The Tea Party, Viagra and Tired Old White Massas in North Carolina - Art Pope, Pat McCrory and Company

While the East coast establishment media were focusing on yellow water in Russian hotels, there was a protest march in the tens of thousands on Saturday in Raleigh North Carolina in protest of the Nostalia for Tired Old White Massas in the State Legislation that want the past to come back, tobacco, cotton, Do Dah and all that.

I really think that the Tea Party is fueled by Viagra by these by nature old and limp dicked white men who in their minds want to be the massas that their granddaddies were back in the stone age after the Civil War, Jim Crow and all that.

I can only imagine that this delusional rule by old white men on Viagra will run its course when all these heartless soulless Boomers die off in time.

In the meantime, there is nothing but collateral damage to the rest of humanity as these eternal adolescents from the high school locker room still joke about the real world and only have their chemically supported hard ons to hold onto.  Whatever.

The day began cold and cloudy, a fitting metaphor for politics in North Carolina last year. Since taking over the legislature in 2010 and the governor’s mansion in 2012, controlling state government for the first time in over a century, North Carolina Republicans eliminated the earned-income tax credit for 900,000 North Carolinians; refused Medicaid coverage for 500,000; ended federal unemployment benefits for 170,000; cut pre-K for 30,000 kids while shifting $90 million from public education to voucher schools; slashed taxes for the top 5 percent while raising taxes on the bottom 95 percent; axed public financing of judicial races; prohibited death row inmates from challenging racially discriminatory verdicts; passed one of the country’s most draconian anti-choice laws; and enacted the country’s worst voter suppression law, which mandates strict voter ID, cuts early voting and eliminates same-day registration, among other things.

Frank Bank, Actor, “Lumpy” on “Leave It To Beaver”, Dies – Boomers in Mourning

Well, an obscure actor from a family sitcom from the nineteen fifties died the other day. Word leaked out to the Boomers from Jerry Mathers’ Facebook Page.

Jerry played the little moron tyke nicknamed “Beaver” in the so-called family comedy show "Leave It To Beaver" in the late fifties and early sixties when America was supposed to be innocent but reality must have been more really like a captive family in a Mormon like fascist small town, whites only, enclave.

Frank Bank played "Lumpy" aka Clarence, a rather overweight dumb kind of teenage friend of Beaver’s older teenage brother Wally. Though dumb and the likely object of bullies, Lumpy seemed more like the bully type off screen with his size and height and may have been the reason Wally let him hang around his crowd in high school.

It is all rather bizarre to explain the TV show to foreigners and or a British audience where I believe that Beaver means something else and is the name of a once famous Playboy like magazine called Beaver. Whatever.

The boomers think it is news. And for the majority of them as “nones” in religion, the passing of a fellow traveler brings them all too soberly to the realization that the end is near for that crowd of aging Americans.

I never knew what Ward the father did for a living. He worked in an office with Lumpy’s father who may have been Ward’s equal or superior in that office. Which is another reason why Wally and Beaver had to perhaps be kind to the dumb son of the local stake bishop etc.

Beaver’s mother was a stay at home mom and wore high heels and pearls as she dusted her house and was forever serving roast beef and mashed potatoes to her boys and husband at dinner.

June only made meatloaf when Beaver's little fat dumber than he friend Larry came over to dinner and put carrots in the meatloaf because he hated carrots. It was June's way of saying to Larry that he might not be welcome or of an equal class to the Cleaver family?

June never spoke when her husband spoke and differed to his wisdom distributed around the dining room table.

I think that Mitt Romney comes to mind when I think of Ward in his non-job and his temple crony co-workers sitting in an office overlooking the local town square and I think there only real job was to spy strangers on that town square within view and report them to the sheriff or the local militia/John Birch society. Report the dark strangers especially, if you know what I mean, wink, nod.

For all you third world globals now being subjected to the sixty year old tapes of "I Love Lucy" comedies as stage one of the American colonization process, be forewarned.

If you or your family watches "Leave It To Beaver", your wife and children will be turned into pillars of salt. Or worse, you will become a dumbed clone version of A-merican non-culture through "entertainment".

As for Frank, I read that he was a gambler and a financial consultant and lived the good life after Beaver. Escaped Beaver Town so to speak.

Of course there is no control over how the dogs tear up and rip your bones apart after you are dead and consume you.

Especially when the Boomers need your life story to comfort them in the Lame Stream Media.

That’s Life. That’s Show Business. That’s Hollywood. LOL

The White Cocoon – Farewell to the White Baby Boomer Majority

It is difficult to get a handle on anything sane or regular in the present inane Presidential brand of election year politics.

Some thoughts came together listening to a liberal radio talk show host, Stephanie Miller, which has the radio show televised to make visual time on the pathetic Al Gore Current cable channel.

Stephanie was quoting the rantings and ravings of Jan Brewer and company who drink Colorado River ditch water and still consider themselves sane under a 120 degree Fahrenheit Arizona summer day sun.

Jan Brewer is the Governor of Arizona who so rudely points her finger in the face of Negro Presidents and signs, without reading, paranoid redneck anti-immigrant stuff coming out of the Mormon dominated Arizona state legislature.

The Supreme Court shot down some of the hot air (dry hot air) of some of that legislation stuff this week.

While all this is going on, I am thinking about where a once great superpower and its culture should be on a timeline in a global economy and emerging global culture.

Well the thought occurred to me how all the boomers are aging and may be thinking about how all the white boomers, a majority now, live largely in segregated white gated communities or white heartland towns. Where exactly are they in terms of the aging mental thought process in that the white boomers, with a prime example like Jan Brewer, seem to be living in a bubble fantasy world on some different planet from you and me?

And to protect the majority, John Birch, uber-white culture of their youth, as they grow old and begin to die off, all this hate towards Obama and all this dysfunction in government to throw that negro out of the White House, that perhaps the bubble they are living in is really better described as a white cocoon.

Creationism has not yet destroyed high school Biology 101.  I am probably way off in what gets taught to kids these days and at what level in their education about the sex or mating and reproductive acts of insects such as butterflies.

Since this is sex education I am probably violating all Catholics and their religious liberty but from what I know or remember of the subject, ugly little worms like caterpillars get to a certain age not unlike the boomers and weave a cocoon into which they escape reality and where they basically die, restructure remold themselves out of all the chemicals in that cocoon life support system and are resurrected into butterflies out of that cocoon.

I just looked it up this morning to reaffirm what the process is.  The butterflies, usually multi-colored, mate and produce eggs that result in little bugs that eventually morph through their ugly worm stage and into butterflies after walling themselves up into a cocoon.

Well you know I see a parallel and or a metaphor here.  White boomer America is dying off and slipping from majority status of the population into minority status, day after day after day.

This election year cycle is ugly. The dysfunction of the white boomer Congress is pathetic.  It all reminds me of ugly little worms building a cocoon and waiting be reborn again in prime color, function and majority status. That’s the plan I think.  They will emerge from the wreckage of the economy and destroyed civil discourse that they are causing right now and they will somehow make a Hollywood type comeback in their careers just like Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard. Yeah, right.

Well, nature throws fits, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis etc.  Nature and or God likes to play tricks.

The thought occurs to me that evolution is indeed real and I am reminded about something I saw on some nature TV show that stated some statistic about how in England in the nineteenth century, a beautiful orange colored butterfly morphed into a brown color in order to use camouflage as a defense mechanism against predators.

You see the orange butterflies used to exist in a lush green valley until the industrial revolution with its soot and smokestacks had turned everything in the valley more brown than green.

So the orange butterfly could no longer blend in with flowers where there were no longer flowers.  As a result the orange butterfly morphed out of survival necessity into a brown butterfly. True story.

In a way, the growing global culture is upon us, the white boomers are going into a cocoon stage of their existence.  In order to survive in the future, they will have to morph into common frames of color of the majority landscape. A little bit of irony perhaps will be evident then, there when history looks back at this time from that different landscape of the future.

That a beautiful creature mates. Eggs are produced and larvae hatched. A creature grows and survives and builds a spaceship to the future and what comes out of the spaceship after some time is anybody’s guess.

Is Mitt Romney Ronald Reagan’s Clone/Zombie – Boomer Comfort Food?

The GOP boomers want to return to the womb, to the 1950s before they go to their eternal reward.  Mitt Romney, more than anything else is a clone, a Ronald Reagan like Zombie? A wish for the pure white past of Leave it to Beaver and Pleasantville USA.

June and Ward Cleaver

Mitt Romney is the zombie Ronald Reagan Thank you Cahir O’Doherty.

If you squint hard, and I mean hard, it's almost possible to see the outline of Ronald Reagan standing behind Mitt Romney. From a distance it's 1980 all over again.
A smiling throwback of a man who you underestimated at your peril, Reagan looked like 1950 in 1980, and that turned out to be exactly what the public wanted. They wanted rituals and figureheads that provided reassurance, they wanted yesterday, they wanted daddy. Baby boomers voted for Reagan in a landslide.
Romney's supporters, and will you be surprised to hear there aren't that many off them in the GOP, are going that a bit of the Gipper's charisma will animate their pick. But the desire is in itself a proof of their desperation, not their strength.
If you squint Romney has all the surface similarities, but it's as though all the juice has been squeezed out, all the charm, all the twinkle, all the wisdom and life experience of Ronald Reagan, seems missing. Romney is zombie Reagan. It's what the race has come to.

It takes two parents to raise a white child.

War on Religion – We Hate Sex

War on Religion equals We Hate Sex is a quote I think from the Daily Kos guy on Olbermann.

Somewhere along the timeline, the fear factor that is the Republican Party merged with the Roman Catholic church.  The church's fear of sex, all sex, and the aging white boomers' male fear of not being able to get it up is the foundation of this new social construct in America. That, rather than issues being discussed in the current election cycle.

Obama’s new so-called “war on religion” is just a personification of the old south myth about the rogue colored man raping the white women fear factor.

The word of course would be rape.  No free white woman would cross the color line.  No free white woman could enjoy sex with a member of another species and or race. Enjoy sex that white men are not capable of giving.

And of course, the war on Obama is a coded wink nod war against his color or half color so to speak.

And the fear of sex by the so called seventy year old male virgins running the RCC is a surrogate war on Obama via women and their strange vagina things by these strange men, really creatures, in dresses, still actively, perceptually, living the Roman Empire life fifteen hundred years after the death of that empire.

Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus; Bishops are from Closets?

The churches are empty.

The Government subsidizes the churches via crony faith based capitalism.

While I believe some physical churches in the USA could be turned into museums like in Rome for the lack of a flock, maybe we should just close all the churches and just send the monthly government faith based subsidy entitlement to some lock box at Wall Street or Vatican City.

Have a nice day.

American Education Ain’t Worth Jack Shit

The way the godless money men and women have commoditized education in this country, it is now out of reach of the common man, even with a gazillion student loans.  Considering all the college grads that I have trained over the years, the youngest ones that have spent the most money on their education seem to be the stupidest.

I say stupid because somewhere along the timeline the myth that college taught truth and or knowledge got wrapped up with the value of bundled mortgage securities and the like.

My most cynical line over the years has been that if Harvard could teach you anything worth knowing in life, they could charge you $250,000 a credit.  Well they still cannot teach common sense, Jack Shit to be honest, but the academic whores at Harvard are close to charging that $250,000 a credit for their stamp, imprimatur class of ediocation.

It is not to say than some kids with college degrees these days are not intelligent.  But do they know where Belgium is? Do they know who engaged in the American Civil War?  Or more importantly why? Do they know if blue is green?  Huh?

I have seen my son’s college text books.  The books, the paperbacks cost hundreds of dollars.  The shit in them is changed every six months like a 1990s personal computer.  The flavor of the month history, political science (they don’t call it that anymore) and literature is more geared toward some as yet to be revealed unknown political agenda.

Is it actually an education agenda intertwined with the Publishing Industrial Complex that gets their bribes and inflated kickbacks from the Universities to enslave these poor kids in eternal debt. And worse than that, the books are printed in freakin China no less.

Of course, colleges can teach professions.  Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants to name a few. But all this other stuff seems more like bullshit than education.

And the little tin gods who run departments with triple degrees in bullshit are the morons in charge of the top end of this education morass.

I don’t like the thought of home schooling mostly because on that end of the spectrum, they only seem to just want to teach Jesus and dinosaur husbandry.  But looking at the idiots, the educationists, I have had to deal with through the years trying to get a learning disabled child to conform to their totalitarian world view for testing and learning conformity and turning young minds into cookie cutter robots in life, I can see why this country is so fucked up across the board.

There was a time when college was for people who wanted to be ministers or doctors or chemists.  And the son of the factory owner killed time there on his way to inheriting the factory - the only true formula to American success.  Back then on a small scale it was a necessary evil.

But who has ever proven that a college degree from an Ivy League college meant anything in terms of intelligence.  Look at George Bush as a sad example of how money can buy a degree at Yale and Harvard and not produce an improvement in personal intelligence or incremental increase in benefit to society.

To all the baby boomers that sat in classrooms and conformed and got a sheepskin on a wall to get an above average salaried job, those glory hole days are over.  If these young kids want to make a living, they've
got to hustle the old fashioned way, show some sweat, and not sit around running up student loan debt hoping the jobs are going to magically reappear from India or China.

In other words, get a life.  Start a factory, sell something, and create something other than a video game.  The future belongs to the people with common sense, old fashioned horse sense or as I sometimes call it Farm Sense.

Farm Sense means that if you don’t make the hay, don’t feed the cow or the pig, you starve to death.  That is where America is headed I fear.

I know Obama looks good in his $3500 suits and I saw him on Leno last night. He has all the right degrees etc.  But he won the lottery in life a long time ago.  He was the right poise, the right perfect PC brain dead language that sounds like a perfect delivery of a Ronny Reagan news conference script written by his keepers.

His recent pandering to help students with student loan debt makes him just another tool of the Man.  Don’t be fooled.  A used car salesman in a $3500 suit is still just a used car salesman.  (Look under the hood.)

Don’t believe the myth that you can buy into the privileged silver spoon class with the right education.  Some can win that lottery, like one in a million.  Truth is - only the children of the rich who go to Ivy League schools, whose parents and grandparents went there as well, are guaranteed a country club crony place on the board room table of a bank or a brokerage house or partnership in a Wall Street law firm.

The rest of you are just education fodder ground up and spit out by the Education/Publishing Industrial (For Profit only) Industrial Complex and charged an arm, a leg and an asshole for the privilege.

Get a life.  Create your own job. Don’t waste time instutionalized in an American university where your intelligence and ambition will get turned into, useless in real life, educated mush.

If you must get a higher education – learn some languages - go overseas or abroad.  America’s time has come and gone.  Good luck.

Was he ever really alive?

A nation’s social obligations stop

At the door to the Senate.

Powerful guys and “C” street pagans.

Oh well again. It is an age of

Disappointment in the waste of brains

It takes to not run a corporation right.

People were factored out a long time

Ago in any economic equation.

Tax equation especially.

Anybody with an MBA knows that.

Business, the new secular religion

What does that mean?

Worship of the buck – oh f**k

That what that means.

Religion is dead. Christ too by

Last count – oh Christian church

What do you stand for?

Sin and Salvation.

What ever happened to people

To life, to day to day living?

Wholistic life - medicine???

Yeah right!

One hundred odd words to go.

Age of disappointment

In people, institutions, religion

Where do we turn this thing around?

When???

Too many college degrees (aside)

Practical, manual, labor used

To build nations. Other nations,

not us Anymore.

Now spreadsheet jockeys only Jockey

(don’t know the horse)

And make paper profits on computers

Computers. Another disappointment.

The ability of a robot to make a

Better world. Whose world-

middle class world?

Shrinking class. A disappointment.!?

Boomers mostly, then X

What did I do to change the world?

Very little. Just Death and taxes

To fall back on. That’s my excuse.

What’s yours?

Taxes. Taxes. Taxes.

Age of Disappointment

In the system, in the day -

In the flow of it all.

What does the world look like

Feel like tomorrow?

Blah! America.

Age of low expectations.

Nostalgia and the Latin Mass

Forty five years later I still remember some of my altar boy Latin:

Suscipiat Dominus sacrificium de manibus tuis ad laudem et gloriam nominis sui, ad utilitatem quoque nostram, totiusque Ecclesiae suae sanctae.

(May the Lord receive the Sacrifice from your hands to the praise and glory of His Name, for our good, and that of all His holy Church.)

We altar boys were responding in many places for a silent audience behind us. Then came the “The Secret”. The Priest said the day’s secret prayer etc.

I wore a black cassock and white surplus. To accent this were white gloves, a celluloid 1920's style collar with brass collar button and a white silk scarf tied into a bow. This description reminds me of some secular lyrics from a Sinead O’Connor song. Wow! Where’s the party?

There is this return to the Latin Mass thingy in the R.C. church. I don’t understand it on one level but then I tend to see things from some very odd angles.

I read the comments of a priest once about how a “Cardinal Ratzinger wanted fewer and only obedient Catholics in the church”. I cannot find the context or the argument on the Internet anymore. The concept remained in my mind and I had to wonder how you could support a leaner meaner R.C. machine.

I grew up in the Philadelphia experiment of Saint John Neumann whereby the immigrant Catholics built a separate but superior education system. That bygone formula consisted of many, many Catholics contributing a little here and there and on a regular basis.

Indeed, having moved to NYC some thirty years ago, they were restoring St Patrick’s cathedral for it’s centennial around 1979 and the concept of how this great Gothic structure had been built literally with the pennies, nickels and dimes of the faithful was a common concept mentioned in the press releases. ( I do not like the majority of the stained glass in St. Patrick’s but that is another story. )

At the basis of the Constantine Church from its beginnings around 325 C.E. is, if not money, then property and the generation of goods for trading. In the most basic European sense of anything, property is not shelter, property is land and crops and trade (income).

Where does this new leaner, meaner more obedient future R.C. church come from? It comes from the lonely dying boomers whose property and portable cash wealth, that was estimated a decade ago at about six trillion dollars.

No doubt most of that goes to children and grandchildren but hey, even Public Broadcasting System stations these days are begging for consideration in your last will and testament. They do that on pledge breaks in between snippets of The Lawrence Welk Show etc.

Oddly enough, the people clambering most for the nostalgia of their youth and the return of the Latin Mass are old farts such as myself from the boomer generation (but not me specifically).

Comments on many blogs and customized websites exclaim the joy of being able to go to a Latin Mass just like when they were young etc.

Hey, it’s all marketing (and The Golden Rule) these days and the reward is BMW’s for the clerks at the Vatican and Mercedes cars for the big shots. Funded in the near future by mom’s estate.

Have I ever mentioned before how cynical I can be? It is one of my cardinal sins and or virtues.

I don’t knock this craving for stability (nostalgia) or the comfort of the village of one’s youth when the village was real and not virtual. I did the same when I sought out the grace, that many times accompanies a group of the faithful in prayer, and in celebration of a common liturgical service in a mainstream Protestant church.

The fear of death is as motivating a thing as any, like the fear of God, to look for some concrete answer as to what happens passed death. Buy your tickets to eternity now and buy them early.

Vorrei prenotare un posto a sedere.
