Christie’s Dallas Trip a Bribe / Payback for Port Authority Contract Awarded to Cowboys Owner?

No "Shut Up and Sit Down!" to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his cozy little hook up with Port Authority Contract awarder Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey.

Less than two years before Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones paid for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s tickets and travel to NFL games, government documents show Christie personally pushed the Port Authority to approve a lucrative contract for a firm part-owned by Jones. Christie nonetheless accepted the gifts from Jones, despite New Jersey ethics rules barring gifts to public officials from persons or entities that those officials “deal with, contact, or regulate in the course of official business.”

On March 19, 2013, Christie and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a press release announcing their selection of Legends Hospitality LLC to operate the observation deck on the top floor of One World Trade Center. The next day, the Port Authority board -- which is appointed by Christie and Cuomo -- specifically cited the governors’ announcement in voting to approve the contract for the company, which is jointly owned by the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and Checketts Partners Investment Fund.

The Port Authority press release announcing the vote quotes Dallas Cowboys executive Jerry Jones Jr. as saying: "We are humbled to have been chosen to operate the Observatory Deck."

Italian Governors Cuomo (NY) and Christie (NJ) Vow to Protect Corruption and Cronyism at NY-NJ Port Authority

Pro-Corruption I-talian Governors Christie of New Jersey and Andrew Cuomo of New York

The governors of New York and New Jersey, defying the unanimous votes of both their Legislatures, on Saturday rejected a bill aimed at curbing political interference and patronage at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, more than a year after lane closings on the George Washington Bridge set off a scandal that looms over the agency to this day.

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo of New York, a Democrat, announced the veto of the bill just hours before a midnight deadline and in the face of an almost unheard-of bipartisan support.

Because the authority is governed by both New York and New Jersey, approval is needed by both legislatures to make changes in its structure and operations, on Saturday night, the anger at the governors’ rejection of the bill was felt on both sides of the Hudson River.

“It’s appalling and disappointing,” said Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle, a Democrat of Bergen County, N.J., who sponsored the bill in Trenton. “Today’s actions clearly demonstrate both governors want to continue the same old scandalous problems at the Port Authority.”

Port Authority Corruption Spreads Into Politics Like a Cancer - New Jersey and New York

It becomes apparent how Chris Christie's Vendettas are possible with a powerful arm of the Corruption of the Port Authority of New Jersey and New York. The PA has an annual budget greater than that of 26 states.

That $13 bridge tolls on the GW Bridge or the Verrazano pays for $4 billion World Trade Center Tower One that was used to celebrate the promotion of Cardianl Dolan by being lit up red when the Empire State Building refused to spend the money on the celebration of a religious leader.

That if you look at Christie and Cuomo as Catholic Princes, the money spent, wasted in the billions is spread around like in a rich private men's club, not unlike a bunch of Cardinals Princes above the laws of America.

Lower the bridge tolls. These bridges were paid for decades ago.

Why is the Port Authority a real estate promoter spending, spending, spending taxpayer's hard earned money?
