Lost Van Gogh Uncovered by Greedy Art Experts
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2013/09/09/van-gogh-museum-new-van-gogh-identified/2784885/
AMSTERDAM
(AP) — The Van Gogh Museum says it has identified a long-lost Vincent Van Gogh
painting that spent years in a Norwegian attic believed to be by another painter.
It is the first full-size canvas by the Dutch master discovered since 1928.
"Sunset
at Montmajour" depicts trees, bushes and sky, painted with Van Gogh's
familiar thick brush strokes. It can be dated to the exact day it was painted
because Vincent described it in a letter to his brother, Theo, and said he
painted it the previous day — July 4, 1888.
He said the
painting was done "on a stony heath where small twisted oaks grow."

Aldi Supermarkets Selling Horse Meat for Beef in UK – Royal Ascot Burger Please!
![]() |
| Where's The Beef? |
“The
environment secretary is due to meet the Food Standards Agency, food suppliers
and retailers on Saturday to discuss the horsemeat scandal after Aldi became
the latest supermarket to confirm its withdrawn beef products contained up to
100% horsemeat.
“Owen
Paterson said it was unacceptable that consumers were mis-sold products, but
that the problems originated overseas.
"We
believe that the two particular cases of the frozen burgers from Tesco and the
lasagne from Findus are linked to suppliers in Ireland and France respectively.
We and the Food Standards Agency are working closely with the authorities in
these countries, as well as with Europol, to get to the root of the
problem," he said.
“Paterson
said he believed the food was safe but urged consumers to return products to
the retailers. "The French authorities are saying they are viewing the
issue as a case of fraud rather than food safety. Anyone who has these products
in their freezer should return them to retailers as a precaution.".
"… The
Metropolitan police said in a statement it was not carrying out a criminal
investigation.”

Paid Foot Soldiers in the Army of Hate - Tom Starnes of Fox News, Martin SSempa, Benson Ndehi ?
Bill I think you have been pwned and are a victim of a long chain, feeding chain, frenzy, from paid hate soldiers on the Right.
Your friend Benson in Kenya is little more than a cyber space version of a street corner drug spotter, a filter, a front, for another paid hate soldier, the reverend and former (I was never GAY!) dancer Martin Ssempa of Uganda, in the hot drug spots of a city, internet, balanced discussion forums - and on the side he sells mailing lists, spam lists, twitter lists.
Kiva, Strathmore University, and Opus Dei: Another Reader Response,
"We Don't Want Homosexuals and Homosexual Sympathisers Funding
Africans"
I see your friend Benson or Njonjo, the Geraldo Rivera, of Kenya Twitter media fame, sits all day being a clearing house for information and sending it through the Pneumatic tubes of the internet thingy to inform his fellow Africans about what to see or not see in the outside European and Global Culture.
That somebody at Opus Dei without a doubt probably sent an arrow, a twitter, a little bird, an e-mail to attack you with his native African sounding name to prove that you the great evil faggot (pardon my French) is going to ruin Africa while he and his other twitter drug spotters of sorts create a virtual wall of reality in which to judge the outside world over their man made wall.
Since the North American Fortress is falling. Time to build a whole brave new world from which to dominate and attack the rest of the world in the future from, in the penthouses (?) of Africa (or is it really just still the penthouses of Fifth Avenue NYC – Rupert Murdoch and Koch Brothers high in the heights Heaven land etc.)
Here in visuals is a feeding chain of sorts in reverse from Benson to Tom Starnes at Fox Radio who I cannot determine if he is a paid employee or merely an outsourced contractor being paid or paying for time on the air - “BoutiqueJournalism”.
And the ultimate story in terms of hate and or whatever is how A Christian Company – a Christian Cup Cake company in Washington State got bullied out of business for refusing to bake a Lesbian Wedding Cake???
Truth is if you send away customers, any business will go out of business one way or another. Putting a hoped for magic word like "Christian" in front of your business name is just plain superstitious if not downright bad business in a firmly secular nation like America.
Six Degrees of Separation between anything you write in defense of your sanctity as a human being, a child of God and How the Feeding Chain of an Army of Hate can reduce you to nothing in the uncivil discourse of the defunct American Town Square, now the planet's new city dump.

Monsignor William Lynn – Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Six Million Dollar Man
This is one of those I was looking for something else and found
this instead kind of thing.
I was looking for the possible digital archives of the defunct
Catholic Standard and Times for reference to articles of Msgr. Hawks of Saint
Joan of Arc Parish in Harrowgate Philadelphia, its doors recently locked under
the new Denver bean counter regime of Charles Chaput.
I also found the beginnings of a story about the Standard and
Times announced shutting down, getting the axe for budgetary reasons and that
40 employees would lose their Jobs. As far as I can see about 25 full time
employees got the sack.
Being a tax free religious institution, the Archdiocese,
employer at the Standard and Times is not liable to pay unemployment
compensation to the 25 canned employees. There were also 20 freelance employees who more or less I would assume
were self-employed contractors.
Through the transition, the old General Manager of the Standard
is Matthew Gambino who probably handed out the pink slips and a holy card to
departing fellow employees when the Standard was more or less put on line under
the Catholic Philly site label.
Have seen a few headlines of Matthew Gambino who now is the
Philly Archdiocese equivalent of one man with a computer a la Bill Donohue over
at the Catholic League who being the PR man and gatekeeper to the Archdiocese of
NYC.
And not to forget Gambino's many many articles at National Catholic Reporter and
Catholic News Service.
Here is a sample of Matthew Gambino’s writing style and bedside
manner that no doubt was one reason for the demise of the Catholic Standard and
Times in Philly.
A candidate for the Knight of Saint Gregory for his writing
skills or merely keeping the secrets of the Devil’s Tower at 222 N 17 th
Street, in his corner office, one or several floors below the Cardinal’s
Penthouse Executive Suite on the top 13 th floor?
Well to get to the point, apparently the Archdiocese does expose
or disclose what it calls a financial disclosure statement that admits to
spending close to six million dollars on the Child Abuse Trial of Monsignor
William Lynn in the following article.
The supplemental report indicates $534,000 was spent investigating the fraudulent actions of former archdiocesan CEO Anita Guzzardi, convicted in 2012 and currently serving a two-to-seven year sentence; $4.6 million spent on an investigation related to scores of archdiocesan priests placed on administrative leave from their duties as a result of the second Philadelphia Grand Jury on clergy sexual abuse; and $6.7 million spent on the criminal trial of a priest, and an independent legal and financial review of archdiocesan operations.
Of course, none of this keeps any of the inner city churches of
Harrowgate or Frankford in Philly open. Those closings were not financial as they were more due to
attendance and probably more so than that to the fact of the lack of priests to go around.
Whatever.

Quote of the Day on Affordable Care Act For People – “Jesus Never Asked A Leper For A Co-Pay.” ~~ John Fugelsang
Ed
Schultz: The Christian faith is very clear, feed the poor, and heal the
sick. Is it really Christ-like to take healthcare away from Americans that
should have healthcare that could save their lives? …
Chaplain
Klingenschmitt: Obamacare takes healthcare away from, a half a billion dollars
was taken away from old people, from Medicare to fund basically a slew of
people who refuse to get jobs. …
John
Fugelsang: You know Jesus never asked a leper for copay. And in Matthew
10:7-8 commands his followers to heal the sick. Now every option of healthcare
on the exchange allows for a woman to choose a provider that will only allow
abortion in cases of rape or incest. Where the chaplain is being disingenuous
is that the only time that this will ever pay for an abortion is in the case of
rape or incest or if you believe as the chaplain does that contraception is the
same as abortion. So I’d like to ask the chaplain if I could, Jesus never at
any point in the gospels condemns abortion even though people were terminating
pregnancies at the time. He does however come out quite frequently against
killing the sinner through the death penalty. So have you sir ever once
protested your tax dollars being taken to fund state sanctioned killing. …
Chaplain
Klingenschmitt: Jesus said in Mark 15 that if anyone disobeys or dishonors his
mother or father he should be put to death. Jesus said in Luke 17.
John
Fugelsang: No sir. He did not say that. He is quoting Leviticus. He is
throwing that back in the face of the Pharisees. Some of us know that story
sir.

Google Insults American Labor with Barely Visible American Flag – Afraid of GOP and Conforms to Eric Cantor’s Insulting Rant Against American Labor 2012
Google does not want to offend the GOP by celebrating a “socialist” (?) holiday honoring labor per Eric Cantor’s Labor Day 2012 Tweet setting a new low standard of GOP non-humanity and non-empathy (shades of malignant narcissism?)
"Today, we celebrate those who have taken a risk, worked hard, built a business and earned their own success.” ~~~ Eric Cantor, LD2012
If the red states don’t want to celebrate a federal holiday like Labor Day or MLK day, go to work and don’t waste the charcoal in the barbecue.
The flag btw on Google is so small, a gnat, which is technically a bug, could probably carry it up Eric’s ass.
Knowing Eric, he probably might enjoy that. lol

RIP David Frost - That Was The Week That Was
Was never a great fan of David Frost. He never quite translated well from British culture but he was bright, a bit witty and ever a showman.
My earliest encounter with him or his talents were an American adaption NBC of the BBC show, That Was The Week That Was, that never quite translated beyond New York east coast style humor into the heartland in the 1964-1965 American TV season.
Above a video of his BBC show from the early sixties when he was in his twenties and below an auditory shard of the New York version of that show on Friday nights that only lasted a few months.
All they will be talking about today and tomorrow etc. will be his interviews with Tricky Dick Nixon. Boring stuff!
To this day I remember a skit on the American version of TW3 about
some John Birchers protesting some politician and the straight man or newsman
street interviewer delivers the question to veteran actress Doro Merande
“Why do you hate so and so?”
To which she replies. “We don’t hate him. We just want to hang him.” - in
her typical deadpan high pitched Yankee nasal accent style of delivery.
BTW (Cannot find a clip from Seven Year Itch when Doro Merande as a
waitress in a health food café tells of the glories of nudism to actor Tom
Ewell.) lol

Dunkin’ Donuts Sells Racism with the Morning Cup of Joe in Thailand
Nothing like a little bit of off-shore non-compliance to sell shitty coffee and say it is okay to perceive another race, the African race, in an Asian race country as some kind of decorative object.
The new global culture should try and spread tolerance and not sell intolerance for the mere sake of the increase of CEO Nigel Davis' annual bonus.
Do-Da!
Dunkin' Donuts on Friday apologized and will pull an advertising campaign running in Thailand that features a model in blackface makeup offering a chocolate doughnut.
Dunkin' Donuts in Thailand had come under fire Friday for an ad that the Human Rights Watch said was racist.
The ad in question was for Dunkin's "charcoal donut" and it features a model wearing blackface makeup and bright pink lipstick holding up a bitten doughnut. The translated Thai slogan reads: "Break every rule of deliciousness."

Pope Bows to Muslim Queen – East Meets a New West?
Found this originally on Drudge where asshole Republics troll for shit encrusted orifices to stick their busy body noses.
Perhaps Rush will devote a whole program of his 66 million dollar a year hate radio job comparing this spic Pope to the nigger president.
Bowing to a Muslim and a female. Worse than a commie – right.
All shit encrusted non-love GOP rhetoric aside, this guy Francis scares me.
Like when was the last time, we had a non-ambitious non-greedy non-pompous ass pope – in other words a human being.
As head of state at the Vatican, not to mention the leader of the world's 1.2 billion catholics, protocol requires visitors to bow to him when they meet him at the Holy See.
But Francis, who has made the forgetting of formalities a trademark of his papacy, bowed when he met a smiling Rania as she visited the Vatican with her husband King Abdullah II on Thursday.
