Cheers to Texas - Founder of the Current Chaos in Washington DC.
When Texas voters showed up at the polls on Election Day 2012,
they made an important choice. Slightly more than fifty-six percent of those
participating selected Ted Cruz as the man they wanted to represent their state as their United States Senator.
But how many Texans who pulled the lever for
Cruz believed that what they were really doing was choosing the leader of a small band of
elected officials seeking to destroy the United States government from within
rather than electing someone who would be dedicated to looking out for the
interests of his state in the upper chamber of Congress?
If it was an effective senator Texas was looking for, they clearly chose very
poorly—something Texans have, apparently, now figured out.
