Occupy Wall Street’s Moral Victory – Defining the Dividing Line of Humanity - the 1% vs the 99% - Birth of Our Global Town Square

I have been reading a lot in the press lately about what ever happened to the Occupy movement.  Quite frankly, it can not go forward on a physical plane until millions rise up and overwhelm the blue shirts and the mercenary armies of the present evil Empire of America.

Occupy’s defining moment was in not seeking a leader but rather a consensus, something that was once the cornerstone, foundation stone of the American Town Square, now in limbo.

The idea of consensus and group solidarity is a reflection of the virtual world now enveloping both our individual and group culture.

Occupy Wall Street in New York City, Liberty / Zuccotti  Park defined the reality of money and capital and its dividing line in the sand between the haves and the have nots.  That imaginary dividing line, that non-verbal definition of reality got put into words.  If you are not part of the 1% then you are part of the rest of us the 99%.

Not a class struggle but a rallying call to make the future better if we know the deal and can push back on the media whore PR and bullshit sent our way to belittle and rob us of the dignity of our humanity born of a divine spark within, the temporary staging area and potential of an eternal soul.

The global town square and the definitions of that global town square defining the consensus of the future united global culture,

- the stone the Wall Street Fat Cat Bankers have rejected, becomes the cornerstone of the future.

A body without a soul is not a person (1%) - it is just a corporation.

A Park without People (99%) is Not a Park mister Zuccotti (1%)

The global town square and the definitions of the foundation materials of that global town square, defining the consensus of the future united global culture

- the stone the Wall Street Fat Cat Bankers have rejected, becomes the cornerstone - of the future.

Keith Olbermann Feud with Al Gore over Occupy Wall Street - Duarte Square - Trinity Church Wall Street?

Trinity Church Property Trespasser Arrested - Duarte Square - Dec.17

Something has not been right on Al Gore’s Current TV since a retired Episcopalian Bishop gave emphasis to the billions of real estate that Trinity Church Wall Street can’t share a small piece of with Occupy Wall Street.

Since the event happened on a weekend in December, and it became a non-story even on Keith Olbermann’s Countdown show.

Has Al Gore folded like Obama to his rich Wall Street Masters?

What’s going on between Keith Olbermann and Current TV?
Olbermann is not covering the Iowa caucus Tuesday night -- and it doesn't look like the decision was his alone.
Earlier Tuesday, Olbermann indicated that his show "Countdown" was returning, but by 7 p.m. ET, he said it was not to be.
“So as not to mislead: I am informed Countdown will not be on tonight," Olbermann tweeted. "I must defer on all questions to @JoelHyatt @AlGore and @Current.”
Instead, Gore is on air alongside his two other prime time hosts, Cenk Uygur and Jennifer Granholm. Current's Chief News Officer and on-air visage is MIA.
Also read: Where Are Keith Olbermann and Glenn Beck?
These mixed signals come amid reports of tension between Olbermann, who has fought his way off networks before, and Current.
As the New York Times’ Brian Stelter wrote last Thursday, Olbermann's involvement in the election so far – or lack thereof – is puzzling. He did not appear in a pair of special reports that followed GOP candidate debates.
“These absences suggest that there may be new tension between Mr. Olbermann and the managers at Current, who are trying to create a progressive-oriented cable news channel,” Stelter wrote.
Olbermann responded with an extended tweet claiming that “anybody who describes my disposition towards Current as "disgruntled" is either uninformed, working from a personal agenda, wrong -- or all of the above.”
But the fact remains that Olbermann is off and his prime time cohorts are in.
Olbermann says he’s back tomorrow, but the real back story is anybody’s guess.

We want our Future back...America! * - Zuccotti Park - Zero Liberty Plaza

I've seen it all - 911 - OWS - the future. ("business dude")

* Historic footnote - stanchaz commented on the blog post Live Blog for #Occupy Movement: Day 59, Occupy Wall Street Camp is Gone - FDL 2011-11-15 09:55:20

They came like thieves in the night…Bloomberg’s Blue Shirts. They robbed us of our rights, and our possessions…while preventing reporters from reporting on the scene. No free press…no free speech. Welcome to NYC. Bloomberg, the self-proclaimed number one defender of free speech (pause for gagging), said in no uncertain terms: “yes, you have the right…..the right to remain silent. So just shut up, and obey”. But this is only the beginning dear Mayor .0001%., not the end. This WILL be your legacy- of repression. But you will NOT succeed. These mayors, governors, city councils, police chiefs, and street cops of America need to realize that it is NOT UP TO THEM whether or not Americans peaceably gather, protest, discuss, or demonstrate. It’s up to a document called the US CONSTITUTION. You can beat us and arrest us and tear-gas us, you can try to “permit” us to death….but you can’t kill an idea. You can’t keep down a people’s hopes and dreams for a better life….for us, and for our kids. America USED to work. The people had work. The system worked (sort of). Hey, EVEN the Congress used to work (sometimes). God knows, it was far, far, far from perfect -but at least we all had some share in the struggles AND the rewards. But somewhere along the way, we lost our way. Because now we have an economy and a political system that seems to work only for the rich. With OWS America has found it’s voice, and that voice demands fairness and justice – for ALL. This land IS our land! AND WE WANT IT BACK! We want our LIVES back! We want our FUTURE back! But it’s much more than just words…. it’s much more than politics….. it’s your freakin’ LIFE, and how you want to live it, and how you WILL live it. Find a quiet place somewhere, and consider this: Each of us has only one brief life….one chance….one roll of the dice….and many choices. The time has come to choose….to risk…and to act. If not now…then when? If not you, then….who? You DO have the power my friend….and the choice IS yours. Don’t let your dreams die….

Bishop George Packard leads Occupy Wall Street into Trinity Church's empty lot - Duarte Square 6th Ave and Canal St. NYC

Trinity Church Wall Street, the second richest church in Christendom outside of St. Peter's in Rome, has the cooperation of the establishment to keep protesters off a tiny spec, portion of its tens of billions of dollars Manhattan Real Estate Portfolio. Duarte Square (triangle) two blocks from the entrance to the Holland Tunnel on the southern edge of Greenwich Village.

There is a battle brewing within the Episcopal Church between the progressives and the conservatives over whether to help the poor or to just sweep the rabble out with the morning trash.  A true microcosm of America today.  The 1% who own the planet and the 99% of the rest of us.

All People = Zero - on all Corporate Spreadsheets* – (People are Obsolete)

* People = Obsolete = Zero (the new global equation)

People = Zero.

People are Obsolete.

Get with the program all you losers at Occupy Wall Street.

Corporations are now the only REAL “Persons” in this world with the only rights.

Thus spake SCOTUS. (Bow your heads oh lowly zeros.)

All other former persons - "people" equal zero on all corporate spreadsheets.

Capitalism trashes humanity.  News at 11.

Humanity is erased from the equation. People = Zero

Zuccotti Park - (Zero) Liberty Plaza NYC – I am a Patriot – Jackson Browne – Occupy Wall Street

Zuccotti Park - Zero Liberty Plaza NYC – that is an Address – the park next to One Liberty Plaza, the corporate capitalist building and diagonal from Ground Zero – World Trade Center, New York, NY.

And the river opens for the righteous (5 times)
Someday

I was walking with my brother
And he wondered what's on my mind
I said what I believe in my soul
Ain't what I see with my eyes
And we can't turn our backs this time
I am a patriot
And I love my county
Because my country is all I know
I want to be with my family
The people who understand me
I've got nowhere else to go

And the river opens for the righteous
And the river opens for the righteous
And the river opens for the righteous
Someday
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/j/jackson+browne/i+am+a+patriot_20068696.html ]
And I was talking with my sister
She looked so fine
I said, "baby, what's on your mind? "
She said, "i want to run like the lion
Released from the cages
Released from the rages
Burning in my heart tonight"

And I ain't no communist
And I ain't no capitalist
And I ain't no socialist
And I ain't no imperialist
And I ain't no democrat
And I ain't no republican
I only know one party
And it is freedom

I am, I am, I am
I am a patriot
And I love my country
Because my county is all I know

And the river opens for the righteous

Parks Should be for People – Liberty, Zuccotti, Whatever

The leaves are turning colors.  I see the leaves are still on the trees in Zuccotti Park on TV.  It is a week before Thanksgiving.  It is time to strip the remaining leaves off those trees and wrap the bare towers of stick in crystal clear tree lights.

It is something the tourist comes to expect in New York for Christmas – that Kodak moment at night – or when you pull out your cell phone and snap a digital image Tourists equate with Hollywood glamour, Disney Land beauty or whatever takes your visual fancy.

The Occupy Wall Street status at this park seems at present to be on temporary hiatus. The movement is only just starting.  Losing this park as a symbolic base perhaps reflects time and energy needed to reorganize, re-strategize, and rethink the moment traveling into future reality.  The future is born from a single seed.

Liberty Plaza Park as I originally knew it has been renamed to Zuccotti Park to pay fitting tribute to the Corporation that owns its.  He actually does not own it; his company does and doesn’t own it.  It is sort of jointly owned with the city.

Zuccotti Park is sort a hybrid mutant creation – the result of blind corporate GREED from the 1920s and hate, ignorance of the environment, fighting a city fit for humans habitation concept.

It all started with 120 Broadway, the Equitable Life Building, built to its maximum ground and air space in the high flying anything goes roaring twenties. If you know anything about that building monstrosity, you cannot walk two people abreast down its side streets of Cedar and Pine.

I find it ironic that the streets in downtown Manhattan with the tree names seemed to be the most forgotten and ugly lanes.

They changed the zoning laws after that or probably more accurately they started to have zoning laws in the permanent eternal, sunshine-less, shade on the ground around 120 Broadway.

So when they built One Liberty Plaza at 165 Broadway in 1973 and they wanted to top it up at 743 ft. (226 m) they had a problem.  The zoning for a building that tall and so close to the Greedy Tower at 120 Broadway, they had to offset some ground space as a public space in order to let the sunlight in at ground levels for a few hours each day next to the corporate skyscraper.

And the added bonus with sunlight, you might even have some trees in that public space.  Do people need sunlight? One Liberty Plaza tower is like one of the ugliest pieces of architectural shit on the downtown landscape with its Omnipresent, Monolithic, and Fascistic presence sucking all oxygen out of the room modern look.

Ta-Dah! Liberty Plaza Park is born around 135 Broadway bordered by Liberty Street and Cedar Street.

This is the first park I knew when I first came to New York in the late seventies.  It wasn’t even finished.  There was one holdout building, Chock Full of Nuts coffee shop, that held out until its lease was up.  Can’t get away with that anymore.  With corporations having the right of eminent domain, Liberty Plaza Park would have been built up at one time instead of the piecemeal way it evolved.

That park had some I believe twenty four trees in it, some metal, painted black benches and Seward Johnson’s sculpture of the Business Dude in his corporate monkey suit reviewing paperwork in his Attaché Case.  Business Dude’s case is open and the 1980’s style Texas Instrument calculator in it is the size of a cigar box.  So much for old technology.

After 911 they cut down the trees in Liberty Plaza Park, all 24 of them, to make way for emergency parking at the World Trade Center site diagonally across the street at Liberty and Church Streets.

Somewhere along the timeline, they restored Liberty Plaza Park, they I think meaning the taxpayers, and renamed it in favor of a man who owns One Liberty Plaza. That kinda reminds me of all these stadiums where taxpayers pay 99% of the cost of the stadiums with municipal bonds and some corporation kicks in 1% and gets its name, free advertising, put onto the structure.  I think the same situation applies at Zuccotti.

Well anyway.  We should be grateful that that put back the trees and call it a park though I think they call it urban sculptural landscaping or such these days. Needs to look like a Hollywood set.  Does not have to be comfortable and it is called a park.

It is also a good thing that they don’t charge us to look at the trees in a city where everything is fees, tolls and fines for the rabble walking or driving around the streets.

Parks should be for people.

Peace. Pax. Joy. Love. Tree.

Screw the Poor and Jesus - St. Paul's Cathedral London

There was that politically correct PC moment when Saint Paul's Cathedral said that Occupy London or Occupy the City (Coke Dealers aka Financial Advisors) - that they let this bunch of protesters camp out on a corner of this third rate architectural monument to Christian ego. (Christopher Wren!!!!- Yawn!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

But the phone calls have come from "the city" as the coke dealers, the secular bishops,  in control of their "Wall Street" there - and it is time to evict the poor, the hippies, the pseudo-Jesus types claiming, talking for the poor and the homeless morons and it time to clean the street and get back to normal business. (don't forget the whores and the Cuban cigars! - a necessary deductible business expense)

The queers in charge of St. Paul's have scurried to comply to their money masters and evict the radicals, the homeless, the Jesus want to be-s.  Whatever.

It is time to tear down Saint Paul's stone by stone, a monument to Christian greed, terror and out of control ego.  While I do not know is if the taste for children is as strong in the Anglican faith as it is in the church of Rome. (irrelevant-overruled)...................................

It is time for the people to turn Saint Paul's into something useful, like a car park as they call it there and or a parking lot as we call it here.

Jesus, the real Jewish Jesus, would approve.

Whatever.

And throw Nelson's bones into the street too, out of his borrowed from Henry VIII coffin while you are at it - etc.

Have a nice day and or a nice British revolution.

:-)

Tear this Cathedral Down!!!!

Herman “Mark of” Cain – GOP Flavor of the Month - Occupy Wall Street

“…Republican presidential contender Herman Cain amplified his criticism of the Occupy Wall Street movement, calling protesters jealous Americans who "play the victim card" and want to "take somebody else’s" namely mys Buick. …”

In other words, FUIGM or FYIGM to be grammatically correct.

Can we call him Herman or just plain Mr. Cain?

the 99 percent – death of the American dream

We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we’re working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.
