Hitler Visits the Warsaw Ghetto to Pray?

Given half a chance, Pope Benedict XVI would no doubt like to rehabilitate fellow German Adolph Hitler before fast tracking him to sainthood in similar fashion that the Nazi Pope Pius XII or the Lunatic Pope Pius IX have both been rehabilitated from their earthly crimes and fast tracked to sainthood.

As I have stated here before, Hitler never officially renounced and or “de-baptized” himself out of the Roman Catholic Church.  Like the nuns in grade school taught me, all he had to do was say an act of contrition before he died in order to gain heaven.

Though I have also thought that maybe saying an act of contrition while you are committing suicide might be a moot point in the eyes of God and or Saint Peter who runs heaven not unlike his so-called successors run Vatican City. Forgiveness would of course be measured against all material donations made to holy mudder church.

And of course if Hitler had won, I have no doubts in my mind that Pius XII was ready to dust off the extinct title of “Holy Roman Emperor” for the sake of a German boy making good in the world. His own good that is.

There is a rather bizarre tourist twist in Warsaw whereby artist Maurizio Cattelan, who is just trying to push the envelope in decency and or shock to sell his product which on occasion could be themed as anti-religion or anti-RCC, has tastely placed a statue of Hitler kneeling inside the old Warsaw Ghetto.

Kitsch art, blasphemy, marketing, whatever, here are some words and pictures for your own judgement.
A statue of Adolf Hitler praying on his knees has sparked controversy after going on display in the former Warsaw ghetto.
The artwork by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, titled Him, has been installed in the Polish capital where thousands of Jews were killed or sent to their deaths by the Nazi regime.
The statue has attracted large numbers of visitors since its installation last month, but some organisations have criticised the decision to erect it in such a sensitive area.
Poland's chief rabbi, Michael Schudrich, said he was consulted on the installation's placement but did not oppose it because it conveyed a strong moral question by provoking the audience. …
The Hitler statue is visible from a hole in a wooden gate and viewers can only see the back of the small figure praying in a courtyard.
Cattelan has not made it clear what Hitler is praying for, although organisers of the exhibition in which it features claim the statue is meant to make people reflect on the nature of evil. …
He said he was reassured by the organisers who told him the statue did not aim to rehabilitate Hitler but instead show that evil can present itself in the guise of a "sweet praying child"."I felt there could be educational value to it," Schudrich added.

Jesus as Jewish Rabbi – praised/retracted – Efrat Israel

There is perhaps a tempest in a tea pot and Political Correctness Heresy floating about the tea water regarding the present Rabbi of Efrat Israel.

If the Jesus Seminar ever gets a correct time line on Jesus and his divine message mission to earth, many side notes and foot notes might include on that timeline in present times how a rabbi in Isreal and his PC talk about Jesu may have gotten sabatoged by film editors surrounding Jesus and the whole rabbi thing.

Efrat rabbi retracts praise for 'Rabbi Jesus' over Orthodox ire
Defending himself from scathing criticism for a video in which he refers to Jesus as "a model rabbi," a well-respected Anglo rabbi said this week that while his terminology was "inappropriate," the poorly edited video mauled his message. The current incident is the second time this year that Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, the New York-born Orthodox rabbi of Efrat, had to clarify a controversial statement regarding Jewish-Christian relations.

In the video, Riskin says he has been "truly fascinated by the personality of Jesus, whom certainly to myself I have always referred to as Rabbi Jesus" ever since taking a university course about the gospels. "Because I think he is indeed a model rabbi in many counts and he lived the life of a Jewish rabbi in Israel in a very critical time in our history. And I have constantly come back to the study of his personality and his teachings, which are very strongly rooted in Talmudic teachings."
No matter how the PC winds blows today, tomorrow or yesterday on the topic of Jews discussing Jesus and his mission, I am presenting this You Tube video of Rabbi Schlomo Riskin in that he speaks a good talk about Jesus, Judaism and a potential Interfaith dialogue, without calling it interfaith - common ground, between Christians and Jews.

I am a Modern Christian

There’s an awful lot of bullshit about religion out there these days. There is an awful lot of people playing “GOD” in the name of jesus.

There are news sites that promote both the pro’s and con’s of abortion, distorting the whole birth control individual choice issue that can prevent pregnancy and therefore veto Abortion before there is a need for such.

There are a lot of tax free and tax reduced Hate non-profit groups that want to dictate what love, commitment or union is. There is an awful lot of fatigue out there over truth, debate, what passes for truth, what passes for debate. ETC.

A thousand, a million, a hundred million cookie cutter Christians, without heart, without the true spirit of Jesus in their heart, are not worth one true Good Samaritan pictured above.

Let me back up here. I started this blog to inform others of my mere “one” individual point of view about my interface with what I now consider “the insanity of monkeys (which is) - religion”.

I have evolved in this short period in a Darwinian sense (no, I do not believe Darwin to be “satan” whoever or what ever that is except the evil in the hearts of individuals, one or collectively in a group of people, as in an exponential growth of evil).

Darwin was only a man - he made a series of observations and calculated guesses about what was the mystery of it all. He did not write a bible. Thank the proverbial concept of God for that! He is the father of modern scientific methodology as this ignorant uneducated individual understands it.

He, Darwin, did tread on centuries of ignorance and superstition that we as local and or global cultures still cling to. Such is life.

With age comes a certain amount of experience and sometimes wisdom. As such I am a Christian.

I am a Christian who believes and or tries to follow the alleged teachings of Jesus, the alleged messiah and or alleged anointed one – “Christ”.

Of course this whole messiah/Christ thing is a Jewish thing. Somehow the Jewish thing got transplanted to another planet along the timeline to Rome – the mother of, and pig, civilization of the western ancient world.

Somewhere along the timeline, the teachings of my teacher Jesus got caught up in the Political Correctness of the Mother/Pig of nations, of Rome and the Roman Empire.

Somewhere along the timeline the teachings of Jesus got inserted into the anti-Semitic synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke and into the very Gay (I say it in a good sense of Gay Eye for the Straight Guy) Gospel of John.

I believe in a modern streamlined Jesus. I believe in the social, civil disobedient, pro-people philosophy agenda of an obscure Rabbi from Galilee.

While I believe Jesus’ message is divine, it is the internal Gnostic sense of divine within Jesus of Nazareth that evokes peace and harmony within my spirit and soul when looking out at my present social, political, economic, spiritual landscape.

I seek to define and refine that same divine spark within me that Jesus did within in his time – and dared to share insight with us in the shards of his words so powerful that they reach out to us today two thousand years later.

Jesus and his view of the world and its future and or its evolution to a new and distant place goes beyond the personal gods of Abraham, Moses and Mohammed.

I do not worship Jesus as a god. He was divinely human. He was perhaps first among equals in the ancient world. He is teacher and a path guider for all those modern generic “organized” and “fundamentalist” religious who still cling to fourth century superstitions in line with the political correctness of an ancient and dead Roman Empire.

The collective pathway to truth of religions from the past blends into the modern pathway and spiritual search of individuals to the divine - I am a modern Christian.

“He who has ears let him hear!”

Have a nice day.
