New Zealand Don't Want No Rich White Trash From America

A while back I remember the news how New Zealand did not want former NBC Today Show Matt Lauer host to buy a ranch in that country. That the country relented and let him buy it. I thought maybe they did not want him to show his penis to little girls in New Zealand like he used to do on the set of the Today Show.

But alas now New Zealand does not want foreigners to buy land and develop it and commodize the countryside and generally fuck things up in general for the little guy in that country, the way they have fucked up the housing market here where the working class cannot afford artificial commodized housing prices to supports banks and generally fat lazy white men in the 99%. Not that Matt or his penis is that fat.

Well good to New Zealand to keeping the disease of fat lazy rich men worldwide and their buying up nature and making a quick buck off the labor of others - keeping that greed disease at a beautiful distance.

Thanks Matt. Your example and penis were finally good for something.

Todd Akin – The Mind of a Serial Rapist? – GOP = Angry White Man’s Party

Representative Todd Akin’s 13^th century wives’ tale about “Legitimate Rape” being good birth control up there with abstinence and wishful thinking makes me wonder what sort of cocoon this man has been living in all these decades.

 

It makes me wonder what kind of mind, a delusional mind, minds that surround him in the Angry White Man’s Party in Congress aka the GOP.

And you have this young guy Paul Ryan standing next to Todd Akin and sponsoring legislation that defines “forcible rape” and you know Paul has never had an original thought in his entire life. All his life he has poll parroted the official Party Line of the Angry White Man’s Party and gotten handsomely rewarded for it in politics.  

The only black men I imagine Paul Ryan has even seen, being from pure white Nordic Wisconsin, are the security guards in the Capitol. (Or when he is so resentfully in the Oval Office?) I doubt he has ever even said a “Hi, how are you?” to those guards, that wage slave servant class of the Congress. 

So, in a way the definitions of rape that so easily roll off the lips of Todd Akin are the words of complete and total ignorance or they are the words from the mind of a serial rapist? Or of a long standing serial rapist mentality as part of some subculture? Not that Todd has ever raped anyone that we know of.  But one has to wonder the way he treats women verbally, he must have learned at an early age that women were automatically inferior to himself based solely on the fact that he was born with the first class unquestionable male entitlement of a penis.

A culture of (male owned) property entitlement and not people entitlement is what America is currently all about I think.

And I have to say, I am tired of all the outrageous coded talk of the Angry White Man’s Party and the kkkristian fundamentalists who spend 110% of the time talking about nothing useful for the economy or the day to day life in any American community.

I realize of late that so many men in American Politics of the GOP are reitierating the same shit their father said, their grandfathers said, their great grandfathers said etc.

The stupid utterances of Todd Akin went global.  They are talking about that ignorant man and base level, corrupted level, of human sexuality framed in eternal superstition and ignorance in America.  They are talking about this in Africa and even undemocratic China.

The GOP of course is denying complicity in the Serial Rapist mentality of so many in the Angry White Man’s Party AWMP and for Todd Akin letting the cat out of the bag so to speak that excuses most rape within the realm of white male entitlement.  

The rest of us are supposed to live with these, their bizarre outrageous lies about human sexuality.

And in a way, the Southern Strategy of Richard Nixon and raising the South and its mongrel culture of religion, guns and rape (male entitlement) to the forefront of American Culture is what we have to live with at this moment in time until a lot of these Angry White Males die off and the rest of us can get on with living a diverse tolerant life together as a nation.

I do not think that Rep. Akin left the cat out of the bag last week so much as he metaphorically published pictures (lightbulbs went on ! across America in a visual brain epiphany) of the secret room out behind the barn where Massa Todd secretly (in his mind at least) rapes his slaves, both male and female or was it that his great great grandfather did such in the good old days before the Civil War. And the sins of the father are troubled upon the generations to come in any family.

Union (of Marriage) Certificate

When did we surrender so many rights to the state?

In the case of civil marriage by a Justice of the Peace or by a clerk in city hall, this is secular territory, whereby the civil authority by default, goes into the marriage business.

The ancient Egyptians had a house warming party for a couple moving in together – no ceremony- just house useful gifts – pots, pans, linens – and a party.

The Church married royalty. The peasants lived together. Marriage as a written contract has always had to deal with property.

In modern times, marriage has become the property contract and not the vow document of two joining together in love.

Indeed, in Pennsylvania, the family court system is still called Orphan’s Court. Family court is more like divorce court or a referee place to break up a contested marriage with children involved.

The idea of legitimate or illegitimate children is really referring to first right, legitimate property rights to parents under property contract or “marriage”.

With the religious right trying to impose religious standards in a civil secular setting such as civil recognition of unions is rather bizarre.

Marriage is what you make of it. No wonder so many people live together these days and children are born out of wedlock – no official marriage property documents.

If you don’t have property or children there is no need for marriage or property contracts.

Property Contracts are essentially what civil union or the like is about and has been suggested as the realistic path for same-sex unions. A civil union is a civil (property) contract. All the hoopla in the “gay marriage” thing is about the word Marriage.

Marriage is definable many ways. The religious meaning is lost to me. Since Jesus never bothered to marry or bother to mention it, I guess it was not on a top ten list of priorities in his ministry for social justice. The RC church says that marriage is a sacrament in that Jesus went to a wedding feast, got real thirsty for the drink, and made more – a miracle perhaps but I still do not see the connection to marriage. The only time or reason people in the stone age got together was for weddings or funerals.

Getting back to simplicity in days of yore, if you married in a church, you took vows in front of your common community. Your common community were your relatives and a few unrelated relatives in a farming community. Everybody knew you were married to one person and everybody knew that you were the parents of your children. No need for marriage certificates and registration through city hall.

I was very impressed seeing something in a museum at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. It was a Quaker marriage certificate framed and hanging on the wall of what I believe was once a Quaker farmhouse. The tour guide explained that since there is no traditional minister in the Quaker faith, the couple being married took their vows to each other and all adults present, male and female, signed as witnesses of this marriage. The document pictured above is one such document.

Would it not be nice if married people today could have a similar document with their vows written out, witnessed and have the document in print version be recorded at the local town hall not unlike a property deed or a will. It would be on public record. It would be a historic document for your descendants.

It is impractical these days with credit ratings, property, spousal health benefits, life insurance to go back to this old fashioned way of recording marriage without any civil authority involved.

Just a thought and sentiment I thought I would share with you.
