Hitler Visits the Warsaw Ghetto to Pray?

Given half a chance, Pope Benedict XVI would no doubt like to rehabilitate fellow German Adolph Hitler before fast tracking him to sainthood in similar fashion that the Nazi Pope Pius XII or the Lunatic Pope Pius IX have both been rehabilitated from their earthly crimes and fast tracked to sainthood.

As I have stated here before, Hitler never officially renounced and or “de-baptized” himself out of the Roman Catholic Church.  Like the nuns in grade school taught me, all he had to do was say an act of contrition before he died in order to gain heaven.

Though I have also thought that maybe saying an act of contrition while you are committing suicide might be a moot point in the eyes of God and or Saint Peter who runs heaven not unlike his so-called successors run Vatican City. Forgiveness would of course be measured against all material donations made to holy mudder church.

And of course if Hitler had won, I have no doubts in my mind that Pius XII was ready to dust off the extinct title of “Holy Roman Emperor” for the sake of a German boy making good in the world. His own good that is.

There is a rather bizarre tourist twist in Warsaw whereby artist Maurizio Cattelan, who is just trying to push the envelope in decency and or shock to sell his product which on occasion could be themed as anti-religion or anti-RCC, has tastely placed a statue of Hitler kneeling inside the old Warsaw Ghetto.

Kitsch art, blasphemy, marketing, whatever, here are some words and pictures for your own judgement.
A statue of Adolf Hitler praying on his knees has sparked controversy after going on display in the former Warsaw ghetto.
The artwork by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, titled Him, has been installed in the Polish capital where thousands of Jews were killed or sent to their deaths by the Nazi regime.
The statue has attracted large numbers of visitors since its installation last month, but some organisations have criticised the decision to erect it in such a sensitive area.
Poland's chief rabbi, Michael Schudrich, said he was consulted on the installation's placement but did not oppose it because it conveyed a strong moral question by provoking the audience. …
The Hitler statue is visible from a hole in a wooden gate and viewers can only see the back of the small figure praying in a courtyard.
Cattelan has not made it clear what Hitler is praying for, although organisers of the exhibition in which it features claim the statue is meant to make people reflect on the nature of evil. …
He said he was reassured by the organisers who told him the statue did not aim to rehabilitate Hitler but instead show that evil can present itself in the guise of a "sweet praying child"."I felt there could be educational value to it," Schudrich added.

Feminists in Ukraine Oppose Pussy Riot Verdict – Cut Down Cross

Feminists in Kiev Ukraine put on a demonstration of blasphemy, topless too, to cut down a symbol of church/state incest in a country formerly abused by the Soviet Union, as protest of the guilty verdict of the Pussy Riot punk group blasphemy trial in Russia.

Vladimir “Joe Stalin” Putin is on the side of the Russian Orthodox Church who lick his boots to sit at his right hand in Russia’s present day all fucked up, not free, politics.

Ukrainian activists from the Femen movement have cut down a cross in central Kyiv in a gesture of solidarity with the members of the Russian feminist performance-art group Pussy Riot, on trial in Moscow.

The cross -- erected during Ukraine's 2004-05 Orange Revolution in memory of the victims of communism -- was located near the International Center for Culture and Arts in Kyiv. A topless Femen activist used a chainsaw to cut down the cross.

Femen said in a statement, "On the day of the sentencing, the Femen women's movement expresses its support and respect for its Russian colleagues from the group Pussy Riot. ... By this act, Femen calls on all healthy forces of society to mercilessly saw out of their heads all the rotten religious prejudice that serves as a foundation for dictatorship and prevents the development of democracy and women's freedom."

The three women from Pussy Riot have been charged with hooliganism motivated by religious hatred after performing what they called a "punk prayer" at a landmark Moscow church in February.

The women deny intending to offend believers, arguing the February 21 protest was part of a broad movement against Vladimir Putin's decision to return to the Kremlin as president for a third term.

Madonna Burned in Effigy - Russia - Pussy Riot Blasphemy Trial

Some Orthodox fascist thugs burned Madonna's picture in effigy.

It is always amazing how the "christian" leader always holds the cross with one hand and the torch with another. How do you spell KKK?

Typical christianity, Russian style.

Madonna's crime was saying a few kind words for the female punk group "Pussy Riot" on trial for blasphemy both against the Russian Orthodox church and the Russian Orthodox god Vladimir Putin aka as Vlad the Impaler.

All a bunch of Russian jerk offs.

Vladimir Putin Hiding Behind Patriarch Kirill's Skirts at Russian "Pussy" Blasphemy Trial

New Czar of all the Russias - Patriarch Kirill

Dictator for Life Vladimir Putin hides behind Russian Orthodox Church to violate human rights! Rights of Free Speech.
The performance, a protest against the church's support for Putin, was part of a lively protest movement that at its peak saw 100,000 people turn out for rallies in Moscow, some of the largest in Russia since the Soviet Union's demise.

The plight of the three women, who have been held in a courtroom cage during pre-trial hearings, has also drawn attention in the West, where governments are closely watching how Putin will handle dissent.

Rights groups and musicians such as Sting and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have expressed concern about the trial, reflecting doubts that Putin - who could serve until 2024 if re-elected in six years - will become more tolerant.

In her opening statement, read out by defence lawyer Violetta Volkova, Samutsevich said she saw the prosecution as "the start of a campaign of authoritarian, repressive measures aimed to ... spread fear among politically active citizens."

Amnesty International has called for the release of the defendants, two of whom have young children, saying the charges are not a "justifiable response to the peaceful - if, to many, offensive - expression of their political beliefs."

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev dismissed criticism of the case in remarks published on Monday, saying the trial was a "serious ordeal" for the defendants and their families but that "one should be calm about it" and await the outcome.

Take Christ out of Pagan Christmas – Crucified Santa Artwork? in Virginia

Not Artwork IMHO - Get a Day Job

Tis the season to be angry at the godless consumerism of X-mas.

A display in the Virginia town square came and went and did not become another fake far right Christian GOP religion talking point in the media. Amen.

A display of a skeleton in a Santa Claus suit placed on a cross was erected at a courthouse in Leesburg, Va. It was eventually taken down by an anonymous individual.Julie Grandfield, assistant to the Loudon County Administrator, explained to The Christian Post that the individual responsible for the display went through the system.“Board of Supervisors currently has a policy in place to allow displays on the courthouse lawn,” said Grandfield.
I have stated on more than one occasion that Jesus born on April 17 is not the right birthday boy attached to this Roman Pagan Holiday of Christmas.

I see all the feigned outrage in the public forum of put “Christ back into Christmas”?  Whatever that no-brainer FOX NEWS meme is all about?  Well that equation makes us shut down all the retail outlets selling us pagan junk to properly celebrate this Pagan Holiday ( Birth of Apollo – Jesus’ half brother etc.)

Regarding Virginia putting all points of view on display in a public – kudos.  Regarding the actual crucified Santa thing – not really art – decoration perhaps – another Tim Burton imagination thing – but definitely not art.  Get a day job please etc.

I do not see blasphemy.  Blasphemy is in the heart. Only God can judge in that department when it is truly in the heart.  Point is – have a heart to begin with in order to enter the equation and or discussion etc.

Have a nice annoying Pagan Holiday.  Merry X-mas.

Sinead O'Connor - First Prophet of the New Age

What can be said about Sinead O’Connor?  What cannot be said?

Tore up a picture of John Paul II on the popular American show Saturday Night Live in 1992, accusing him and his cronies regarding the hidden sexual abuse problem of their clergy.  Was hailed not as a prophet for reform but as a blasphemer by the Main Stream Media whores of Babylon.

Survivor of the Irish state/Catholic church Magdelane Asylum, abuse gulag, slave labor system for unwanted women.

Ordained priest of the Irish Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church.  Yes, there is a traditional of ordaining women in the Celtic Christian Church.

And a remarkable performing talent, blessed by God.

Habemus Papem – Moretti - Piccoli

I ran into an article in the Guardian, a Brit news source, about the mixed reviews of the new movie in Italian – Habemus Papem – (We have a pope.)

Alas, cannot find a video with English subtitles. The storyline is about a newly elected pope with panic/anxiety attacks who requires the services of a shrink.

The best of the best shrink available is played by director Nanni Moretti. I think that the storyline has the pope ending up going to the shrink’s ex-wife, Margherita Buy, for therapy and in the end the pope resigns a job he did not really want and could not handle.

That is a very human theme. (If popes cannot be human, then how could Jesus have been human? Myth reflecting reality or reality reflecting myth?)

Habemus Papam

There is some catholic fanatic jihadist trying to sue director Moretti for blasphemy under terms of the 1929 Lateran Treaty between Mussolini and the Vatican.  The usual stuff.

Pope film sparks Catholic controversy
Traditionalists say that the film, by the acclaimed Italian director Nanni Moretti, is “an instrument of Satan” and is particularly offensive as it has been released in the approach to Easter.

Bruno Volpe, the Catholic lawyer, has launched suit for defamation against Moretti and the producers under the terms of the Lateran Pact, which extends the same protections to the prestige of the pope as to the Italian president. Mr Volpe said Habemus Papam (We Have a Pope), never mentioned the current Pope by name but it was nevertheless clear that it was a parody of Pope Benedict XVI and dishonoured the figure of the Pontiff in general. Salvatore Izzo, a Vatican expert, branded the work disrespectful and boring in an open letter to Avvenire, the Catholic bishops’ newspaper.
No word yet from the Catholic League condemning this film?

I am eagerly awaiting this film’s debut on cable TV with English subtitles. Looks like an interesting flick about a slice of Roman life in and around the Vatican thingy.

Blasphemy and the Last Supper

I think the concept of blasphemy is archaic and obsolete in light of the free speech and expression as mandated by law in our Constitution.

Still the concept for Muslims, if enacted by U.N. international law, would put Danish Newspapers and Danish Cartoonists in the category of criminals. I cite the recent hubbub regarding the image of Mohammed as a terrorist depicted in a Danish cartoon.

Terrorism and blasphemy are in the eyes of the beholders. The Global Town Square should be neutral in the enforcement of blasphemy concepts across national borders which also usually reflect national local feelings or religious local beliefs.

I think it inappropriate that the local minority Muslims in Denmark made an international issue over the cartoon. A minority has no right to impose privileged or entitled status of private religious opinion on the majority.

Perhaps in a more civil world, the occasion to insult will be reduced in the interests of respect of the rights of others both locally and internationally.
Thomas Aquinas says that “it is clear that blasphemy, which is a sin committed directly against God, is more grave than murder, which is a sin against one's neighbor. … it is called the most grievous sin, for as much as it makes every sin more grievous.” Wikipedia
Of course, in the recent Texas School Book deal to replace Aquinas for Jefferson is a poor choice IMHO. Aquinas is really a very abstract medieval theologian and obsolete on many of his opinions. Banning Jefferson in Texas will only excite, entice the curious to find the father of modern revolution and enlightenment.

Regarding the above image of a censored in France and Italy clothing advertisement in 2005, I take exception to it being banned in the name of Blasphemy.

The Last Suppers
BBC News:

France's Catholic Church has won a court injunction to ban a clothing advertisement based on Leonardo da Vinci's Christ's Last Supper.

The display was ruled "a gratuitous and aggressive act of intrusion on people's innermost beliefs", by a judge ......

The authorities in the Italian city of Milan banned the poster last month ......

Italy's advertising watchdog said the ad's use of Christian symbols including a dove and a chalice recalled the foundations of the faith and would offend the sensitivity of part of the population.

The Catholic Church used a similar argument against the advert, which also shows two of the apostles embracing a bare-chested man in jeans.

"When you trivialise the founding acts of a religion, when you touch on sacred things, you create an unbearable moral violence which is a danger to our children," said lawyer Thierry Massis.

"Tomorrow, Christ on the cross will be selling socks."
I find that the DaVinci Code the book, while a pile of myth and speculation, opened a true door not to enlightenment but in opening the mind up to all the possibilities of ancient myth and how it all could have been rewritten differently especially in the New Testament that is.

With the current meltdown in the Vatican over cover-ups and conspiracy over sex abuse crimes worldwide, the concept of private “church” matters (the way these crimes were treated) comes into question with the “infallibility” invoked in this covering up of crimes against children.

Getting back to the DaVinci Code, what would the world look like if women had been the predominate sex throughout history?

Getting back to the Vatican scandal, I think this image above from 2005 is more appropriate now with the image of an aroused and or prostitute male figure in place of the John/Mary figure of the DaVinci Code’s interpretation of DaVinci’s Last Supper mural.

Even more appropriate in the symbolism of that john/mary/prostitute image is that modern image being embraced by the Peter figure of that famous original icon image and with Judas’ legs intertwined in the whole mess.

Any good Christians feeling betrayed these days, as if by Judas, but instead by the Chair of Peter?

Blasphemy is not always a crime especially if it tells or depicts the Truth.

Heaven and Hell Can Wait until We Have Change in America

I was having bad feelings in my dreams last night. I won’t say nightmares. I practice some control in my dreams but never the less woke up and did not want to go back to sleep right away.

It all had to do with Satan and or the devil or whatever. The devil was something I used to get threatened with when I was a child. Rather abusive in retrospect to dump human insanity onto an innocent child as the justification to make threats and just because the child did not want to go to bed. I left the lights on after that when going to bed. It is some carbon footprints that ignorance leaves on the planet.

The Devil thing was related to Pat Robertson and his senile remarks about how the Haitians got into the tragedy they got into because of some pact with the devil. Believe me if the devil was worth his salt I would have already made a pact with him or her a long time ago. But where is a friend or benefactor when you need one. The devil is as useless and any other children’s myth. The alternative of good “Christians” wanting to take my soul is all I got printed on my tee shirt in this life.

Like most dreams, mine I think had its roots in a cartoon site listed by CNN on its website.

Pat Robertson Devil Cartoon

The sad thing is that the Cartoon says a lot about a lot of things in America today.

Is this my Secular moral outrage at Pat Robertson's blasphemy on the human condition for "inferior" people - inferior in his eyes - his supposedly superior christian eyes? I will let you ponder that question.

CNN which has been a stable supplier of the establishment bullshit forever expressed freedom of speech and passed long a cartoon of Pat Robinson as the Devil in no doubt luke warm editorial comment on the way Christianity, or major parts of it, has failed us in real life situations on this planet.

It is a secular swinging backlash after decades of verbal abuse from the politicians and bankers and members of Congress who use GOD like they use everybody else in the quest for a measure of power, glory and money.

When good ole Pat had to throw in the bigoted darkie joke while appealing for funds to help these black devils he finally crossed the line – a line behind which the MSM, main stream media, has been protecting these establishment figures for decades now.

There is a shift in the balance of power here in America. The religious establishment has allied itself with the politicians and the bankers and guess what - something is coming down the pike. A French Revolution to tear down churches, banks and state legislatures? I don’t know.

There is no God. Or at least no moral justice here in America. The Wall Street bonuses prove that.

We voted for change. There is going to be change come hell, high water or even earthquakes!

All I know is that the blogosphere is a powerful instrument and it is registering major disgust for all the fools in power. I am ready for a tea party! I am glad that Obama is finally proposing a bail-out or bankers devil's tax.

It is time to give the devil his due, tax him, and time to pay the piper for us all great and small alike.

Heaven and or hell can wait.
