The Young Mother, the 1881 version is in
the Wadsworth Athenaeum Museum in Hartford Conn. The orginal version of The
Young Mother, exhibited at the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition 1876, for
which the artist George Henry Story received a medal, the original version,
whereabouts unknown.
