I have seen
the hype of late about how 73 million Americans or 40% of the American Public watched
that TV show, the Beatles on Ed Sullivan February 9, 1964.
As I have
stated elsewhere that I discovered “Beatles” music, briefly, on an elevator playing “Muzak” in
the late seventies in NYC.
Why all the
hype then?

We probably
were watching NBC – Bill Dana, Disney, Grindl, Bonanza etc. and then Candid Camera at 10.
