Rick Snyder’s plan to invite immigrants with special visas to work in Detroit for five years sounds kind of like a scam or Racist.

Like only people of some sort of color from overseas are capable of living in Detroit. Duh!

And this five year work there is not five year live there.

Like there are no skilled unemployed Americans that would not move there, work there and live there.  Who is going to police the immigrants if their residence is a real building or an empty lot?

Just a GOP scam to get skilled labor to make a pit stop in Detroit on the way the Michigan Burbs and Burb Industrial and Office Parks.

Nothing in it for Detroit except to serve as temporary doormat for big money looking for exploitable labor from overseas.

Under the governor's unique proposal, one-quarter of the nation's 40,000 annual EB-2 visas would be designated for such immigrants willing to live and work for five years in Detroit. 

 "Let's send a message to the entire world: Detroit, Michigan, is open to the world," Snyder said during his news conference, which came a day after he backed plans to commit as much as $350 million in state funds to help shore up Detroit pension funds and prevent the sale of valuable city-owned art. "The opportunities are there." 

 Snyder spokeswoman Sara Wurfel said his administration plans to submit the "groundbreaking" request to the federal government this week if possible.

Suicide Virgin Humper Tries to Blow up Plane in Detroit
