How dare the pope question a rich white American man, like Paul Ryan, about his religion of greed and fear and hatred of the poor.

The Pope gets pretty specific about which sorts of ideas he's standing against, too. This bit could be a bit awkward for Paul Ryan, a Catholic and Ayn Rand devotee, going forward:

Pope Francis’ “Atlas Shrugged” – Benson’s “Lord of the World”?

Am reading some right wing Catholic blogs and the current meme driving up to become recognized as some global fact is that Pope Francis is supposedly quoting a lot from his so-called favorite author and book – Benson’s Lord of the World.

It is a hundred year old Eschatological piece that was all the rage in Catholic reading a century ago. It comes with a Vatican City state including all of Rome, Secular Humanism replacing the once sacred role of religion, and of course an American (veiled Jewish?) Antichrist called Julian Felsenburg.

I have not read the once popular work of fiction but two things I see coming if in fact Francis is a Benson Fan on the topic of religion as are so many anti-humanists in the United States are Ayn Rand fans in the political realm. False bibles to lead false movements are so necessary at times.

One. What scares me is that this End of the World mentality may be at the basis of the present pope’s philosophy if not practice to the poor. Organizing a Children's Poor People's Crusade so to speaks to mask a grab for secular power by religion? The poor as canon fodder (elections) in the climb back up to Political importance in EUrope?

Two. That the secular fascist forces of the bankers and politicians can easily merge with the religious fascism of the right. All this pro-life rhetoric in the face of climate change, all this end of the world stuff, false ideas as flypaper to glue the far right together in a self-fulfilling self-destructive prophetic scenario.

Having worked in back office banking once upon a time, I saw the financial melt down of the Argentine middle class in the early eighties, with its hyper-inflation and the middle classes and rich classes scrambling out of cash into legally allowed amounts of gold holdings in overseas and American accounts. Argentina has been unstable ever since the days of the Junta.  

Eschatology fits so well into the weak minded idea to rid oneself, an end, of the torture of self-doubt which religion is in the reality of many everyday people.

Is Francis real or merely the amalgam of all his doubts, guilts, sins and denials of the roles he has and is playing in his life?

Catholic School Worker Fired for Supporting Gay Marriage

An Ohio Catholic school administrator who was fired for supporting gay marriage on his personal blog says his faith is unshaken and he has no regrets for taking a stance on the issue.

"My point was I wish I had time to care who married each other but I don't," Mike Moroski, 34, told ABCNews.com.

On Monday, the 12-year teaching veteran was fired from his job as dean of student life at Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati for "public postings" that "directly contradict well-known teachings of the Catholic Church," according to a letter sent from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati to students and parents. 

Church officials said they would not comment on personnel issues but did provide ABC News.com with the letter. 

Moroski, who is married to a woman, said he posted a quote on Facebook from President Obama's inauguration speech supporting marriage equality. It sparked a public discussion with a friend who had an opposing view.

Pau Ryan's War on Poverty and Inspiration for Upward Mobility

One of the memories from my youth was Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty which he did as a diversion as they sent mostly poor and mostly black people in the “draft” (without, too poor to afford, deferments) over to Vietnam for the sake of General Motors’ profits and quarterly dividends.

I can remember a pre-class discussion in college among fellow students back then how Lyndon Johnson or his wife Lady Bird held stock in a company that made the infamous “tiger cages” to house and torture North Vietnamese Prisoners of Wars. This of course for a profit etc. For profit is no sin – right?

In that great tradition of rich man politician Hypocrisy, Paul Ryan has suddenly discovered the poor and the losing war on poverty.  And no doubt to cover up public, not private, guilt over Janna’s Petroleum Industry “Blind” trusts funds and perhaps too as a cover for Ann Romney  making millions through “Elliott Associates” from taxpayer federal bailout money for the auto industry in her “Blind Trust” etc, 

- Paul Ryan has suddenly found the “Poor” and is promising them “Upward Mobility” just like Jesus did in his day.

Once again it is those lazy poor people living off the system who make life so miserable for the very RICH, namely dear sweet Gina Rinehart and global business mining cohort of the Koch Brothers.

Australian mining tycoon Gina Rinehart, the richest woman in the world (yes, richer even than Christy Walton) must think she’s some kind of Dagny Taggart OR SOMETHING. Rinehart penned an offensive editorial column in a mining industry magazine that’s being widely condemned in Australia. Considering that she owns much of the media there, and undoubtedly many a politician, too, that seems significant. 

Rinehart’s fortune is estimated to be in the range of $30 billion and apparently the mining heiress thinks those drunken shrimp-on-the-barbie poors are just jealous of people like her and her rich friends. During a month when Rinehart is actively engaged in petitioning the government to lower the minimum wage and slash taxes on the wealthy, her timing couldn’t be worse. 

Setting aside the fact that it’s patently ridiculous that a single family could be allowed to make that kind of money by mining a natural (and therefore national) resource like iron ore out of the ground, Rinehart inherited her fucking money in the first place (Just like Francisco d’Anconia inherited his copper mines in Atlas Shrugged, eh? And remind me again how Dagny Taggart came to be running Taggart Transcontinental? Ah, yes, through an accident of birth!) Via Raw Story:

St. Mary’s School in Platteville Wisconsin – a Valuable Lesson in Humility?

You can sometimes judge a story by the way the local press deals with a story as in the case of St. Mary’s School in Platteville Wisconsin which I believe is now closed.  I say the local press has not gone much beyond the handed out press releases or public letters of Bishop Morlino of Madison Wisconsin, Paul Ryan’s local bishop, because there are no good visuals or images of St. Mary’s available on the Internet.

The skinny and or gossip is that Bishop Morlino imported some nice looking white boy priests from Spain, some sort of Jesuits to man the factory floor, mass factories in his diocese.  Looking at a diocese site there they actually have pictures of the clergy there and the parish listing and a limited work history.  Kind of like an Internet dating or religious meat rack.  I guess you want to see what color the priest is in the local Catholic church before you set foot in.  Want you to feel all comfortable in your warm comfort zones and prejudices. 

Well the skinny on the skinny of that is that I only count one or two dark faces and the rest of the priests of Madison County Diocese are white even if they have Hispanic and or Spanish sounding names.  It’s the visual that Madison Avenue has us trained on these past decades.

I have read about South Asian Priests and African Priests being imported to places like the Allentown diocese. I have to wonder if the mail order catalogues the bishops get their priests overseas from have their pictures posted or maybe the importation fees listed next to the pictures is a more important consideration, the money that is and not the look, on that in every diocese devoid of native son priests.

That is why celibacy is not an issue with the locals RC bishops. Priests are an interchangeable part even if you can’t decipher their fractured English or strange outlooks on life based on their native cultures. Celibacy is not an issue.  If Americans don’t want to be priests, plenty of starving third world types to fill in the personnel gaps.

With St. Mary’s they say that the imported priests would have none of the altar girls in the sanctuary thing. The cultural preferences or prejudices of the Spanish culture get put under labels or categories like Conservative Catholics? Etc.

The people in the pews rebelled and voted with their pocket books, even signed a petition to the bishop and the Bishop’s response was a typical these days in America – Fuck You.

The dissenters at St. Mary’s get threatened with excommunication or something close to it – “interdict” – and Paul Ryan gets a free pass on his temporary masturbation love, flirtation with Ayn Rand atheism.

No money. They close the school. The respect the landlord, the bishop, the guy with the deed gets goes a lot to do with the bishop’s generosity in extending financial help to keep a school open. 

No respect, no kissing of Morlino’s stinky toes and the local Catholics in Platteville Wisconsin are taught a valuable lesson about Christ – the golden rule – they that have the gold make the rules.

Madison Wisconsin - Social Engineering Capital of the USA - A Koch Brothers Funded Experiment?

Wisconsin seems to be a social engineering experimentation beach head these days with Scot Walker in the State House wanting to denude all workers rights back "into chains" and servitude and paid for on the Koch Brothers' dime.

I can almost smell the mutton grease from his "sanctified" hands and almost see the wine stains dripped from his "altruistic" lips onto his, Bishop Robert Morlino of Madison Wisconsin's recent pastoral letter of political "non-endorsement" to the sheep still in the pews regarding 110% Catholic Rated native son Paul Ryan (wink, nod).

No doubt that love of native son and country prevented a lacking in duty ignoramus like Field Bishop Morlino from putting Ryan under "interdict" for his public praise and adoration / idolization of the atheist philosophy of Ayn Rand in 2005.

Madison does seem to be a hot spot of social engineering as in the threat of "interdict" to members of St. Mary's Parish in Platteville Wisconsin as the result of human revulsion with the importation of PC Jesuit shock troops from Spain to put the laity in their place and get the stink of altar girls out of God's pure penis only sanctuary. 

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition. What was it at last count, eight Spanish shock troops in seven Madison Diocese parishes? No Hindi, African or Filipino RC priest imports into Morlino's pure white Madison Diocese?

Collateral damage happened in the ethnic cleansing wars in the modern day Balkans, another social engineering experiment in Europe.  As whining parishioners of St. Mary's who have been striped of their school, taught a lesson, as punishment for their disrespect to the God/pope given authority of Bishop Robert Morlino - "Get over it!" as Anton Scalia, another social engineer, 2000 election, would say about such inconsequential matters.

Sounds like Bishop Morlino is perhaps running some theoretical socially engineered field exercise for the School of the Americas, on a consultant fee basis of course, and in a purely religious sense for some future military junta scenario in far Northern America instead of the usual South and Central America Scenario?  Where is the United Fruit Company when you really need them to hire unemployed cronies?

Bishop Morlino is strangely and officially connected to the SOA's socially engineered clone - The Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC), a United States Department of Defense Institute located at Fort Benning near Columbus, Georgia. Like leopards can change their spots by calling themselves turtle doves etc.

The intrinsic evil I fear in the Diocese of Madison Wisconsin these days is in fact Bishop Morlino, Paul Ryan, Scot Walker, the Koch Brothers among many many others staging social engineering experiments in rural and once peaceful Wisconsin.

Most people in a secular society give lip service to altruism. It, as phrased by Any Rand, is the basis of the current moral standards in the west that fall short of her Objectivism which states that individual selfishness is the right approach to reality.

As in some cases, a visual is more informative.   A picture is worth a thousand words.

Viewing some ancient Ayn Rand interviews on YouTube, I felt that this pagan high priestess of the New American Fascism Free Market Capitalist philosophy does not see the forest for the need to piss on the tree right in front of you.

I can see that the so-called altruism of Christianity has not been fulfilled fully over the centuries. Some progress on a regular basis on the evolutionary scale and toward a better humanity is the implied overall message, reality, of Christianity.

Ayn Rand’s anti-human atheism is being touted more than ever before as America is trying to get its fix on its place in the brave new global reality.

If Fascism is the best way to go mixed with Fox New Fear and Lies agitprop rumors, then chaos is not only here temporarily but the eye of the storm moves back to the permanent violence and chaos of nature - a dark age.

That building a better world and being able to share it is the make or break moment of any civilization and more so now in the evolution of our species at this point in time in global history.

Individual pleasure and selfishness says to smoke. Burdening your lung cancer treatment bills on insurance companies or the Government is the real end result of this false fucked up Tea Party philosophy. Total individual independence in the middle of your own forest is a myth long gone from the reality of the American landscape. I doubt that any of these arm chair fascist philosphers espousing Ayn Rand and her wanna be new American State Religion are really going to do the lung cancer treatment thing out of their own pocket.

That is the basic flaw of Ayn Rand – time marches on and a static philosophy must change or adapt to present situations. If you are locked into a never changing religion/philosophy/dogma of selfishness, you are already the ash (the dead past) at the bottom of the ashtray in terms of not trying to any make meaningful contributions to the present and continued future interdependence of humanity.

The filled ashtray of history to date is Objectivism, sad to say. No brave new light to the future there.

I am a visionary of sorts. I have a passion for looking at many different things. I look for the ways to rearrange the pieces of the puzzle of life into a better fit and or the perfect fit.

In terms of the present moral meltdown and officially sanctioned cover-up of rape and torture of children in the past decades, it is time to stop and realize that an institution that claims to be founded by God – that God has apparently been absent for long periods of time since the beginning of this particular church.

That the chaos of wars in Europe from Napoleon to Hitler in World Wars and tens of millions of deaths start with the collapse of the corrupt French monarchy around 1789 and propped up by the corrupt Roman Catholic Church. The Church of Bling, not the church of God, saw fit to bless and sanction cake and pastries on the fat King’s plate while the peasants starved outside the palace gates.

I love the French. Their arrogance and their anti-clerical atheistic attitude is a breath of fresh air after living a life in America with the holier than thou Cardinal Spellmans and Cardinal Codys and their boyfriends and mistresses. And all under the cover of celibacy which is of course not the problem in this global sex abuse scandal in America and Europe as stated by paid church apologists.

I am sorry that we have not heard from Latin America, Africa and Asia where there is little free press, unseen and unheard at present, from those other tens of thousands of victims screaming to heaven for justice.

And then there is the whole of the last forty years of Born Again Bling by Swaggard, Jim and Tammy, Richard Roberts, Pat Robertson, Falwell and dozens of other absolute worshippers of the Pope Bling CEO style mismanagement and misperception of the needs of humanity. Management first, people last and children don’t count. That is not Jesus!

The smug German pope sat on his throne on Sunday, Easter Sunday, and listened to an equally smug Cardinal Sodano state that the faithful are not affected by petty gossip.

Where is the petty gossip? We are talking conspiracy, crimes against humanity, not petty gossip you asshole in a red silk gown that costs enough to feed a village in Africa for months. Where is your perspective and your humanity?

If I address humanity and with an empathy for humanity then I must be a humanist and that is a dirty word in the Roman church. Traditions counts first and foremost. People can apparently go ---- themselves.

A so-called institution of God goes ape shit crazy and corrupt and then the human race has to clean up the mess. The rise of Napoleon after the fall of the corrupt church/monarchy shaped European history in the nineteenth century. The corrupt Russian church/monarchy and its ensuing revolution dictated the course of 20th century politics and brinksmanship. And then there is Mexico in the twenties etc. and on and on.

This is not an institution of God but of corrupt men. Let’s have a going out of business sale once and for all. Let’s just put the Vatican and its contents up for sale at Christie s. That is the best humanist thing to do for humanity.

Let’s stop giving a bunch of third rate “second handers”* another chance to hurt and cause so much pain in body, mind and spirit in the future.

That’s what stopped me whenever I faced a committee. Men without an ego. Opinion without a rational process. Motion without brakes or motor. Power without responsibility. The second-hander acts, but the source of his actions is scattered in every other living person. It’s everywhere and nowhere and you can’t reason with him. He’s not open to reason.
