I do not understand how a woman
in her fifties still is walking around in blithe sixteen year old style
blonde long, long hair. I do not understand why a woman who looks like the
first whore I did it with is still so popular after all these years. She was
older than me but not that old like Ann Coulter Bela Lugosi formaldehyde preserved old.
Perhaps anorexia is the true secret key to eternal life on this planet?
When I see her on Bill Maher, I understand
from the corporate world how blowjobs and supplying cocaine to the rich and
powerful in the front office can get a skank promoted and in a corner office
without any real work to do. But then, does she have an automatic groupie
following that puts Bill Maher’s ratings up five points, is that why she is on
his HBO Media Troll Show so much? Payola?
Do all the media trolls,
formerly media whores; do they all have the same agent at the William Morris
Agency? Like who books the dog acts on once legitimate theatre talk
entertainment Sunday news shows these days? Vladimir Putin?
This annoying switch in my brain
that is so visible is faulty and the “Matrix” like masters of the universe are
not like totally controlling me when I see the likes of Liz Cheney or Ann
Coulter or even Keith Olbermann booked on the George Stephanopoulos’ political
dog and pony show on Sunday Morning – This Week. They gave the Arab girl from CNN a few weeks
to turn around the ratings and then they pulled the old Jay Leno on the female
Conan when they 86’d Christiane Amanpour.
“See! (Mira!) Quality does not
work. What works is circus!” as Roger Ailes subtlety e-mails his Fox News staff
twenty times a day with.
I know I stopped watching George
Stephanopoulos or taking him seriously about anything when I read that the poor dear only gets $40,000 monthly living
allowance to rent a crumby apartment in New York City when they sent him to the
morning show to jazz, jizz it up Bill Clinton style.
What really turned my bile
green, not with envy but pure old fashioned moral disgust, was the picture and
the follow-up research that he was BFF with Catholic Media “Centrist”
Catholic-Judenrat Sean Michael Winters or is it Michael Sean Winters who is
official USCCB apologist for institutional endemic sodomy/pedophila and the new
far right fascist turn in the American Uber-Catholic Church.

A
keepsake from my late aunt came to light in cleaning out an old closet today.
Alas the old Christian Dior winter coat (from my long gone glory days in banking, bought at Barney's NY with part of a real Christmas bonus) had succumbed to moth holes and is a
loss but there in the pocket was tucked away an old plain red wool scarf – no holes
thank God.
My
aunt had been an employee to the late Mrs. Fritz Kreisler as cook, part-time
housekeeper and companion in the Kreisler New York apartment.
After
Fritz Kreisler died, Aunt Mary brought us a bag of some men’s toiletries,
cologne bottle wrapped in a cork label (la dee da) etc. and this old red scarf that Mrs. Kreisler
said that my aunt could dispose of, and that the violin virtuoso had once used
in life. I guess I took the scarf out of that bag of hand me downs and
it has somehow stuck to me through the years.
Today
I found it again. Today I finally looked
up Kreisler’s bio on Wikipedia for the first time. I have memories of the fact that my parent’s
generation took for granted live radio performances of this violin player in the
golden days of radio. His name was a
household item in the day of live connected human entertainment.
No
canned music on the media back then. Some thought the idea of playing a record of a virtuoso in live prime
time radio as something obscene. There is a remark to that effect somewhere in
the movie “The King’s Speech” whereby the establishment thought a recorded
voice of the King giving a canned speech would somehow be considered
fraudulent. Well, the times do change. Whatever.
It
is no wonder why Hitler and his vision of the future failed. With a diaspora of
Jews like Einstein and Freud and not pure Aryan Christianized artists like
Kreisler, it reminds me of the present already failed vision of the German pope
who now wants to caste out all intellectuals, feminists and gays from the RC
church in the next to fail European vision thingy. Oh well.

Paolo Gabriele and the Vatican Faux Trial
I have not rushed into print with my
opinion about the so-called trial of the Bishop of Rome’s butler.
The whole thing from the start was a
bit of I don’t know what to make of it.
It was no Stalin Show Trial. It was a faux trial and we already knew the
verdict.
Paolo is a dupe in a huge game of
front office chicken politics between the unofficial Vatican Baseball teams of
the Crows and the Doves. That’s American baseball BTW and not the Italian
version. Whatever.
The Doves may or may not be what is
left of what passes for moral forces left in the front office of the Roman
Church founded in the fourth century by the emperor/god Constantine the Great
aka saint Constantine.
The recent leaks coming out of the
Vatican have been a source of great embarrassment to the ruling brass of the
extremely old and extremely senile group of politburo members holding on for
dear life for just one more crack at the papacy even if it is for a few months
or a few years and not unlike the string of short term Soviet flunkies that
wanted some reward at the end of meaningless lives as institutional players
and or politicians.
The end games of dead or dying institutions and or obsolete mission statement belief systems.
They had to make it look like they
were on top of all the leaks to the press about corruption, cronyism, buggery
and real leaking plumbing (faucets) all over the artificial Disneyland created by
Mussolini in 1929 to put a fence around and hopefully an end to interference in
Italian politics by the pimps, bankers and hangers-on that run the Vatican
and have done so since day one around the year 325 C.E..
The crows and or the ravens, the dark
party, the one in power that has no power and cannot manage anything. As an
aside, the independent mob in the USA that feign allegiance as they close churches
and sell off valuable real estate in places like New York, Philadelphia,
Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco (follow the money btw), well they, that
burkite wing of the Crows, are an entity unto themselves these days under the feeble
Brezhnev like leadership of the current fading figurehead ratzo wing etc.

The “New Engelization” = the "New Perestroika". LOL (in fact – LMAO)
Anyway the leaks are as much of an embarrassment
to the Crows as is the possibility of real whistle blowers that could put half
the Vatican front office in jail should they be able to jump over the oxymoron
of Italian justice and get an EU tribunal going on the money laundering alone
with the cartels etc. thing.
The butler faux trial ended on a
Saturday which tells me that it was unimportant news in the media cycle and
they wanted to forget the whole thing.
The opus dei people have been running around spying on everyone with the
heat on so to speak now that they got the goods on a rather mediocre public servant
who had been entrusted to keep his eyes on loose valuables hanging around the
Bishop’s private apartment. Handing valuables or documents back over when asked
for them, after and while his wife babysat them in his private home space.
Too much house
hoarding, and not in the Gabriele Household, as so much hoarding of blackmail
documents and other juicy video goodies and audio tapes in the Secretary of
State’s overcrowded private household space – OMG!
They, the opus dei plumbers, may have caulked or puttied the
windows or the real leaking plumbing (faucets) and they are putting up air raid curtains to
cut off all lights from view at night, but the truth is that the Holy Spirit blew
town decades ago with John XXIII and Vatican II.
Fighting over the last pieces of cheese in a
post-apocalyptic Roman Church world is all the rats, ravens, crows or even
doves have left to do once the H.S. flew the coop.
Which BTW resides not in a place or
an institution anymore but in the Hearts of the true followers of Christ.

Running into some interesting visuals while
doing some historical research looking for something else, the thought occurred
to me how so very much like the 1930s German Nuremburg Racial Laws are the
current main-stream currents and opinions of some churches in their almost political
fanaticism regarding racial sexual marriage equality.
That somehow, certain senile old men, who
claim that they and their parents hated the national socialists in the German homeland in the 1930s and 1940s (Notice how I am trying to not invoke Godwin’s Law here with
a certain adjective) are blindly taken at their word and have also somehow modeled their dictatorial vision of what
Adolph Jesus wanted for the human race in the current quadrant space of modern
history.

discounted on the new Global Corporate Spreadsheet these days, it is only a
matter of time before anyone of us, no matter what our degree or tastes in
sexuality, 10%, 25%, 50% etc. that sooner of later a recycled chart from the
Nuremburg Laws will get reused with English words inserted in it (a chart attachment to that spreadsheet) and along with a
FoxFauxNews type explanation, footnote, of why a once secure percentage of the 47%, as
an example, are now ready for the ovens at the Solent Green for profit factory
newly installed in your town, next to the Wal-Mart of course, in an easy to find
location.

Perversion (love?) Among the Ruins – Ascension RC Church – Harrowgate Philadelphia

One of the strangest footings along a
pathway of historical research, looking for a historical geographical reference,
yesterday, landed me back where I had written a piece about a dying decaying parish
adjacent to the parish I grew up in, in Harrowgate Philly, of that of Ascension
Church and Parish.
Trying to disseminate the closing story
which apparently came very quickly and in a press release, so typical of
Charles Chaput, like a thief in the night mentioned somewhere in the Gospels
was an overlay story of BTW, the pastor of Ascension already on one admin leave
and cleared by one of Charles Chaput’s Blue Ribbon Citizen’s Committees of
Justice had to be put back on admin leave because the Blue Ribbon Commission
missed something when they gave him a clean bill of health to be around
children etc.
Citizen Robespierre Chaput offers no
explanations, just a press release. "Off with Ascension's head!"
And
since I was trying to disseminate two stories I missed the timeline which was
that Pastor Michael Chapman had been re-relieved from his duties(?) among the ruins
of a once great city upon a hill church and Parish in old white working class
Philly and ten days later the Archdiocese padlocked the place with less than a
week’s notice for the sole office worker to pack her box and a few other
miserable boxes of church records and become unemployed after 25 years of
service etc.
Want a mass? God is that way. Go 1.7 miles that way or another
mile or so that way.
I should say that the racism in Philly has
always been there. The neighborhood where I grew up was quite white, catholic and
lower working class Irish. That the new
mix of 50% Hispanic and Black probably changes nothing in terms of the human
condition there. Those conditions always
were poor to none for the inhabitants.
That I could blame the Hunky Cardinal Krol
for ignoring race relations in favor of his politics to become the first Polish
pope. I could also blame the traditionally
bigoted Italians, the Guinea Cardinals “Small Tony” Belivacqua or Justin “Big
Frank” Rigali as his Swiss Vatican Guard male friends used to refer to him when
he was their chaplain, but I won’t blame anybody. It is what it is.
It is the modern disease of the American
middle class that once you manage to blow, with sex or drugs or frat house
connections, a foot over the threshold of the front office, get your toe into
that front office cocoon, the back office, the little people, the rest of
humanity can just go to hell as you party and count your crony Bonuses etc.
Just the same way Jesus played the
establishment game in his day. Right?
Whatever.
Anyway, I do not think that many people
read my piece about Ascension in which I actually quoted Pastor Mike – geezus
mary and joseph.
The Rev. Michael Chapman,
56, was originally placed on administrative leave following allegations of
sexual abuse of minors last spring . Chapman, who is pastor of Ascension
of Our Lord Parish in Philadelphia, was placed on leave in March 2011 for an
alleged violation of archdiocese standards of ministerial behavior and
boundaries.
After an investigation, Archbishop Charles Chaput found Chapman suitable for ministry in May 2012. But before Chapman's return, the Archdiocese received new allegations of sexual abuse of minors against Father Chapman in May. The alleged abuse reportedly occurred approximately 30 years ago. The Archdiocese immediately reported the new allegations to law enforcement and delayed Father Chapman's return to the parish.
After an investigation, Archbishop Charles Chaput found Chapman suitable for ministry in May 2012. But before Chapman's return, the Archdiocese received new allegations of sexual abuse of minors against Father Chapman in May. The alleged abuse reportedly occurred approximately 30 years ago. (Sept 26) Archbishop Charles Chaput has approved plans to close
the Ascension of Our Lord Parish in Philadelphia's Harrowgate section, the Archdiocese
announced today.
Parishioners can now go to either Holy Innocents Church, about 1.7
miles away, Visitation, B.V.M. Parish, less than a mile away, the Archdiocese
said in a statement.
It said the church will not be maintained as a worship site since
the 98-year-old building requires at least $3 million in physical improvements.
The closure, effective Oct. 1, is the latest in
a series by the Archdiocese as it deals with declining enrollments and rising
maintenance costs for aging church buildings.
