The best way for a crime boss in prison to keep up with every little detail of control inside and outside the prison is to blend in with the Prison population.  While the cafeteria at the Pope’s hotel is hardly a prison dining hall, a lot of strange and perverted characters can get close to the boss, pass on a signal or written note on two and nobody would be aware of it as opposed to being in the traditional big papal apartments and being on video tape from cameras or having to sign in and out of restricted areas near the pope.

On one level Pope Francis is the sweet simple man he pretends to be. But they did ship Ricca off to Trinidad and Tobago and he recently showed up in chow hall at the Santa Marta B&B favored by the pope and the pope put good ole Battista Ricca on the board of the Vatican Bank in a seat next to board member Carl Anderson of the Knights of Columbus etc.

I am beginning to think that Ratzinger stayed on to tie up the loose ends of Wojtyla’s boys and buggery scandals. That Francis is staying on the tie up the loose ends of the Vatican Bank’s finances.

That considering the source Argentina, maybe the Vatican Bank is not merely trying to cover up and tie up the loose ends of the JPII era when the Vatican Bank was a clearing house for the CIA.

Maybe the ratline of the Odessa and Pius Xii’s gold bug obsession is at the heart of innocent Pope Francis appointing a notorious bugger cleric to run the Shadow end of the Vatican Bank etc. ??? Maybe the heart of the corruption of the worldwide RC church imploding right now has to do with the inability of a corrupt few from letting go of all that Nazi gold, Vatican accounts held in Argentina by former Nazis, gold pried out of the teeth of millions of dead Jews rather than the mere paper billions the CIA ran through the bank for arms and destruction of the Soviet Block?

The U.S. Department of Justice, overseen by Attorney General Eric Holder, has ordered the Sanford, Florida police department to keep possession of all the evidence from George Zimmerman's second-degree murder trial - including the exonerated neighborhood watch volunteer's gun.

Sanford police confirmed on Thursday that the DOJ asked the agency not to return any pieces of evidence to their owners. Zimmerman was expected to get his firearm back by month's end.

The development is a sign that the criminal section of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division is seriously investigating Zimmerman to determine if federal civil rights charges should be filed.

Zimmerman Juror B37 To Write Book On Trial – To Profit on Blood of Trayvon Martin

The former juror, still identified only by her court designation of B37, and her husband reached out to Sharlene Martin, president of Martin Literary Management, on July 14, one day after Zimmerman was found not guilty, according to Martin. 

The identities of the jurors have been sealed by the court and Martin said in a statement, "It is not known whether they will ... decide to reveal their identities given the sensitivity of the verdict and the outpouring of mixed reactions by the American public." 

The not guilty verdict in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, a black teenager, has triggered outrage and peaceful protests in Florida and elsewhere. 

The woman is expected to write about her experience as a juror in the racially charged trial. She is currently working with Martin on writing a book proposal. 

"My hope is that people will read Juror B37's book, written with her attorney husband, and understand the commitment it takes to serve and be sequestered on a jury in a highly publicized murder trial and how important, despite one's personal viewpoints, it is to follow the letter of the law," Sharlene Martin wrote.

Typewriters making a comeback in the age of Wikileaks

Old Fashioned Typewriters are making a comeback in the Kremlin in Russia. They are being used to type sensitive secret materials that cannot be leaked electronically via computers and e-mail etc.

It has taken something like thirty years since the introductions of computers and electronic word processing etc. to figure out that the cost saving in labor of the computer can be a ball buster in terms of national security.

Also, if documents are leaked via photos on cell phones(?) each typewriter has a distinctive signature in the metal or plastic character bits that form the words from the actions of a manual keyboard.  Sources of leaks could be traced to individual typewriters and who has access to them.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

The House will refuse to consider a comprehensive immigration bill that could lead to citizenship for millions of immigrants, Republican leaders said on Wednesday, and will slowly and casually consider a few border-security measures that have no chance of passing on their own. 

And, on Thursday, the House passed a farm bill that stripped out the food stamp program, breaking a pact that for decades has protected the nutrition needs of low-income Americans. It was the first time since 1973 that food stamps haven’t been part of a farm bill, and it reflected the contempt of the far right for anyone desperate enough to rely on the government for help to buy groceries.

 These actions show how far the House has retreated from the national mainstream into a cave of indifference and ignorance. House members don’t want to know that millions of Americans remain hungry (in an economy held back by their own austerity ideology), and they don’t want to deal with the desperation of immigrant families who want nothing more than a chance to work and feed themselves without fear of deportation.

On both issues, in fact, many House Republicans are proudly asserting that they will stand in the way of any attempts to conduct a conference with the Senate. That might, after all, lead to a compromise.
