Mother Jones ran in to a list of a secret handshake members only circle jerk club meeting recently between the Koch Boys (wink, nod) and some of these other Guys (wink, nod) in Palm Springs. LOL

The document lists VIP donors—including John Schnatter, the founder of the Papa John's pizza chain—who were scheduled for one-on-one meetings with representatives of the political, corporate, and philanthropic wings of Kochworld. The one-page document, provided to Mother Jones by a hotel guest who discovered it, offers a fascinating glimpse into the Kochs' political machine and shows how closely intertwined it is with Koch Industries, their $115 billion conglomerate.

The more than 40 donors courted by the Kochs include hedge fund and private-equity billionaires, real estate tycoons, and executives of top corporations, including Jockey International and TRT Holdings, owner of Omni Hotels and Gold's Gym. A number of them have never been identified as members of the Koch donor network, including Schnatter, one of the more prominent names on the list. An outspoken opponent of the Affordable Care Act, he is a longtime Republican donor who hosted a fundraiser for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign. The document notes that the pizza mogul was scheduled to meet with Ryan Stowers, the director of higher education at the Charles G. Koch Foundation. (Schnatter did not respond to requests for comment.)

Ronnie Cameron: He runs agribusiness giant Mountaire Corporation. During a meeting of the Kochs' donor network in 2011, Charles Koch recognized Cameron (and other donors) for donating at least $1 million to their cause.

Charles Chandler: Based in the Kochs' hometown of Wichita, Kansas, Chandler is the CEO of Intrust Bank.

John Childs: He runs the Boston-based private equity firm J.W. Childs & Associates.

Jamie Coulter: Haling from Wichita, Coulter is the former CEO of the Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon restaurant chain.

Bob and Steve Fettig: The Fettigs run the metal fabrication company Tankcraft, based in Darien, Wisconsin. Steve is the company's CFO; Bob is CEO.

Richard and Leslie Gilliam: Richard founded Virginia-based coal mining company Cumberland Resources Corporation, which he sold to Massey Energy for nearly a billion dollars in 2010.

Ken Griffin: A major conservative donor, the Chicago-based businessman founded the hedge fund Citadel and is worth an estimated $4.4 billion.  

John Griffin: He's the founder of Blue Ridge Capital, a New York hedge fund. 

Dick Haworth: He's the chairman emeritus of Holland, Michigan-based office furniture company Haworth.

Richard "Ric" Kayne: He's the founder and chairman of Los Angeles-based investment firm Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors.

Dan Kirby: He's president of Sioux Falls, South Dakota-based Kirby Financial. 

Fred Klipsch: He's the chairman of Klipsch Group, a speaker and headphone manufacturer.

Frank Kozel: He's the principal of Pittsburgh-based Keystone Energy Oil & Gas Inc.

Francis "Franc" Lee: He's the president and CEO of Flowood, Mississippi-based lender First Tower, LLC. 

Robert "Bob" Luddy: He's president of CativeAire Systems Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Hugh Maclellan: He's the executive chairman of Chattanooga, Tennessee's Maclellan Foundation, which make grants to Christian causes. 

Cecil O'Brate: He's the CEO of Garden City, Kansas-based Palmer Manufacturing & Tank.

Verl Purdy: He's the chairman and CEO of Charlotte, North Carolina-based AGDATA Inc.

Tom Rastin: He's a director and vice chairman of the Mount Vernon, Ohio-based Ariel Foundation, started by his wife, Karen Buchwald Wright, the CEO of Ariel Corporation. Rastin is the company's vice president of engineering, sales, and marketing.

George Records: A member of the Hoover Institution's board of overseers, Records is the retired chairman of Oklahoma City's Midland Group. 

Robert Rowling: Ranking No. 93 on the Forbes 400 with an estimated fortune of $4.9 billion, Rowling is the cofounder of TRT Holdings, which owns Gold's Gym and Omni Hotels. 

John Schnatter: He's the founder and CEO of Papa John's International. 

Tina and Craig Snider: They are the children of Ed Snider, a founding contributor of the Ayn Rand Institute and chairman of Comcast Spectacor, a sports and entertainment company that owns the Philadelphia Flyers. 

Dian Stai: Based in Texas, Stai cofounded Owen Healthcare Inc. with her late husband. She's a top conservative donor who gave $125,000 to the pro-Mitt Romney super-PAC Restore Our Future during the 2012 election cycle.

Jim Stephenson: He's the president and CEO of Georgia-based Yancey Bros. Co., "which provides Caterpillar, AGCO, and Blue Bird Bus Co. products and services throughout the state of Georgia." Stephenson is also an Americans for Prosperity board member.

Jim Von Ehr: He's the CEO and founder of Richardson, Texas-based Zyvex Labs. 

Debra Waller: Since 2001, she's been the chairman and CEO of Jockey International Inc. 

Lew Ward: He's the founder of Oklahoma-based Ward Petroleum Corporation. 

Dick Weiss: He's the Core Equity senior portfolio manager at Wells Capital Management.

The UN has called on the Vatican to "immediately remove" all clergy who are known or suspected child abusers.

Woody Allen and All Those Nasty Unmentionable in the Media “Child Abuse” Allegations Come to Light Again

Before some of these “Hollywood Menagerie” families that seem to grab the media attention of modern terms, there was that floating kind of thing over twenty years ago as the “Nuclear” (?) “Extended” Woody Allen – Mia Farrow breakup and or “Marital” meltdown in Manhattan Family Court in the early 1990s.

That people like Madonna raised a social consciousness of poor third world babies worthy of adoption led to others in the Hollywood Hierarchy, notably the Brad Pitt – Angeline Jolie “Marital” alliance with a family of all adopted types of children to make one big “Morphed” family. 

The definitions of Nuclear or Extended Families are stretched or obsolete in modern light. And wondering the motives of the unmarried Jolie-Pitt “Marital” alliance one sees that diversity negates a childhood of Angeline at least of the life as a child of notorious actor father and racial redneck bigot Jon Voight.

That aside, back to the Woody Allen Menagerie family of children, adopted, step, natural etc. of the early 1990s under the financial umbrella of famous rich parents not married, came rumblings of rumors of Woody Allen’s possible misuse of the sexual privacy of his children and their being possibly abused.

In the Family Court, marriage was not dissolved so much as the merger of finances, child support, custody, visitation etc. were being disconnected and realigned with of course "the best interests" of the children concerned.

And the Allen-Farrow “divorce” was being handled in the New York Media Market full of PR, publicists, and Hollywood handlers.

I do remember that the proceeding of the Allen-Farrow Demerger in the Family Court got handled in the rich people’s family court where the rich and famous do not have to sit for hours in the Regular Manhattan Family Court with the little people, the welfare people etc. in terms of divorce, visitation, child support and custody which is the meat and potatoes of that court. 

That the hideous looming concrete architectural monster, with architecture awards, was in the middle of its first of one or two or three major redo-s, re-fabs of a building that should have been torn down considering the years of scaffolding outside and inside creating a surreal web work of a strange mixed sci-fi like territory of family justice in Manhattan.

That the Woody Allen and Mia Farrow paid a "fee" to be treated differently than the "regular" family court, and sat with an appointment with a Family Court Judge in some other building after hours, to work out the details of finance, support, custody and visitation of a modern extended, perhaps Menagerie media type family.

That allegations of spousal abuse or spousal abandonment is the primary language of divorce and such. That Ms. Farrow's past accusations about her adopted children are nothing new in the press.

That allegations of parents abusing children are taken care of in turn by court related bureaucrats in direct or outsourced government investigations.  

And in case you are wondering, unless there is a smoking gun with photos, accusations of abuse of children usually are documented and little else done in a twisted almost obscene place built more for the guaranteed employment of lawyers and judges, bureaucrats and their pensions than for the true welfare of any abused child and or children.

That it is not surprising that it took decades for the Child Abuse problem in the RC Church to come to light, let alone be dealt with etc. Yet to be fully dealt with?

That there are extraordinary parallels illustrated here on how large Secular institutions treat allegations of sexual abuse in similar fashion to Religious interests, and in that the institution comes first because of its functions and only secondly in terms of considerations of other things, human things, namely children. 

That is no surprise that one of Woody Allen’s adopted children is now coming out in public to air the family’s dirty laundry that has taken a back seat to Woody Allen’s Fame, lawyers and publicists for the past many decades.

I do not want to say much further, take sides etc., except to say that it is not surprising to me that more famous children of famous people have not sought a public forum to try and heal old seemingly unhealable sexual abuse wounds.

When Pope Francis speaks about our "throwaway" abortion culture, or comments on marriage as a union between a man and a woman, he wins no points from those on the left. 

 But when he speaks about income inequality, he is praised by the likes of President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. However, these three men are not speaking from the same page. What is driving Obama and de Blasio is envy; what is driving the Pope is justice. The Catholic Church considers envy to be one of the seven capital sins. It is not identical to jealousy. The jealous want what others have; the envious want to deprive others of what they have. 

 The Austrian-German sociologist, Helmut Schoeck, contended that envy was inherent in human nature and had to be contained. He credited the Catholic Church for taming envy, saying it played a decisive role in the advancement of civilization. But it had a way of springing back with a vengeance, especially in the hands of left-wing politicians.  

 Schoeck's book, "Envy: A Theory of Social Behaviour," released in the 1960s, was a clarion call against the exploitation of envy for political ends. "The time has surely come when we should stop behaving as though envious man was the main criterion for economic and social policy," he said.   

 … Pope Francis wants the rich to use their skills to help the poor; he is not baiting the masses to demand that the rich pay more in taxes so that they can pay less. It's the difference between a genuine interest in helping the needy, and soaking the rich.

The logical next job for Michael Grimm will be at the corrupt Port Authority of New York and New Jersey at one of those infamous many no-show $200K a year jobs, bones, rewards for doing the dirty for the power brokers around the Port of New York and New Jersey.

I see that recently, they put a limit on business that would go into Mariner Harbor’s Port Ivory facility in Staten Island, Grimm’s home base. 

I am sure there is one of those angry Letters to the Editor kind of things posted on Grimm’s website to the Port Authority, letters of feigned outrage that so many possible jobs there will be defaulted over to the Soprano state other end of NYC area shipping in Newark.

If you live in Staten Island, and want to get into Manhattan proper of NYC via Brooklyn, it is $13 dollar toll on the Verrazano, a piece of crap bridge built by Donald Trump’s father, on the cheap, no walkway for pedestrians etc., just a throughway from Jersey to Brooklyn/Manhattan/Long Island.

If you want to shop in Jersey at Sam’s Club or get a better price on gasoline or liquor from Staten Island, it is $13 toll on the three ancient ready to fall down bridges that connect Staten Island to New Jersey. (Like what do they do with $13 round trip tolls like build new bridges or build Port Authority owned billion dollar office towers in downtown NYC?)

There are of course “resident” discounts on the bridge for regular Staten Island commuters with E-Z Pass, the electronic thing in your car window that automatically deducts from you credit card every time you cross a bridge or go through a tunnel.

With all the traffic on bridges, the business of shipping in the Port, Michael Grimm is not on any transportation committee but his expertise from being a so-called FBI undercover agent on Wall Street is financials. I wonder how may nickel and dime "Penny Stock" brokers Grimm's undercover work brought to "Justice"? No big bankers or brokers for sure. Too big to prosecute.

His joint bill, Grimm/Lautenberg in the House/Senate proposed legislation to have the Federal Government monitor and approve Toll Increases in NYC, it was a dead in the water bill from day one, filler for the congressional newsletter. Look at what I say I am (not) doing for the people of my district. Yeah right. Etc.

Which leaves us with a Representative’s overcharge of Testosterone on a NY1 News Reporter in a Capitol office building with a fancy show balcony that is usually used for photo ops by the media with various members of the Congress.

The NY1 news station is channel One on the Time Warner Cable package, one of several available to customers in the NYC market.  It is almost a non-news show with what is mostly repeated from mainstream items and the usual local clips, pictures of schools, school children from Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island every couple of hours to appear relevant in an academic sense. 

You do not get breaking lead news from NY1. So in a sense Reporter Michael Scotto I doubt makes 50K a year in a faux cable news business.

So it would seem unusual for Michael Scotto to bait Michael Grimm with a question about a long standing on hold “ethics” matter, on automatic hold in the Republican controlled House. Wink. Nod.

And Michael Grimm has a good ole boy cowboy reputation in the GOP. The kinda a guy still locked in eternal High School manhood and not knowing jack shit about love, sex or lady parts etc.

Mike no doubt was with a mixed group including Democrats when he peed in the Galilee Sea in Israel on some paid for by taxpayer fact finding jucket etc. and rumored to be skinnydipping with the boys, "real men" of the GOP and Dem parties. LOL

I had a dream last night. I was in Rockefeller Center. At first I thought that I had be laid off from my job but I had not worked in RC proper but in one of those newer add on in the 1960s buildings that claimed to be part of the greater Roc Center. Though I had worked in the International Building over twenty years ago and was part of the original setting of buildings with it lobby of black marble, terrazzo floors etc.

The disturbing part of the dream was that in the absence of workers, in a lay off ?, the building was not only being cleaned but refurbed ?for some other tenant.  The really frightening thing was that they had stripped away the bronze handrails of the art-deco masterpiece and I could not find anybody to tell me if they were cleaning or restoring these pieces of modern art.
