Bill Donohue is in rare form. His unpaid interns are cranking out the comic book screed to help illustrate the Kabuki Down Low Theatre of the American RCC of late. Shakespeare never could make this much shit up out of real history, that is going on lately in the local rectory.

I was genuinely touched by his piece on the aging Father Benedict Groeschel who empathizes with that “poor guy” Jerry Sandusky and blames the victims of child abuse and rape as forcing vulnerable adult priests into abusing and raping them.

I know that Groeschel’s show on EWTN is a cash cow for his merry band of Franciscan brothers but don’t let reporters or people from the district attorney’s office tap into the long term memory of a lifetime professional shrink, apologist and coverup-er, enabler of priest problems and crimes. Don’t let him near a tape recorder. Time to park that Model T in the garage permanently, if you know what I mean.

Fr. Groeschel Under Fire

Bill will be on with Kabuki master Raymond Arroyo, inspiration to me regarding Catholic Kabuki as practiced on the Catholic TV network EWTN, on Sunday and Monday. Check your local listings.

Bill will be discussing Cardinal Dolan’s last minute invitation of hisself to the Democratic Convention in Charlotte to protect his 501 (c) (3) tax status after fawning on the GOP and all but endorsing the Romney Ryan Ticket.  I am going to watch and listen to Bill defend his drinking buddy and personal friend Tim Dolan.  Donohue will probably not reveal any yummy gossip from Tim like “what do Mormons taste like?” in that scripted kabuki interview with Ray Arroyo.

And finally onto Bishop Cordileone and his DUI this past weekend. Bill quotes I think from some porn site to excite the reading audience and paint the picture of what a Sodom and Gomorrah San Francisco is and poor holy Sal Cordileone who has to inherit it, such a horrible evil place, and must attempt it to bring it back to the one true Plaster Catholic god.

Gay blog sites have also picked up on this theme. Why? San Francisco is a city where men [read: gays] are free to walk around naked in the street in front of women and children. They can even walk into McDonalds totally nude and park themselves next to Ronald McDonald, provided, the law says, they place a towel on their seat (hygiene matters). Next month homosexuals will whip each other in the street and have sex in public at the Folsom Street Fair. This is the city that Cordileone will soon inherit.

Which leaves us with questions as to how fast Sal got his boy toy out of the country under varying short term media descriptive labels (now erased), labels such as “young priest from overseas” to “foreign exchange student from Germany” to “young male companion” in the passenger seat with 88 year old mom in the back seat as Chaperone or dare I say it Pimping for Junior and or providing cover/beard, plausibility.  I ran into a few mother daughter acts in my dating days and the mom, gay son act variation too once from a relative etc.

In any case, Bill and Ray on EWTN will be great theater this weekend.  My regards to Bill’s ghostwriters, on this rather exceptional energetic cranking out the script/screed lately.

Over the years, one gets the idea that some little humble Catholic monastery/nunnery in the middle of Alabama is the best place to air black and white reruns of Insight and Bishop Sheen’s instructions on how to survive the coming nuclear holocaust with the Soviet Union, that that particular propaganda TV station amidst the cows and pastures is a little bit more than it seems.

I don’t know why a Cable TV station feels that it must sue the Federal Government over HHS fair trade rules, but hey, if you’ve got GOP Pac money and the Becket Fund behind you, why not get on the overpaid martyr bandwagon against the Negro Predender President Barack Obama, it is as good as any other place to restart the culture war and hate that seems to be the vinegar blood of the RCC controlled by the Neo-Con Bishops and Neo-Con politicians these days.

Catholic TV network sues US over birth control mandate

Thursday, EWTN — a Catholic television network carried on thousands of cable systems in more than 100 countries — filed suit in U.S. District Court in Birmingham, Ala.

"We had no other option," said Michael Warsaw, president of EWTN, which stands for Eternal Word Television Network.

"Under the HHS mandate, EWTN is being forced by the government to make a choice: Either we provide employees coverage for contraception, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs and violate our conscience or offer our employees and their families no health insurance coverage at all. Neither of those choices is acceptable," Warsaw said.

On at least one point, Warsaw is wrong, said Erin Shields, HHS's top spokeswoman.

While the rule covers "emergency contraceptives" like Plan B and Next Choice, it doesn't cover drugs that cause abortion, Shields told NBC station WYFF of Greenville, S.C.

John Corapi - Judas Priest?

Innocent or guilty, I have formed an opinion of this matter burning up keyboards on the Catholic blogosphere.

Father Corapi, until recently a living saint, has apparently taken the money and run so to speak.

There were allegations of sexual amusement (with women) and drug addiction.

I saw him a few times on EWTN, haven’t watched it in years, with his aggressive defense of the RC catechism and all things RC. I was not impressed.

His speech seemed to be impeded by badly fitting dentures as he seemed to spit a lot when making a point. 

Quite popular with devout middle aged catholic babes.  There is a great wailing and gnashing of teeth since his departure from the official catholic airwaves on the very huge rosary, middle aged catholic babe blog circuit. 

In a sense, he has gone over to the other side.  His Santa Cruz Media seems to be in his for-profit name and not in name of his religious order or any greedy diocese.   Get the deed.  Keep the deed.  Screw everybody else. Catholic rock stars don’t need a conscience.

Screw the ecclesiastic courts set up to investigate abuse.  Set up shop in God’s country, Montana, praise the lord and pass the ammunition – and keep the profits on DVDs, pamphlets, inspirational books etc.  And let’s not forget the lecture circuit.  Great deal.

And now a second planned career to out church corruption.  Caiaphas lives!

GOP and the New Racism

I do not think that it is intellectual or moral backbone that has the Cardinal Newman Society, a once harmless national on-campus organization, campaigning against President Obama, to prevent him from speaking at Notre Dame on May 17. I think it is out and out pure old fashioned racism. Not so recognizable as racism but the coded worded type so frequently used in the recent past.

This moral outrage – is it funded in anyway by the down and out GOP?

GOP money seems to be funding this tea bag thing against whatever – taxes? - too.

The GOP is looking for a hook. Anything that will stick and get them back into Sodom and Gomorrah like absolute power in Washington D.C.. This wanting "Obama to fail" strategy is publicly professed by Gingrich and Limbaugh among others. This wanting Obama to fail is unpatriotic in my opinion. I feel that it goes deeper than failed politics on the GOP side. I think it also goes to the level of race.

I don’t think it is coincidence that Tony Blair converted to Roman Catholicism as a prelude to his campaigning to be the first president of the EU.

I don’t think it a coincidence that Newt Gingrich has now converted to Roman Catholicism. I think the new “IN” for the republicans and their tired decades old “family values” hypocrisy is in hiding behind the skirts of the RC Church to push its fascist agenda forward.

I do not think it coincidence that a nationally mounted campaign in the Catholic Blogoshpere against Obama speaking at Notre Dame - or on any level - but with this run let's call it moral - and not racism coded or otherwise - is anything but a test run for politics and new GOP strategy.

If this new fascist strategy wrapped in moral sheep's clothing - if it works at Notre Dame, then the New Racism (the hook) is born and and the GOP will try to rise again using this new found gimmick of pushing its agenda forward on the "moral" Catholic Blogosphere, coded or otherwise.

I watched this person last night, this Raymond Arroyo “News” anchor on the EWTN – Eternal Word Television Network – and heard him pump up and advance this (covert racist) campaign by the Cardinal Newman Society to throw the black guy off campus at Notre Dame. The spokesperson for the Cardinal Newman society said that he would be happy if they withdrew the honorary degree and the (second class negro citizen) President be allowed to only talk at the commencement.

Sound familiar? ASU in Tempe Arizona will not give the black guy an honorary degree. Like what has Obama done lately? Not much apparently. Arizona, has a republican Governor and two republican senators. Arizona, under a republican governor, shot down the MLK federal holiday a generation ago – a good red neck state and it’s Universities suck too.

I had come to believe lately that the party of Lincoln and their recent round of debauchery, of sodomy in airport bathrooms and fondling page boys in the Capitol hallways and the adultery, drunk driving and making of bastard children was on its way out for a long needed rest.

But no. Fox News may be in decline. The Catholic Blogosphere is the next wave, the secret weapon of the GOP. I told you that Roman Catholicism was not a fascist religion so much as a religion in search of a fascist patron – President Newt Gingrich?

I can’t find any credible journalistic credentials for this Pee Wee Herman look alike spokesperson for the Church of Rome – Mr. Arroyo seems to be an official spokesperson supporting the church’s (racist?) policies in Africa and the Pope’s evil (coded) pronouncements on condoms. We in the west don’t take the Pope’s unscientific pronouncements on condoms seriously.

But a bunch of poor uneducated Africans do take the words of the pope as sacred or sounding like they come from Mt. Sinai or such.

The pope is not pro-life

Appearing on Fox's O'Reilly Factor last week, I debated the pope's statement with writer Raymond Arroyo. I pointed out that UNAIDS, calls the condom the “single, most efficient, available technology to reduce the sexual transmission of HIV.” Arroyo responded with a bizarre conspiracy theory saying that the United Nations group was only trying to “protect the government infusion of money to these condom programs that have demonstrably not worked at all.”

Then I asked Arroyo point blank: “If all the condoms in Africa magically disappeared, would the number of HIV cases increase or decrease?”

He responded that HIV would decrease if people would model their lives on the pope's “ideal way in which to live.”

In the ideal world promoted by Arroyo, priests would not rape little boys, while getting shuffled around parishes to protect the church. In the real world, the Vatican has spent millions of dollars to pay for child abuse lawsuits. In Arroyo's fantasy world, young people pledge abstinence until marriage. In the real world, studies show that teens taking virginity pledges were just as likely to engage in sex—and less likely to use birth control or condoms when they finally did.

Beware of the new power of the RC church as an agent of the GOP.

Fascism in America or it’s secret agenda within the GOP is not dead yet.
