of New York - Timothy Dolan - Obsolete - Irrelevant - Evil Silence of the USCCB on Bobby Finn!

Her Majesty - Chumbawamba Lyrics

Her majesty's a pretty nice girl but she doesn't
have a lot to say Her majesty's a pretty nice girl
but she changes from day to day I wanna tell her
that I love her a lot, but I gotta get a belly
full of wine Her majesty's a pretty nice girl
someday I'm gonna make her mine Oh yeah, someday
I'm gonna make her mine

Her majesty's a pretty nice girl but she never
does a thing for me
Her majesty's a pretty nice

girl but she keeps the worst company All the lords
and the ladies in waiting all crawling in the dirt
like swine
Her majesty's a pretty nice girl but I
hope she's the end of the line Oh yeah, I hope
she's the end of the line

Her majesty's living in a land of curtsies A world
of blue blood and Nazis, yeah

Her majesty's a pretty nice girl but she
ought to call it a day Her majesty's a pretty nice
girl without one good reason to stay I'd like to
take her for a whiskey or two, but I've got a lot
of things to do Her majesty's a throwaway song
just short of a chorus or two Oh yeah, short of a
chorus or two

A world of corgies and inbreeding The royal corpse
is barely breathing

Her majesty's a pretty nice girl with a circus for
a family
Her majesty's a pretty nice girl but
she's stuck with the royal We I'd like to show her
around the center of town but I haven't got a
carpet for her feet Her majesty's a pretty nice
girl but she's pretty much obsolete Oh yeah, she's
pretty much obsolete

Pig Shit Irish! - White Trash American Bishops – in Charge in America? – USCCB

"Silk Lace Irish"? - No! Pig Shit non-registered Missouri sex offender.

When did the American RCC get turned into a fascist arm of the Tea Baggers Party?

When did Chaff Farmers from the Midwest dare to come to the East or West Coast of America and soil the bishops’ chairs in the civilised parts of America?

There are three tiers of Irish BTW – Shanty – Silk Lace (Curtain) – and Pig Shit Irish.

Bishop Robert Finn lets “boys be boys” and let his BFF priest buddy father Ratigan keep his kiddie porn collection of “art” photos of little girls, and Finn only technically got convicted of aiding and abetting or something like that.

In most American States he would now have to be a “Registered Sex Offender”.  Which makes me think that Missouri does not register sex offenders or the wording of the crooked deal cut with Missouri Court officials saves “Silk Lace” Bobby from having to register as a sex offender.

The Vatican is Silent.

The Pig Shit Irish Archbishop of New York, President of the USCCB, is silent.

The pope may not be liable to lawsuits as Finn is not an “employee” in the eyes of the American Courts.

Which makes me think that maybe the World Court should start a case against the Bishop of Rome for aiding and abetting a convicted aiding and abetting child abuser.

Any Catholics in Kansas City that still contribute cash to Finn are obviously part of this criminal empire and are equal aiders and abettors of perversion.

Don’t lower my Shanty Irish status to Pig Shit (guilt by cultural association) just because crooked micks like Finn, Dolan and Burke are in charge of the American RC church!

Matthew Never Threshed Wheat – The Urban Gospels – “Chaff Farmers” – Cookie Cutter RC Bishops

I look at all the Chaff Farmers, American Bishops raised in farmland and the Midwest that now seem to dominate the once great RC dioceses on the East and West Coast of America.

These Chaff Farmer/Clerics, had very few choices handed to them in their youth, their only meal ticket choice in Fly Over Country and or Nowhere USA was to either stay on the farm or to go to a seminary.
I am reminded by a comment elsewhere about all the really Chaff Farmers (my term) coming out of, or by their association with states like Wisconsin and Missouri.
I am reminded of my belief that the original gospels were probably not written by actual witnesses of the historic man and or myth of Jesus.
I am reminded that Jesus probably preached to the rural poor, to farmers, to itinerate day labor of farms, something I think Jesus did at one time or another.
I am reminded that Chaff is the part of the Wheat that is unwholesome and hard to digest and not being all that nutritious.
While the metaphor in the gospel of Matthew about God and or a Son of Man figure separating the wheat from the chaff, the unwanted part and throwing it and or they into fire is a metaphor that negates the idea that the very poor that Jesus preached to, like they had the luxury of wasting part of a food product in the day to day battle of survival.
Matthew 3:12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Even if the chaff is a byproduct, it can be mixed with other animal feed to sustain those animals. It can be put back into the soil as a form of nutrient. It can also be burned but probably on a cold winter’s night in the corner fire place. It is not wasted.
All in all, it fits into what I have previously said about the parable of the mustard seed, a product that something the poor of Palestine knew nothing about.  That up until the twentieth century with mechanized farming, modern transportation and marketing did mustard makes its way onto the middle class tables of the west as a cheap condiment.

Indeed, I feel certain that the Jesus-y feel of the mustard seed parable has an overlaying stink of an urban scholar that knows all the aspects of primitive botany from books and also commodity profits of an earthy sounding farm product that Jesus must have had knowledge of, but probably did not.

In fact, in one of the synoptic passages, the mustard seed parable is preceded by a parable of weeds among wheat. While an urban dweller who wrote this mustard seed parable might stick his nose up at weeds, many weeds are indeed edible and the poor, the starving unentitled poor, Jesus’ poor, would have gathered up many of those weeds separated eventually from the wheat and ate them. Survival makes more sense than urban vested scholarship in the early church’s reconstruction of a holy man who few if any recorded any details about.

Not only eat the weeds, but dry the ones that were not edible and use them as fuel, not burn them up foolishly like waste in an urban middle class garden.

Which puts perhaps puts me at odds with the term Chaff Farmers. But in their case they seem to me of late a waste product interfering in politics and not understanding the delicate nature of the fabric of democracy.

Indeed, for this modern crop of yokels, wearing thousands of dollars of silk robes they read rules out of a rulebook not unlike a Pennsylvania State Trooper on the Pennsylvania Turnpike but with less enthusiasm than the Trooper.

A cookie cutter class of cleric but one that are uniform in shape of their training and non-outlook in life, in their total lack of heart, since they only serve a kingdom not of this world, which might fool some unless they got to see the real balance sheet of the Vatican Bank.

God is not in a rulebook. Not 613 rules of the Torah or 613 odd pages of catechism. A richly dressed class of hypocritical Pharisees is still just a richly bunch of Pharisees in any time, place or culture.

Chaff yes. To be thrown out into fire? Useful? Hardly.

Moral? (rhetorical question) (more like a punch line) LOL

Have a nice day.

What is Romney Ryan's Position on "Legitimate" Rape as a Means of Birth Control?

Rep. Paul Ryan with fellow anti-choice Rep.Todd Akin

Senate candidate Todd Akin from the second district in Missouri, the show me state, assures voters in his senatorial campaign that any pregnant "rape" victims are whores and liars.

"Legitimate Rape" prevents  "legitimate rape" victims from getting pregnant because a good girl's body juices will reject the rapist's sperm. It is all very scientific he says. So he must know what he is talking bout.

Paul Ryan, also against Abortion, probably agrees with fellow house member Todd pictured above.

Akin said that even in the worst-case scenario — when the supposed natural protections against unwanted pregnancy fail — abortion should still not be a legal option for the rape victim.
“Let’s assume that maybe that didn’t work, or something,” Akin said. “I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be on the rapist and not attacking the child.”

Finn-Ratigan – That Kumbaya Moment – Wash.,DC 2007

You must all already know about this.  Right?

Perhaps more than the alleged kiddie porn that got conveniently lost on Father Shawn Ratigan’s laptop, the one the boot licking stooges at the Chancery gave to Ratigan’s relatives in the hopes of the destruction of evidence -

perhaps there was a photo or two of that KUMBAYA moment in 2007, when Shawn and Bobby were just one of the kids -

on a bus trip to the January 22, 2007 Pro-Life March in Washington DC, with 40 elementary and highschool students on a 60 hour round trip moment.

A Kodak moment lost!  Kumbaya!

Can’t stick to your bus buddy – can ya?  Loyalty to Ratigan, an adherent to all the uber-conservative causes that bishops these days have to stick to in order to get chosen, made, into the old boy’s club.

”The fact that they have more than a passing relationship could well indicate that after lewd photos of young girls were found in Ratigan’s laptop computer, Finn was loath to turn in a priest whom he knew quite well and who shared his pro-life stance. That’s been my conviction ever since Mike Rice, a former KC Star reporter, wrote a comment on this blog May 20, saying that he knew of people who had stopped attending Mass at Ratigan’s Northland parish because of his conservative ideology.
Regarding the Finn-Ratigan relationship, Morris and Rice dug up records revealing that in January 2007, Finn joined Ratigan and 40 high school students from St. Joseph for a bus ride to Washington, D.C., for the annual March for Life rally.”

CEO Finn Broke the Rules – Ignored Safeguards in Place – Protected Ratigan – Did Not Care (about the children)

Former diocesan advocate criticizes failed system in KC

Nov. 08, 2011

By Joshua J. McElwee

Accountability

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- "This diocese is in desperate need of healing, and I do not believe that can happen until Bishop [Robert] Finn is held accountable” for his mishandling of clergy sexual misconduct cases, a former victims' advocate for the diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, Mo., said today.

Mercy Sr. Jeanne Christensen, who served as the diocesan victims' advocate from 2000-2004, spoke at a press conference hosted by the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests this afternoon.

Christensen is thought to be the first former diocesan advocate to publicly criticize her diocese over its response to allegations of abuse, according to SNAP members.

Finn and the diocese have been criminally charged with failing to protect children from abuse.

Christensen said Finn did not use diocesan procedures to investigate allegations against Fr. Shawn Ratigan, a diocesan priest arrested in May for possession of child pornography. The diocesan victims' advocate, the immediate response team, and the independent review board, she said, "were in place but not utilized."

"By not doing so, children were placed at risk and were victimized," said Christensen. "This must never happen again."

Allegations of mishandling of clergy sexual misconduct cases have roiled the Catholic church here over recent months. A local prosecutor announced separate charges Oct. 14 against both the diocese and Finn for failing to report suspected child abuse.

The flashpoint has been the response of the diocese to the child pornography case of a local priest. Images of naked children were found on the computer of Fr. Shawn Ratigan in December last year. The Kansas City-St. Joseph diocese learned about the images and removed Ratigan from his parish, but did not report the incident to authorities until May.

While Christensen said in a telephone interview today that "it's not for me to judge" how Finn might be held responsible, the former advocate suggested others in the hierarchy should ask the bishop to resign.

"Whoever is responsible within the church hierarchy needs to say to Bishop Finn, you're not going to be bishop in Kansas City," she said.

That suggestion by members of the hierarchy, Christensen said, should come about in order to help the Kansas City diocese try to heal.

"[Finn] didn’t do what should have been done, and, quite frankly, he's lost credibility with a lot of people," she said. "A lot of people no longer trust him. How are we going to heal our church in that situation? How do we heal in the diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph?"

During the press conference, SNAP also announced a new lawsuit against Fr. Michael Tierney, a diocesan priest who has been the focus of several other lawsuits accusing him of abusing children in the 1970s. Tierney was removed from active ministry in the diocese June 2 after the independent review board met with a person accusing Tierney of abuse and found their testimony credible.

The diocesan spokesperson, Rebecca Summers, said she did not have any immediate comment on Christensen's remarks as the diocese had not been made aware of the press conference or the new suit against Tierney.

SNAP, Summers said, often does not inform the diocese of its press conferences and the diocese "usually doesn't know anything about what the specifics are until someone brings us the suit or let's us know what is going on."

At the press conference, Christensen said she also felt compelled to speak because her experience working as the diocesan advocate gave her a sense of the "anguish caused by abuse." During her time at the diocese under retired Bishop Raymond Boland, who was replaced by Finn in 2005, Christensen said she heard the stories of some 40 victims of abuse.

"I speak because I cannot remain silent but must speak in support of the victim survivors of abuse, for their families and especially for those who are unable or too afraid to speak themselves," she said.

"I urge others to speak out too because we must speak and act for the protection of all children -- so that no more children ever suffer abuse at the hands of the clergy."

After leaving her role as the victims' advocate for the diocese, Christensen continued to serve in the diocesan peace and justice office until 2006.

The charges against the diocese and Finn came from Jackson County, Mo., where the diocesan chancery is located. Ratigan is in jail on charges filed in neighboring Clay County, Mo., where his last parish is located.

Media reports have indicated that a grand jury in that Clay County is also investigating the diocese's response in the case, and has heard testimony from Finn and vicar general Msgr. Robert Murphy.

A federal grand jury charged Ratigan in August with 13 counts of production, attempted production and possession of child pornography.

No matter what happens next in the diocese, Christensen said in the interview her focus is on why the appropriate diocesan procedures for reporting abuse were not followed, and whether children could have been put in danger.

The fact that the advocate, the response team, and the review board were not notified, she said, "is a travesty."

"They were there. There's no reason for those children to have been put at risk."
