for theft at the Cabela's in Berks County last month, police said.

Record is reporting that Trooper William A. Carvounis, 35, was arrested Jan. 8
for allegedly stealing $267 worth of ammunition from the outdoors retailer,
located at the junction of Interstate 78 and Route 61 in Tilden Township.
When he was
arrested, Carvounis asked police for a break, Tilden Township Police Chief
William McElroy told The Record.
"We
don't do that," McElroy said.
