Cardinal Dolan’s Imaginary Childhood Friend “Dirty Freddie” Threatens Ten People of God on Steps of the Decaying, Falling Down Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York

Cardinal Dolan got imaginative in his blog some few days ago and invented a story to reinforce his perhaps personal but definitely institutional hatred of gays.

He told the story of his sainted “Silk Lace” Irish Catholic mom and her rejection of his probably imaginary childhood friend “dirty Freddie” because Freddie had dirty hands.

Somehow in the story, Timmy had been playing with Freddie and Timmy somehow came away from the experience with unsoiled hands

Silk lace mom insisted that Freddie clean his dirty paws before he could sit down to Mrs. Dolan’s home cooking.  In the story little Timmy had invited little Freddie to dinner without conditions.

But grownups and Catholic Bishops who now “love” gays insist that they somehow have to wash their sin from nature away before darkening the doorways of decaying old cathedrals or churches in the RCC.

Apparently a bunch of gay activists dirtied their hands in protest on Sunday, in empathy for the shabby treatment “Dirty Freddie” got at the hands of the Cardinal’s mom and her imagined silk lace importance in the scheme of things, and tried to enter St. Patrick's with those dirty hands. 

Tough love Freddie!  Don’t want the neighbors to know that you ate here and left with dirty hands intact.  Etc.

That Timmy Dolan leads by example. And since he had no adult social skills, or parenting skills or heterosexual sex in his life, he deferred the way he should treat or “love” them – other people – based on mom’s limited life experiences.

Whatever.

It goes without saying that the peaceful protestors were threatened with arrest and criminal trespass by the Cathedral Manager and backed up by 10 NYPD cops on site and in face.

Moral of the story. When the Cardinal of New York makes up stories like childhood imaginary friends, you better listen – OR ELSE!

I starting writing my blog almost five years ago in reaction not to Benedict XVI's visit to my city, New York City, but to the insulting to me media spin of men in collars in the media calling people like me, Cultural Catholics and or get this "Recovering Catholics" - evidence of experts talking out of their arses and pretending to know what they talk about. 

I wanted people like me to feel comfortable with a label Cultural Christian and not feel inferior to the we have a name and a label for everybody and everything crowd which is usually a negative name and or label, with the know it all scholar types like Ratzy in the Vatican.

Joe the Pope as I have lovingly named the present Roman Pontiff in more than one article of that blog had resigned. A non-traditional thing in an institution blue in the face upholding and compulsively obsessed with all things traditional and so-called sacred.

Well it just came to me as I no longer have a whipping boy in Joe that who or what am I going to write about now. Well, in all honesty my blogging has been an education. With Pharisee types parading around the Vatican in fabulous lace things like Ray Burke, it becomes evident that the parade and the show only masks the past glory and the lost present respect that the Vatican gets and deserves now that it is little more than a money launderer for every crank right wing group in existence.

In a way the St Malachy prophesy that these are the last popes in a list revised and extended once I think in the 14th century is a rare glimpse into the humanity of it all, the institution that at this point in time, the Vatican is little different than any other corporate headquarters marketing and franchising cheap chicken sandwiches to the masses.

The facade of the Vatican is just that - a facade.

Perception is everything and many more by the millions now know and recognize the deception. The church now I think is just the people of God no matter how long the museum in Rome continues to stand awaiting tourists with their tourist dollars.

The Great Heretic - John Paul II - the anti-People of God - CIA/KGB Pope

The Great Heretic and or the Great Hypocrite?  A man of great personal ambition, not faith, and the Poles want to make him a saint.  Polish joke somewhere in there.

One has to remember the Rockstar with his fawning masses of media groupies all trying to photograph him and write stories of the Great Helmsman steering a PC course against the Evil Soviet Union in that insane invented neo-con era of the “cold war”.

But what the majority of the People of God, the Church sees now is a neo-con seizure of that present Church of theology and assets and in direct reversal of Vatican II in General Wojtyla's “Reform of the Reform” and the present retreat into Medievalism under JPII and his fellow, former Nazi sympathizer successor Benedict XVI.

In the matter of the KGB assassination attempt on JPII because of his full swing and cooperation with the West and the CIA war on Moscow, his place in history is held together with paper, glue and Public Relations pubic hair. Nobody got a promotion to Bishop in cold war Poland without cooperating with the KGB - a fact of life. That and the present junta in power in Vatican City, stabbing all good men and women of faith in the back, as the last of the Vatican gold is shipped to Beijing for investment in Chinese slave factories.

The current Vatican meltdown has Secretary of State Bertone doing all in his power to rig the next papal election with the elevation of many to cardinal status, bought votes similar to those of mediocre cookie cutter minded stooges like American Cardinals Dolan and Burke, for a hand selected Neo-Con successor in the very near future.

One seems to forget John Paul’s invitation to Britain at the behest of the fascist minded Margaret Thatcher Government in May 1982 only to have John Paul II fly over to the fascist Junta in Argentina to give succor to fellow fascists and pretend to be a peace maker in the Falklands War.

I am reminded on how what a total creep and massive personal friend John Paul II was of the Pedophile King Father Marcial Maciel of the Legion of Christ anti-human cult within the RCC sect of Christianity.  The Pedophile King could not be $topped by John Paul II, would not be stopped when the bottom line spreadsheet had impressive  numbers of seminarians in makeshift seminaries in the third world filling up with the poor looking for lifetime meal ticket “celibate” employment (quantity, not quality). This meant more for personal power and prestige than that of the true Spirit of the Church.

That the bottom line for the sacking of Bishop Bill Morris of Toowoomba in Australia was his willingness to hand over a sex abuse case involving a Catholic school teacher over to the cops. Something no American bishop and any RC bishop worldwide seems capable of doing.

That if anything is evident in the present Vatileaks scandal of the Ratzinger/Bertone Regime is that money, greed, embezzlement, bribery, blackmail and oral and anal sex among celibate seminarians, priests and bishops is the only way to get a head in the Vatican Whore House of politics. It is not what you know - it is who you blow - it would seem to be in papal politics these days

True Values of a Human Being

What price do you put on a human being? To be fair, I do not know how this question is approached in other religions? No doubt the value and recognition of a human being has evolved over time.

Christians claim to put a high price on the value and dignity of every human being.

In Jesus’ time, there was slavery as an established and grossly inefficient way of doing work. How efficient? You worked your slaves to death. No pension or retirement plans back then. There was a huge and non ending supply of fresh meat for the meat grinder of the military/mercantile empire of Rome.

Of course with an entity like the Roman Empire, everybody in terms of race and or religion or even personal beliefs was grist for the mill of a giant non-stop 24/7 beast from hell.

Our elites over the centuries have unearthed beautiful statues and rediscovered the magnificence and simplicity of the Roman city plan. Rome has been reinvented a thousand different ways in literature, art, architecture, law, religion since the great rebirth or renaissance in the West.

Our view of Rome in the past is I think much more kind than that ancient civilization deserves to be viewed.

I am big on timelines in looking at history. Of course, Rome continued in the east in Constantine’s Xanadu city of Contantinople until 1453 when the latest enemy at the gates got over the gates and that city became the jewel of somebody else’s empire.

Since the reformation, I see personal freedoms and rights slowly evolving in western Europe to the point where civil institutions have stood for the rights of man and not religions.

Religion in the west has always stood for the afterlife. If you can’t get it here, you’re likely to get there. How convenient.

Jumping forward on the timeline to the present, I hear someone on the television talking about outsourcing and how an accountant earning $50k per year can be replaced by ten accountants in New Delhi who earn $5k per year. Efficient yes. Fair?

I am looking at the financial institutions in the west, in the USA in particular today, and am wondering why the value of human beings was not in any recent financial equations. I wonder why somebody at Freddie Mac or is it Fannie Mae got $14 million in salary one year. Freddy and of course Fannie have to do with packaging of home mortgages into securities that are traded globally. I have to wonder what these high earners did to deserve such large salaries. I have to wonder if anybody saw any spikes in their spreadsheets as the cost of a home in America doubled and tripled and quadrupled over a handful of years.

Wall Street, these days, seems merely to be a casino shooting craps and charging fees, fees, fees, on the few lucky ones that have pension funds left to be looted by the privileged financial classes.

If one recognizes human beings as people, if one knows the price of the loaf of bread in America or the rest of the world - One has to wonder where the common sense was when paperwork coming into these institutions stated that the people applying for these questionable mortgages could afford them.

It would appear that the disintegrating quality of securities sold overseas shows evidence of the original paperwork being forged or falsified. I used to work in the mortage business when everything was above board. I know the difference between a bona fide mortgage package and a scank loan package put together by commissioned salespeople motivated not by morality but by bonuses.

The big MBA types, motivated by bonuses, managing the wealth and legacy of the United States saw no problems in the whole burgeoning mess until the present collapse of confidence in our government and financial institutions at present.

Somewhere in this whole bloody local and global mess, besides the lack of morality, is the lack of people, common people, the value of people other than as a commodity, in the financial equations invented at Harvard, Brown, and Wharton in the 1960’s when the concept of a global village and a global economy became the undisputed goal of all future business and diplomatic efforts of the United States.

We may be on the verge of greatness and a great global empire. But at what cost? What is the price of a soul? My soul? Your soul? What is the price of our collective souls as well?

What are the true values of a human being in terms of the sacred and or the secular? Locally? Globally?

It may be a secular world but where in the education system of so many college graduates, who have run this nation into the ground, where is the value of a human being or the dignity and respect for his or her soul? Whose bottom line is more important – God’s or Caesar’s ?

Where is Jesus? He is in the streets with the people. They are the very valuable People of God.
