Be safe Mike. This looks like a bad one bearing down on all of us here along the coast. Let me know how things go for you and your family the next few days. You are in my prayers for a good outcome from the storm.
The same to you Dave for you and your family over there on the mainland. Thx.
Two families of our neighbors arrived from Staten Island a few hours ago. Calm here right now but I expect a wild night here in eastern Pa. Good luck.
It just started pouring here. The rain is falling.
6" of water fell..high winds today but we seem to be ok. Delaware River due to flood tomorrow or Tuesday. Some roads closed..trees down and flash floods. Sun came out around 6 pm. Hope you all are ok and dry.
Easton was always a little late on flooding waiting on the Delaware in upstate Pa and NY to meander along. The McDonalds downtown will no doubt be under a few feet of water. We did well here. It is an old neighborhood with big old trees that usually have major branch damage in short powerful storms. No outages, no major flooding and only leaves and sticks on the ground. Stay on high ground. Best of continued good fortune.
